- Welcome to PART TWO of our baby moon in the Maldives! Come along with us as we travel via sea plane to another Soneva resort - Soneva Fushi!
This resort had a totally different vibe than Soneva Jani. It was much more “naturesque” and grounding which was just what I needed after our stay in the overwater villa.
After quickly checking out our beach villa we headed straight to the spa and I immediately felt SO relaxed here! A review on trip advisor actually described this resort as a hippie commune which was hilarious because everyone was barefoot and the modes of transport were basically walking or biking so everywhere we went there was a massive row of bicycles.
The food here was MIND BLOWING. Seriously, every single thing I ate was like the best food I’ve ever had! We also had quite the adventure snorkeling on this trip which was definitely one for the books. This was another super family friendly location and I cannot wait to come back with baby Orion with us!

Love seeing the differences between the resorts. I agree that I’d get really out of sorts over water and with all white decor. Give me the earth tones! Also Mama Bear Brennan over those rabbits has me dyinggg 😂

Kathrin, iv never watched your vlogs before, i didnt even know you did them until i signed up to your current round of MBA (2023) and i found the link through one of your emails. firstly MBA is changing my life in so many ways and i havnt even started manifesting yet but i just know in my soul that they are coming. My main manifestation is to find my soulmate and basically create a dream family just like yours but my own personal version. These vlogs have helps me tap into the feeling i need to help me manifest this dream life. you deserve all these life wonders for what you share with the world. thank you for MBA, and i hope your enjoying your time off.

The bunny scene is definitely one of my top three moments 🤣 he was SO HEATED! I also love his dumb Steve Irwin-ish Australian accent commentary, and the crazy boat story! But the boat story was hard to share because we were in the water WITHOUT a camera 🤣

looks fab!! did you get a lot of mosquitoes? I was planning a babymoon to the maldives too, but every single website says not to go during pregnancy due to the high risks of Zika and Dengue mosquito bites?
We didnt have a lot of Mosquitos, but I know there are certain times of the year that are particularily prone to mosquitos. The soneva resorts tend to be much better, if my memory serves me right. But pregnancy wise, I totally understand. Brennan was wildly vigilant around mosquitoes becuase of Zika, but like I said, we didnt experience any problems! Definitely recoommend researching all natural mosquito repellant. There are some FANTASTIC ones... the best and hardest to get is one from India. The US/Western ones are so filled with chemicals ....yuck! 🤮

Yes, there are definitely some. But it really varies! Also by type! Mosquitos are really dependent on fresh water, so some resorts (or islands) have more than others!
wondering what the crowd is like at these resorts? do you see the other people a lot? are they nice ? do you talk? :)
Some places are more uptight, others are more laidback. It really depends. Soneva Fushi was the latter… for sure!
