I have a question. I have been saving shards (200+ shards so far) for a toon (Darth nihilus) but did not activate the character. If I buy the hyperdrive bundle, it activates Darth Nihilus to 5 star. But what happens to my 200+ shards that I've been saving up?
Something to note: If somebody does buy this pack, make sure to go through every event, challenge, node, everything at least once. Sim it for sure. There are free crystals available for first time completion of most things.

I started years ago and stopped playing for a LONG time. Now I’m a 65,000 team in arena and the top tiers are rocking relic 7 gear 13 GAS teams. I can’t find a match less than 70,000😢
Dude i am in the top 1000 on my shard level. I only spent 22$ for gems and that has been it for me dude lol. Im dominating my rank. There are like mayby the top 500 dominating, but even then I am doing great for myself.
I really try to think of this in terms of any other game I play, whether console or computer or whatever. I've played this game for years now and I log on every day (can't quite say I play every day. Is farming play?). I think it's only fair I pay something, so I'll spend maybe $20 a year. But I look at any of the bundles in this game, this one in particular being $100 and I can't even imagine it. Is this game worth more than a triple A game? Worth more than a game with actually accessible game modes and dynamic gameplay? Even in the good times with this game, I honestly sometimes feel like it's more of an addiction than something I actually enjoy.

They'll be dominating the arena now for months making it extremely unfriendly for new players who are unaware or don't want to spend. It's insane, unfair, and just downright scummy. Imagine these people now can get carried by a stronger guild for sith raid and tbs and further their power gap before any normal player even had a chance.
They also need to make money this lets people spend money to get the full game early rather then grinding it out for a year. Go play candy crush if you wanna cry about paying 100$ for a game. Buy that ur ahead and you really don’t need to spend anything else on the game
Emperor Isaac yes it’s completely one sided because if this would have came out when I first started and I’m a f2p player. This would have been a horrible experience because there yeah there are people who paid and got ahead some by like a month or 2 but this is literally a years worth of time. This is sad, it started out to be very F2P friendly and then greed became their biggest concern. They should definitely state outright from the start, that this game is not intended to be fun for F2P people that can't afford these packs and new characters. You feel left out right from the start, it's like walking in the park and seeing there is a bench to sit on, as you go closer you see a sign: "Whales only" and you sit on the ground instead or heading into the cantina stage 8 with your mates and the bar tender screams "We don't serve their kind here".
Worst part is, somehow this game is the only Star Wars game to have lived for this long. Force arena, Force collection (way better games imo) got yeeted years ago because they weren’t managed well. Then there was this other Star Wars RPG game that got taken out just a year into its release (a long time ago) and a base building clash-of-clans clone that also disappeared some time ago. The reason galaxy of heroes is still kicking is because of its hidden evil genius: it’s full of content yet overly complex which means lots of YouTubing which means creators can build their channels off of this game. (Ahnald makes this mundane game super fun.) It’s super enticing to spend even just a little bit of money, and EA also pays to have the game advertised. (Unlike Konami letting force collection slowly rot and netmarble letting force arena rot.) It’s also a unique game which means no competition. Even though the game has so many flaws, it’s a masterpiece in terms of success. It’s currently top 100 in the App Store, and it’s been out for 6 years now. And I know it all works. Why? Because no matter how many times I shit on this game, I always come crawling back. Even though it’s agonizing for a f2p player like me. It’s the only real Star Wars game there is right now
I believe that this is so unfair, once buying this bundle you can screw over any other opponent and F2P Players will be struggling holding their own and one thing I want to say is that if people that love to go through everything and watch everything unfold slowly will ruin their experience buying this bundle

sixtofive I'm currently working on the Clones, and I am actually so upset that this multi month worth+ of grinding for characters is worthless now that there's a hyperdrive bundle... that I can't buy. And people who buy the hyperdrive bundle just get the entire clone team, and get free upgrades, etc... I'm disgusted and saddened deeply..

