The 'Carving Stamp' feature in Wilcom's EmbroideryStudio allows you to define a pattern of needle penetrations using a ‘carving stamp’ as a template. A carving stamp can be any vector or embroidery shape. 'Use Pattern' lets you select and apply pre-defined stamp patterns to selected objects. 'Use Object' allows you to use selected outlines as a temporary stamp. The 'Digitize' feature lets you digitize custom splits ‘on the fly’. The 'Appearance' control allows you to soften or intensify the effect. Watch the video for an introduction to using this powerful feature in EmbroideryStudio e4.2.
