- In this video, I'm swatching the brand new Fenty Beauty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipsticks. I'm doing the whole collection of the Velvet Liquid Lipsticks from Fenty which consists of five new shades - C Suite'Heart, Riri, The MVP, H.B.I.C. and Bread Winn'r.
These liquid lipsticks are a new plush formulation for the Fenty Beauty line. These velvet lipsticks are supposed to have full one-swipe pigmentation, with rich colors, that hydrate the lips with a whipped formulation. They're $29 each and I linked where you can purchase them down below!

Great review love your lip swatch videos 🤩 I’m definitely picking up both of those red shades. I love a good blue based red but the deeper one looks so pretty as well. MVP reminds me of the shade Love from Em Cosmetics but I think it’s being discontinued so if so this looks like a great dupe! Also, does the shades in this launch remind anyone of when Kylie Cosmetics first dropped their lip kits? I think they dropped similar shades with the pinks and deep brown shades. Gave me Deja vu a little bit lol 😆

They kind of seem like the velvet liquid lipsticks ColourPop used to have, I miss that formula so much! Gonna have to try these Fenty ones 💕

Just discovered your channel and LOVE your videos, swatches, observations. I bought Fenty poutsicle and velvet lipstick and Rare Beauty lip oils after confirming which shades to try from your videos.
You mentioned lip lines in this video vs blurring. Do you have any suggestions for using matte liquid lipsticks and minimizing lines? Aside from exfoliation.

My only suggestions I guess would be to make sure you hydrate the lips well before applying a matte lipstick. I love using a lip mask at night and prepping my lips with a mask while I do my makeup so they're moisturized!

I like the colours ao I swatched these in store yesterday but they felt very dry and matte, like the Kylie liquid lipsticks. I love the huda and nars powermatte liquid lips which are both super long lasting, I heard these fenty ones are not long lasting like the regular lipsticks or stunna lip paints, is that the case?
I love the NARS Liquid Lipsticks too! I feel like the Fenty formulation is much more whipped which helps them not feel dry on my lips. I can't wear the Kylie ones because they're SO dry 😂
For me, these are long lasting but if I were to compare, the NARS ones are a little bit more lasting because they dry down completely since they're thinner and not this whipped texture!
It’s not worth it to me. Bought the MVP and a no for me. Lovely color but it’s not transfer proof. Velvet matte finish indeed but it dried my lips out. Also, I was shocked when I looked in the mirror and it was all over my lips, smudged and all. This was after I ate dinner

I tried it out when we got them at my ulta and they are comfortable and beautiful. However the downfall.. you have to line them because they bleed for sure. And I wore one of the reds, 😅

I wanted to love my fenty liquid lipstick but its not staying in place. I choose the red shade and the color is so pretty but if you are not careful it scatters
Oh no!! I've heard some have experienced feathering since it's a more mousse-like/velvet texture. If you're not a fan of traditional liquid lips, I'd suggest maybe NARS power pigment or NYX Lip Lingeries
What's your skin tone in MAC ?

HBIC stands for Head B**** in Charge. I learned that acronym from Riverdale because of Cheryl Blossom, the shows mean girl. HBIC looks better on you than The MVP. Bread winner looks the best on you.
