Born and raised in NM, I can tell you none of these places are anywhere near these prices. Most homes in Santa Fe are above $500,000. If you can find a cheaper housing market there, please let us know!

Even for a year ago you wouldn't find those prices. 🙄

These prices are not the current cost of living in Santa Fe. Expect to pay $500k up for a home that needs a lot of work

Misleading title: Pojoaque is 18 miles from the edge of Santa Fe, too far to be a suburb

Being from santa fe, most of the places mentioned are way more expensive than listed and if your not a native or Hispanic, you will be livin in fear of your life. Whiterock is almost 50 minutes from santa fe and good luck finding anything to buy, theres a scarcity of houses. This whole video is ridiculous.

My husband is moving down there for a job (high paying) in Los Alamos so that is super discouraging...

I live in Española, I am not Native or Hispanic, and I do not live in fear of my life. Please stop with the fearmongering.

A word of advice., which by the way, I base my opinion on persons by their actions and not where they are from or their ethnicity. Be cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I lived next to people from India who are in the computer technology field and ever since they moved in there has been nothing but trouble. I had issues with my WIFI and computer network being hacked. When I am online my connection constantly drops. Besides that about 5 people are living in a junior one bedroom which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally since there are so many of them they need to step outside and have phone conversations in front of other persons apartments causing a disturbance. They were repeatedly asked to stop but would not listen. When they used the laundry room they would leave the clothes in the machines for hours and even days sometimes. Meanwhile other people need to use the machines. They would not keep clean. Once an animal dropped turd right by their front door and they would not clean it up. The would constantly walk in and out and not have the decency to pick it up. This resulted in a fly problem in my house. And the problem did not subside until they moved out.

If you're not basing your opinion on where someone is from/ethnicity, why tell us they are from India?

...Santa Fe used to be a great place back in the '60's and '70's, time frame I lived there. But then all the white eyes started moving in and ruined a small quiet town. Not to mention those stinky hippies. Left in '79 went back for a spell in the mid '90's and could've stand how much and unfriendly it had become. I'm ashamed to say I was from there. Alas, I'll never go back...Ahó

I find that the most unfriendly people are the Pueblo people. They have a piss-poor attitude towards anyone who isn’t one of them. And I’ve had plenty of personal encounters. I guess they’re trying to punish the rest of us for what they see as past injustices. But by having this attitude toward people who have done nothing to them, they’re just turning people against them. Well, they’ve accomplished that!
