- A year ago today I released the first fight songs ranked video on my channel. A lot has happened in the world of conference realignment since then so for the anniversary of the fight songs ranked here, I bring you the newer Big 12.

Hands down the hardest ranking I’ve ever had to do. I don’t dislike any of these songs to be honest.
Great list! Iowa State could a little low, but overall nicely done with this list. Big 12 might have the best fight songs now, especially with the PAC12 additions.
I agree, I don’t think there’s one fight song in the Big 12 that I don’t like they’re all great!
Interesting. Cool to hear them all in one place. I have a bias against derivative songs, which some have shades of - though not as blatant as OU’s appropriation of Yale’s Boola Boola. I do have a bias for crowd interaction which is only apparent in a few, like my Cowboys 😅
The Big 12 has such great fight songs that fit the schools perfectly

I don’t think there’s a single bad fight song in this conference. I can tell this was difficult to rank.

As a longhorns fan I have to say TT has one of my favorite fight songs.
I’m Zona till I die, but Maroon and Gold is still a banger.
Also, I love how both our schools share colors with our state flag (another banger in a vexillogical sense)

Ngl Arizona state fight song not that bad. But they do need to get their football team right to go to a bowl game
I know this is personal opinion, but I feel like you should’ve put OSU higher, it’s the only one with a recognizable and rememberable melody, you could easily sing the ride em cowboy’s anthem while the others kinda all sound the same. But it’s personal opinion so I’m not going to bash you.