Saw your video on starting a f2p account, and it inspired me as someone who has never played the game to give your separatist strategy a go and install the game. Starting the same day you did, I'm roughly about the same progress through, on the same shard. I'm enjoying playing it and was considering getting the hyper drive upgrade, but after seeing this video I doubt I ever will, thank you for putting my mind at ease, as I'll likely never spend money on the game now. It's advertised as being for new players, but is in fact the complete opposite, new players don't want to skip content of the game, they want to experience it nor do they want to spend £100 on a game they just started playing. This is clearly marketed for whales, so that they can get past a lot of the grind and start dominating the top of the charts immediately, and continue to do so. The saddest thing about this bundle is that as a "mostly" f2p of games I'll have to resign myself to the fact that I'll never be anyway competitive with someone who bought it. I also don't get why whales would like it either, you wont ever get to compete with or smash non whales ever again, you'll only ever be competing against other whales, where only the size of you wallet matters. It's a pretty dumb move by the devs to split the player base so blatantly, and is usually the downfall of a game. I hope you still keep doing the f2p series, I'd really like to know what you are grinding and spending the various currencies on when there isn't a separatist in the group, and what you are building as a lightside team in meantime. My only problem with it is the value depreciates the closer you level up to 85 naturally, but without playing you don’t know if you want to spend that much on the game
I made a f2p account in August 2018, hoarded energy for a month or so, and then by late December was able to start taking #1 in both arenas. The crystal income (as well as my careful planning to unlock JKR in time for the next event) allowed me to keep pace with some big spenders on my shard who'd already whaled out on rosters of 3-4m GP. The hyperdrive bundle, combined with the fact that all previously rare event-based characters can now be unlocked instantly, has destroyed the dream of being able to play cleverly as f2p while coming top of the arena and riding that crystal wave with the big boys. There used to be a real charm to this game, where yes, if you spent you generally got ahead, but the little guy could still have a chance to keep up if playing properly. I don't blame CG because they're just trying to make more profit, but it's sad for the rest of us. It's not even that I couldn't spend the money on the hyperdrive bundle if I wanted to - it's just that, for me, spending money on this game takes all the fun out of it. It's precisely the headache of having limited resources and time which makes it so fun to strategize creatively and find ways to win while not paying. And even if you're not playing to win or to be competitive in arena, it makes it so much more exciting and rewarding if you have to prioritise certain cherished Star Wars characters over others in your quest for collecting your favourite heroes. As Ahnald said, RIP f2p.
I started this game a month after it came out, I’ve regularly taken 1-3month breaks here and there but anybody buying this bundle has matched my ships inventory, has a better Basti than me and gets a better zeta income than me lmao
Im f2p with a 3 or 4 year account and im at 3.2mil playing everyday. This bundle makes f2p have no chance to do well. f2p players need a little help to compensate
I remember when this bundle just came out, was just getting back into the game and this bundle was great. So glad I never threw all my progress away back in 2019 when so many said “start fresh, you will never catch up to fleet and squad arena”. Not only did I catch up I pushed into 217 in arena, and 64 in fleet. Hope that others who got back into the game did not listen to bad advice to throw away hard work just to be in an easier shard.
I don’t see many new F2P players joining the game now that whaling is so easy and encouraged by CG. Sure it was possible before but not anywhere near this extent.
Damn I never realized the true impact the bundle has. That’s crazy. You don’t even have to complete the nodes. You can just start farming. Insane. Definitely the best value they’ve ever had in a bundle. I thought my droid bundle for five bucks was a steal back in the day. This is just nuts.
I started playing when sion was released and that was amazing to get him and this year spent farming, upgrading and getting those characters was something great and now when today I unlocked Darth revan I see how much time you can save by buying this pack xd R.I.P f2p
Dude I gotta thank you for this video, because I was tossing up whether to buy it last year and the videos I saw last year already had most characters and I assumed because it unlocked 3 - 5 chars it confused me on whether I could get 65 chars and yeah... I was lvl 40 or so now I’m lvl 72 but I still think it is still worth it for me to get this. So thank you for showing a brand new account getting it cause now I know exactly what it will give me... although it’s $169 for us here in australia

