DT is a great place to get items for "care packages" - things like lip balm and hand sanitizer are usually cheaper there than Walmart (which is usually better for socks, plus snacks, tissues, bottled water...). People really seem to like the socks - and it's such a simple thing. 🩷
Excellent idea not just on a Holiday, These people can barely eat daily if at all.. Whole families are homeless and forever growing they have small throws children and women men to can wrap around their shoulders, bag's for their things drinks good snacks too like you said... You'd be surprised with what they could use to comfort themselves... Books and little toys for children. Babies would use a lot of what they have there, animals too.
