I've been to both. Fort Ticonderoga is in Ticonderoga, NY and is on the west shore of Lake Champlain. Fort William Henry is in Lake George, NY and is on the south shore of Lake George. Hope that helps. Both are worth the trip and all the other things the Adirondacks has to offer. This video is good but just the tip of the iceberg.