I’ve been f2p and around rank 100 basically since I started. I can’t imagine what it’s like for new players vs hyperdrive bundle but I know that with determination and a good guild, anything is possible
I was worried when I first saw this, but glad you are keeping the F2P account. For what it's worth, when they released the bundle my f2p alt was around level 77 so I didn't even take a look at it. I've seen a few people in arena and fleet that bought the pack, but it hasn't been that bad on my shard. The main reason I skipped it is because I bought it on my main to get the gear and it inflated my GP so bad that my first couple of GACs have been brutal. Also when you really think about it, it doesn't get you that far ahead. 5* and G8 really does nothing for end game or guild activities and you still have to level up all the ships and their gear. While it's targeted at helping new people catch up, I think it probably winds up confusing a lot of them since they suddenly have all these characters and squads and have no idea what to focus on. Even with everything unlocked, you still need to focus on a small group of characters if you're going to do well at end game. I've honestly been enjoying my alt account more than my main since it's F2p and I can focus on a smaller more streamlined roster. My Nightsisters I've basically been working on since the start do just fine even against the hyperdrive squads in arena. I'll be interested to see how your F2P account goes and look forward to the content you make on it.
Played this game for 2 years on and off and was actually happy when the bundle came out. It helped me get back into it and gave me a boost for getting CLS. I never farmed any of the rebels necessary for it so the 5 star characters was a big help.
I paid for the bundle when I was a fairly high level and it still helped me. I think it is still worth it even for high levelled players due to getting shards that can be converted too.
I am so happy that my f2p account beat an hyperdrive-whale account in grand arena :) But also with hyperdrive bundle you will see soon the truth: There is always a bigger fish/whale than you ;)
Not gonna lie, this unmotivated me to play until I get the hyperdrive bundle. There’s no point in me just playing anymore if I can just get the bundle and get all these benefits
I started playing this game in September and I play daily and i am a small dolphin. I was cool with the hyperdrive bundle at first, I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to buy it, but it’s a company and they need to make money. after seeing what it’s done to my shard, I don’t even want to play this game anymore. What’s the point of grinding for months when someone with more disposable income can just buy their way to be MONTHS in front of me. I still haven’t unlocked the zeta mat challenge and am only level 83 and I’ve been playing for almost 6 months. I’m gonna keep trying for a few more weeks because I really love this game, but ultimately I don’t want to play a game that I don’t even have a chance to succeed... I am going to get ROCKED in grand arena in a few weeks and it’s just a shame how it turned out
But you are missing the CG plan. Get them to spend on a deal then they are more likely to continue to be a dolphin or whale out. It’s addicting. They are like drug dealers giving new customers a taste. But here if everyone got it free they wouldn’t feel like they have to spend. Once you open the wallet the first time it is easier and easier to open it up in the future.
I am about 4 months in on my account and f2p. I'm 41 vao shards away from JKR and starting work on DR. But I really don't have much on teams, mostly was just going for characters I like. But now I'm getting competitive and realized I wasted a lot of time and resources. After this video I'm definitely contemplating it to save time on the other teams

