You’re welcome just copy all the tuning that I did when you get it and it should run great. make sure you order a phone holder and a silicone chain guard for your rear swing arm. When you hit a bump, your chain will slap the top of the rear swing arm and start chipping away paint. If you look on Amazon, they have a bunch of different styles. One of those will work.
Yeah I remember you talking about that chain guard deal I wasn't really sure what that was but I thought I would figure it out when it gets here. It looks pretty good I have to figure that out myself. Yours seems to have a little snap thing or something on the side that I saw. Thanks @@E_bikeDad
It looks like there are slotted holes on the swing arm where the caliper bracket attaches. You might be able to adjust the caliper/bracket down a bit by utilizing the space in those slotted holes...
Can you link the brakepad. Site confusing me. Think i found the item butbit says for ekx 20 and ekx 21 , but shows photos of two different style brakepads and no option to choose which one, just order button
When I ordered mine from the EKX site, I clicked on the picture of the X 21 pads before I purchased I believe that’s the selection. Click the picture of the pad that you wanna buy before you check out. That’s the way I did it. ekx-ebike.com/shop/brake-pads/
Hi, I got my bike today, it came in early it wasn't supposed to be here till next week. I put it all together, but do you happen to know where those 2 little rubber o rings on the front brake caliper goes? When I took off the bubble wrap that was around it the whole thing fell apart and I couldn't figure out where it goes. i looked at the rear one and I didn't see any on that one. So I put it together with out it. it still seems to work. Also When you charge the battery do you put the battery in in the on position ? or does it not matter ? The instructions that came with this thing are terrible. Thanks
The little rubber O-rings I think we’re just to keep the screws on the caliper and shipping when I tightened up the screws the rubber O-rings broke and I had to take them off anyway. As far as the battery You want to take it completely off and charge in the off position. I guess you could charge it while on the bike as long as it’s in the off position , but I take it completely out. And do not charge it overnight just in case. There’s a lot of other factors that have to do with faulty batteries that I’ve been watching videos on from New York and California, but just to be safe I don’t charge any type of batteries overnight. I hope this helps if you have any other questions just put in the comments on one of my videos.
@@E_bikeDad yeah thanks a lot because I really was confused over those little rubber things And the battery I wasn't sure if it was on your video or not they talked about just had to top it off cuz I put it on the charger and it was probably on there for a couple hours and it was still red on the light on the charger so I took it off and just to play safe I put it out in the backyard kind of in the shade so to keep it cool I know I'm getting a little overboard here cuz I have had some electric bikes before but I don't know lately I've seen some stuff about Talaria's catching on fire and stuff so getting a little concerned. But I do like the fact that I can pull it out, but I'll give it another shot to charge it up tomorrow I did put it in there temporarily and took it out for just a couple of minutes to see what to do and I'll tell you this thing really has some serious power and that was an eco mode.
I have noticed the battery takes a while to charge but mine was full when I got it. Try to time it each charge. I’m working on getting and average. Talaria had from what I understand had some bikes go out with the wrong battery. I got my first flat so I’m about to do a tire change video.
@@E_bikeDad I put to the battery back on the charger this morning. Now that I know a little bit more I'll leave it on for a lot longer to see when the green light comes on. The manual did say leave it on for another hour after the green light comes on so I'll wait and see what happens you're right The Talaria that caught on fire was a battery that was from a company called scud and before that they were using a company called Greenway so I'm kind of curious of where the battery in our bikes are from. I looked on the label but I can't determine anything from that. I hope that flat tire you got was at least in the front and not the back. I'm still looking forward to seeing that video though. The tires are kind of funny it feels almost like they're low on air but they're not it has a really soft ride to it. I know you said you almost crashed because of the tires I'm not sure what that really meant. Maybe it's because those really nobby tires didn't grjp the road right? I don't know. You don't happen to have the link to where you bought that phone mount ? There's about a million of them on Amazon , but I kind of like the one you have. @E_bikeDad
I’ll have to put a link in one of my videos but look for an all metal phone mount. The one I have it’s a little high. It’s called Tiakia. Unfortunately it was the back tire, but I have to learn sometime how to do that. It only took me 20 minutes to change the tube.
Do you know how to bleed the brakes on the freego x2?? I’ve accidentally opened a can of worms on myself and cannot find a single video anywhere on how to do it. There doesn’t seem to be a bleed nipple of any kind at the caliper
@@Ink.by.me. that’s something I haven’t had to do yet sorry I can’t help. my advice is to try and find another brand that has a Caliper with no bleed nipple and watch how they do it. This is a good idea for future video. I’m gonna have to look into it.

I took the washers out and it dropped it to the perfect height
