Carole returns from a holiday to find Pine Hollow deserted and believes that her friends have forgotten her birthday. A valuable horse transported from France arrives at Pine Hollow but escapes into peril. A thief seems to be operating in the stables and Veronica is sure it is Scooter.
Based on the series of popular books for young readers, The Saddle Club follows the lives of three aspiring equestrians developing their riding skills at Pine Hollow Stables. Each of the girls has assorted personal baggage: Tomboy Stevie's impulsive nature gets her into constant trouble, Carole rides to overcome a family tragedy, and Lisa is an overachiever with a social-climbing mother. Despite their problems (and the schemes of a spoiled rich rival, Veronica), the girls' love of horses and strong friendship with one another is always enough to help them overcome any obstacle.

Where is everyone who watched this as a kid and is now an adult with horses of their own? Im taking the week of work and watching this before I go see my OTTB for her afternoon rinse off and hay (it’s very hot here right now, not trying to deal with heat stroke)

Read the books as a kid. Even though I was "too old" for the show, I still watched it as an older teen. Still occasionally go back to both as an adult for the delicious nostalgia and to remind me of what it was like to love horses in the first place. (I get burned out from time to time. Had my own for 18 years (still have a plucky pony left, who is out on lease to be a companion for an elderly TB), have worked in the industry from stable hand, to barn manager, rescue and rehab, veterinary assistant, private barn sitter. I've met the best (and worst) people in the horse world.

Unfortunatley they cannot because the second season (this one) was filmed in 2003 and the first one in 2001 so they are all grown up now but i would love to turn back time and make some more episodes and see what a great time that was.