I guess I see F2P different than you do. Levels 1-85 are a different tier of the game and there's plenty to do for f2p that doesn't involve the endgame content. Seems kinda silly to be concerned about the top 15 Arena ranks before you've even beaten all the LS and DS missions, y'know?
I love the comparison, keep it up! I just wish you could have f2p arena shards would make it more competitive for f2p players, but I understand that if you pay you should get the advantage.
Sadly the purchase crashed on iPad and still charged my account. I tried again and it downloaded on iPhone but Apple so far refusing to refund the earlier failed transaction.
I've been playing since basically launch. Back when you were advising to get Luminara from GW because she was an OP healer. Galactic legends and all these new p2p events have just ruined the fun for me from this game. I am considering saving up money, starting a new account, and just getting the bundle so i can get the head start on ships that I never got on my main account. In all honesty, a Hyperdrive account can probably reach the new characters faster than my main account just by the amount of crystals they will be taking in from the arenas daily.
I think going through all this f2p is way more fun than just buying it. Ofcourse you‘ll be far behind in your Arena, but in GAC and TW you‘ll be still facing other spenders if you go hyperdrive. And as we all know - there is always somebody that spends more. So....The f2p is dead - long live the f2p!
If they were to put players who buy the bundle into their own shard that would be the #1 thing going in the right direction and I would no longer have any issues with it.
I think most people forget to mention the main problem with the hyperdrive bundle compared to a longer f2p or boosted account. The ten zetas are no gift imo. They re here to compensate what you wont get as leveling up. And beyond that your GP is going through the roof while your squads are mostly naked, even with the materials you get in the pack. So indeed you re stuck with the squads the bundle gives you. Dont but this pack if you plan to level up BH or Geos for instance. Cause this is gonna be even more GP, resulting in being really badly hurt in GaC as you ll face 700k optimized teams. It makes you be able to participate in a lot of aspects of the game for sure but it ll ask for work after that. Other than that, it ll give you a great advantage in ships.

He left out one of hte biggest advantages. being so much closer to 7* on a character means you can join a guild farming raids and get started on GK, Han, and Traya a month or more in advance.
In Europe prices are more than $99. It is $120 (459 pln) and this price is crazy here mainly due to currency conversion rate. For $360 you can rent a decent bedsit in a capital city, that is much more expensive than the rest of the country. I am sure that in smaller cities you can rent 2 bedroom flat for $250. One has to be insane to spend $120 for the game in this reality. I am sure GC could earn much more here if they adjusted prices to the market of this country.

I mentioned on the last video that i started an Alt account just before the Anniversary gift. Had they reworked Mace Windu properly I would have bought this bundle on my alt account. haven't spent a dime since.
There are two kinds of ppl who play mobile games: 1. Whales, who play to shine and to dominate. For them this bundle is a good headstart but still they will need to squeeze thousands later to stay competitive in the late game with some new meta etc. And if a person is ready to pay $100 just for a starter (even a really good one) bundle in the new game he sure was planning to spend some serious money there and he still would not be a match for f2p or a small spender even without that bundle (so no worries for them). CG with that offer just losing the larger money that guy would ve paid separately for the things in the bundle anyway. 2. F2P/small spenders, who play just for the game itself. For them to buy such bundle is just to lose the fun part of having a new player experience, steadily discovering new parts of the game, having the joy of some small campaign achievements or getting some new interesting heros etc.
Super cool, you do a great job of making your videos exciting btw (first video I’ve seen of you yours) I do want to say though I was thinking about getting it but it seems like buying this bundle would kinda ruin the fun of the climb and the replayability itch.
Can we get a shout out to hoarding early? You can intentionally not level to open the arena but farm up raid characters and characters from the guild store. You can also stock pile energy from your daily rewards to huge amounts for when you want to burst into arena :)
I agree that a lot of people can get sentimental about there favourite characters but that's to there disadvantage. When I started this game first thing I did was buckle down after listening to you ahnald and shooting for Pheonix. I think this bundle can be good if there are people who want to buckle down

Hate to break it to you but out of top 500 is *really* bad. I am f2p and took a three year break but even I can place top 400 pretty easily

This is sickening. As someone who has been paying since the game launched, this whole heartedly disgusts me. I am not against cg making money, but this breaks the new player experience for f2p and p2w players.
sixtofive I'm currently working on the Clones, and I am actually so upset that this multi month worth+ of grinding for characters is worthless now that there's a hyperdrive bundle... that I can't buy.
And people who buy the hyperdrive bundle just get the entire clone team, and get free upgrades, etc...

