    Nice one Frank. Good fun surfing down the scree. The boots end up in some state though on that terrain, can tell they've had a tough day when you get back down. Can't beat the Cuillin when you get weather like that too, good stuff. Cheers.

      Cheers Andy, yeh I thoroughly enjoyed coming down the stone chute, wouldn’t like going up it tho🤣🤣
      Those boots I had were brill on the trip, lightweight comfy and very grippy and always scrub up well👍
      No other place like it when you get the weather.👍☀️🏔

    Great vid once again Frank , it’s great to look back and see it all over again, but I’m glad I’m not coming down that stone chute again (you missed videoing my unorthodox methodology of coming down backwards) 😂

      Cheers John, yeh it’s a great wee reminder of our trip, stone chute was fun for some while not so for others🤣🤣 whatever way gets you down.👍

    Nice one Frank and co. Well done. 👏👏The whole terrain looks like nothing I have seen before. Excited and scared to do some of these hills. Will get some done next year. See the black leather pouch thing on your left shoulder strap to hold your Go Pro where did you get it? I could do with something like that. Cheers 👍

      Cheers Andrew, the landscape up there is kinda lunar hardly any if any life up there. The Gabbro can take the skin of your fingers easily. I was the same before going Andrew, excited but a bit scared as well. It’s a claw hammer holster, fits the GoPro nicely and very handy, you can get them from Amazon.
      Cheers mate.

    Excellent Frank well done.😃👏👏
    Great scramble going up Sgurr Dubh Mor.Unfortunaly I strained my leg the day I was doing these southern ones and didn't continue to Alasdair.I noticed you guys joined the ridge going clockwise round the Lochan.Did you get onto the ridge from below the TD gap?Is there a noticable trail?This is the way i want to go back for Alasdair rather than going up the Great Stone shoot.😃👍

    • @hikingwithfrank315
      @hikingwithfrank315  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Andy, I remember watching your video when you teamed up with another couple and you couldn’t manage on to SA.
      We went round the lochan CW as we weren’t doing the 1st one.
      When you get up you’ll see a pretty worn path along the scree under the cliffs. Just keep going along this until you see the chimney. The one where I photographed in the vid. My GoPro froze going up it or I would have had it videoed. When you exit the chimney it’s pretty straight forward going up to summit. Think there was a bit of a path at times going up the scramble. The hardest bit was the chimney which was fun.
      Good fun going down the Great Stone Shoot also.👍
      Cheers mate.👍🏔🥾
