You can digitize letters from backdrop images, convert vector objects, or digitize freehand using any of the input method tools. Won't you need to adjust the outline for push? -.2 works for pull but the ends are going to push out beyond that outline, won't they?

Hi Lindee, yes you are correct, either extend the ends of the outline or shorten the inside columns :)

If I create letters and want to make changes to the outlines later, how do I open the letter back up again?

Hi Tommy you would use the User refined letter feature. Here is an article and video link productblog.wilcom.com/user-refined-letters/

If I create a custom font can it be saved as an .esa file and installed on another system, say laptop and desktop?

Hi Yes, You can save the .esa file to another of your computers with the software installed.
The esa file is version sensitive so it must be installed on a computer with the current version or later.
      For Version 4 save to C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.2\USERLETW
      Cheers

Yes, you can save to another computer but the fonts are version sensitive so the other system must be the same or newer than the version the font was digitized with.
save the file to C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.2\USERLETW