Saw your video on starting a f2p account, and it inspired me as someone who has never played the game to give your separatist strategy a go and install the game. Starting the same day you did, I'm roughly about the same progress through, on the same shard. I'm enjoying playing it and was considering getting the hyper drive upgrade, but after seeing this video I doubt I ever will, thank you for putting my mind at ease, as I'll likely never spend money on the game now.
It's advertised as being for new players, but is in fact the complete opposite, new players don't want to skip content of the game, they want to experience it nor do they want to spend £100 on a game they just started playing. This is clearly marketed for whales, so that they can get past a lot of the grind and start dominating the top of the charts immediately, and continue to do so. The saddest thing about this bundle is that as a "mostly" f2p of games I'll have to resign myself to the fact that I'll never be anyway competitive with someone who bought it.
I also don't get why whales would like it either, you wont ever get to compete with or smash non whales ever again, you'll only ever be competing against other whales, where only the size of you wallet matters.
It's a pretty dumb move by the devs to split the player base so blatantly, and is usually the downfall of a game.
I hope you still keep doing the f2p series, I'd really like to know what you are grinding and spending the various currencies on when there isn't a separatist in the group, and what you are building as a lightside team in meantime. Thanks.

I convinced some of my friends to start playing this game a few weeks before the hyperdrive bundle dropped. They're pretty mad.
I made a f2p account in August 2018, hoarded energy for a month or so, and then by late December was able to start taking #1 in both arenas. The crystal income (as well as my careful planning to unlock JKR in time for the next event) allowed me to keep pace with some big spenders on my shard who'd already whaled out on rosters of 3-4m GP.
The hyperdrive bundle, combined with the fact that all previously rare event-based characters can now be unlocked instantly, has destroyed the dream of being able to play cleverly as f2p while coming top of the arena and riding that crystal wave with the big boys. There used to be a real charm to this game, where yes, if you spent you generally got ahead, but the little guy could still have a chance to keep up if playing properly. I don't blame CG because they're just trying to make more profit, but it's sad for the rest of us.
It's not even that I couldn't spend the money on the hyperdrive bundle if I wanted to - it's just that, for me, spending money on this game takes all the fun out of it. It's precisely the headache of having limited resources and time which makes it so fun to strategize creatively and find ways to win while not paying. And even if you're not playing to win or to be competitive in arena, it makes it so much more exciting and rewarding if you have to prioritise certain cherished Star Wars characters over others in your quest for collecting your favourite heroes.

I started this game a month after it came out, I’ve regularly taken 1-3month breaks here and there but anybody buying this bundle has matched my ships inventory, has a better Basti than me and gets a better zeta income than me lmao

Im f2p with a 3 or 4 year account and im at 3.2mil playing everyday. This bundle makes f2p have no chance to do well. f2p players need a little help to compensate

I remember when this bundle just came out, was just getting back into the game and this bundle was great.
So glad I never threw all my progress away back in 2019 when so many said “start fresh, you will never catch up to fleet and squad arena”. Not only did I catch up I pushed into 217 in arena, and 64 in fleet.
Hope that others who got back into the game did not listen to bad advice to throw away hard work just to be in an easier shard.
Still, the grind is literally the game. If you had everything in the game what would be the point of playing? Same as any RPG really.

Damn I never realized the true impact the bundle has. That’s crazy. You don’t even have to complete the nodes. You can just start farming. Insane. Definitely the best value they’ve ever had in a bundle. I thought my droid bundle for five bucks was a steal back in the day. This is just nuts.

