- Welcome my friends, to The Machine 3. You have come over to the Synthesizer Channel.
This is The Machine 3, the completed trilogy for The Machine, a deck based on the amazing Synthesizer. With this version we have gone back to it's Mono Blue roots and have included cards that have previously not been seen in a Synthesizer deck. We have more ways to win than just the synthesizer!
Fun Meter Rating: 8. The deck is a lot of fun to play with it's diversity of cards.
Win Rate: 64%.
Strong: We've got Midrange completely under control. We have game against Combo and Control.
Weak: Those pesky fast Aggro decks are still a pain.

Crafting Guide for The Machine 3:
Three Steps Ahead is a great counter with added utility. These are auto includes when playing a Synthesizer deck. Craft all 3.
Jace Reawakened is useful but not critical. You can easily up the counts on Three Steps Ahead and Thran Spider and not miss a beat. Do no Craft.
The Channeler is a fantastic include in this version. You will want a number of these. Craft at least 2.
The Synthesizer is a requirement in a Synthesizer deck. Get them!
The Helm is still a very useful buddy to our Synthesizer. Craft all 2.
Thran Spider is an amazing machine. Craft at least 2.
Encroaching Mycosynth is the card that unlocks this deck. Craft at least 2.
Golden Argosy is a tricksy play, but if you don't have it you can go up on cards like the Spider, add one more Season, or take Three Steps Ahead to a full 4. Do not Craft.
Karn can be a huge helper with his ability to make Powerstones. He is another Win Con if we have trouble with the Synthesizer. Craft all 2.
Teferi is a beast, in this deck he helps us draw and make tokens that can get bigger and bigger. He is easily another Win Con if we fail elsewhere. Craft all 2.
Chimil is a fantastic card to have in Synthesizer decks. It stops opposing counter spells and gets us a free card. Craft all 2.
Season of Weaving can be huge. The only downfall is its 6 Mana casting cost. With it we can copy a Synthesizer twice or draw a bunch. It's even useful to evacuate all nonland, nontoken permanents. Talk about GGs.
We didn't talk about the lands as there are no rare lands in the deck. It's the exact same Mana Base as the original Mono Blue deck.

That's a fantastic name! I like it! When I started the channel, I almost went with band and song names for decks. This would have been Blue Man Group, lol.

I'm regretting the golgari roots deck i crafted. Second time hating golgari. Back to synthesizer
No worries my friend, we have more Synthesizer shenanigans on the way, they just won't be Mono Blue. Synthesizer is just way too much fun, lol.

My friend, you're not stupid. All it takes is a deck with a winning record and plenty of time to get through the ranks. I suggest finding a deck you enjoy playing that does win consistently and play the heck out of it. Time to play games is really what tends to hold most people back. I end up getting to diamond most months before time runs out. I have gotten to mythic a few times but most of the time I can't get enough games in to make it there.