I started playing when sion was released and that was amazing to get him and this year spent farming, upgrading and getting those characters was something great and now when today I unlocked Darth revan I see how much time you can save by buying this pack xd

Dude I gotta thank you for this video, because I was tossing up whether to buy it last year and the videos I saw last year already had most characters and I assumed because it unlocked 3 - 5 chars it confused me on whether I could get 65 chars and yeah... I was lvl 40 or so now I’m lvl 72 but I still think it is still worth it for me to get this. So thank you for showing a brand new account getting it cause now I know exactly what it will give me... although it’s $169 for us here in australia

This is awesome! I love the insight and its cool to see that for once CG actually threw the players a bone. Also very pumped to see that if I get the disposable income I will be able to get my account a bit better with a bit of whaling, luckily its not to much, only a few g's
I’m a 4yr player and bought it. It still paid off with gear zeta mats, and shards, plus it reset quests that gave me more crystals and other supplies.

I’ve been f2p and around rank 100 basically since I started. I can’t imagine what it’s like for new players vs hyperdrive bundle but I know that with determination and a good guild, anything is possible

I was worried when I first saw this, but glad you are keeping the F2P account. For what it's worth, when they released the bundle my f2p alt was around level 77 so I didn't even take a look at it. I've seen a few people in arena and fleet that bought the pack, but it hasn't been that bad on my shard. The main reason I skipped it is because I bought it on my main to get the gear and it inflated my GP so bad that my first couple of GACs have been brutal. Also when you really think about it, it doesn't get you that far ahead. 5* and G8 really does nothing for end game or guild activities and you still have to level up all the ships and their gear. While it's targeted at helping new people catch up, I think it probably winds up confusing a lot of them since they suddenly have all these characters and squads and have no idea what to focus on. Even with everything unlocked, you still need to focus on a small group of characters if you're going to do well at end game. I've honestly been enjoying my alt account more than my main since it's F2p and I can focus on a smaller more streamlined roster. My Nightsisters I've basically been working on since the start do just fine even against the hyperdrive squads in arena. I'll be interested to see how your F2P account goes and look forward to the content you make on it.
Was level 81 and ended up getting it today. Even so close to max it’s worth it. So many heroes I didn’t have and the gear to boost them up

Played this game for 2 years on and off and was actually happy when the bundle came out. It helped me get back into it and gave me a boost for getting CLS. I never farmed any of the rebels necessary for it so the 5 star characters was a big help.
I paid for the bundle when I was a fairly high level and it still helped me. I think it is still worth it even for high levelled players due to getting shards that can be converted too.

Not gonna lie, this unmotivated me to play until I get the hyperdrive bundle. There’s no point in me just playing anymore if I can just get the bundle and get all these benefits
I started playing this game in September and I play daily and i am a small dolphin. I was cool with the hyperdrive bundle at first, I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to buy it, but it’s a company and they need to make money. after seeing what it’s done to my shard, I don’t even want to play this game anymore. What’s the point of grinding for months when someone with more disposable income can just buy their way to be MONTHS in front of me. I still haven’t unlocked the zeta mat challenge and am only level 83 and I’ve been playing for almost 6 months. I’m gonna keep trying for a few more weeks because I really love this game, but ultimately I don’t want to play a game that I don’t even have a chance to succeed... I am going to get ROCKED in grand arena in a few weeks and it’s just a shame how it turned out
But you are missing the CG plan. Get them to spend on a deal then they are more likely to continue to be a dolphin or whale out. It’s addicting. They are like drug dealers giving new customers a taste. But here if everyone got it free they wouldn’t feel like they have to spend. Once you open the wallet the first time it is easier and easier to open it up in the future.
I am about 4 months in on my account and f2p. I'm 41 vao shards away from JKR and starting work on DR. But I really don't have much on teams, mostly was just going for characters I like. But now I'm getting competitive and realized I wasted a lot of time and resources. After this video I'm definitely contemplating it to save time on the other teams

I guess I see F2P different than you do. Levels 1-85 are a different tier of the game and there's plenty to do for f2p that doesn't involve the endgame content. Seems kinda silly to be concerned about the top 15 Arena ranks before you've even beaten all the LS and DS missions, y'know?
I love the comparison, keep it up! I just wish you could have f2p arena shards would make it more competitive for f2p players, but I understand that if you pay you should get the advantage.

I've been playing since basically launch. Back when you were advising to get Luminara from GW because she was an OP healer. Galactic legends and all these new p2p events have just ruined the fun for me from this game. I am considering saving up money, starting a new account, and just getting the bundle so i can get the head start on ships that I never got on my main account. In all honesty, a Hyperdrive account can probably reach the new characters faster than my main account just by the amount of crystals they will be taking in from the arenas daily.
Started a new account and in my shard, the top 20 is full of those who bought the bundle. Basically impossible to get to top 20....😭
I think going through all this f2p is way more fun than just buying it. Ofcourse you‘ll be far behind in your Arena, but in GAC and TW you‘ll be still facing other spenders if you go hyperdrive. And as we all know - there is always somebody that spends more. So....The f2p is dead - long live the f2p!
If they were to put players who buy the bundle into their own shard that would be the #1 thing going in the right direction and I would no longer have any issues with it.
I think most people forget to mention the main problem with the hyperdrive bundle compared to a longer f2p or boosted account.
The ten zetas are no gift imo.
They re here to compensate what you wont get as leveling up.
And beyond that your GP is going through the roof while your squads are mostly naked, even with the materials you get in the pack.
So indeed you re stuck with the squads the bundle gives you.
Dont but this pack if you plan to level up BH or Geos for instance.
Cause this is gonna be even more GP, resulting in being really badly hurt in GaC as you ll face 700k optimized teams.
It makes you be able to participate in a lot of aspects of the game for sure but it ll ask for work after that.
Other than that, it ll give you a great advantage in ships.

He left out one of hte biggest advantages. being so much closer to 7* on a character means you can join a guild farming raids and get started on GK, Han, and Traya a month or more in advance.
There are hyperdrive bundle specific shards now.
In Europe prices are more than $99. It is $120 (459 pln) and this price is crazy here mainly due to currency conversion rate. For $360 you can rent a decent bedsit in a capital city, that is much more expensive than the rest of the country. I am sure that in smaller cities you can rent 2 bedroom flat for $250. One has to be insane to spend $120 for the game in this reality. I am sure GC could earn much more here if they adjusted prices to the market of this country.

I mentioned on the last video that i started an Alt account just before the Anniversary gift. Had they reworked Mace Windu properly I would have bought this bundle on my alt account. haven't spent a dime since.
There are two kinds of ppl who play mobile games:
1. Whales, who play to shine and to dominate. For them this bundle is a good headstart but still they will need to squeeze thousands later to stay competitive in the late game with some new meta etc. And if a person is ready to pay $100 just for a starter (even a really good one) bundle in the new game he sure was planning to spend some serious money there and he still would not be a match for f2p or a small spender even without that bundle (so no worries for them). CG with that offer just losing the larger money that guy would ve paid separately for the things in the bundle anyway.
2. F2P/small spenders, who play just for the game itself. For them to buy such bundle is just to lose the fun part of having a new player experience, steadily discovering new parts of the game, having the joy of some small campaign achievements or getting some new interesting heros etc.
Super cool, you do a great job of making your videos exciting btw (first video I’ve seen of you yours) I do want to say though I was thinking about getting it but it seems like buying this bundle would kinda ruin the fun of the climb and the replayability itch.

Can we get a shout out to hoarding early? You can intentionally not level to open the arena but farm up raid characters and characters from the guild store. You can also stock pile energy from your daily rewards to huge amounts for when you want to burst into arena :)
I agree that a lot of people can get sentimental about there favourite characters but that's to there disadvantage. When I started this game first thing I did was buckle down after listening to you ahnald and shooting for Pheonix. I think this bundle can be good if there are people who want to buckle down
