I am not passing judgement! But there are two more things you need to do.
One: She needs a bath, once the black streeks start to show up from the window gaskets you need to get on it.
They will stain the paint and are very hard to get clean.
Two: You MUST also change the generator oil and filter. Last thing you want is to have that thing go out.
Happy Trails, looking fowared to the next adventures!

Wiper blades, you forgot wiper blades.
An old truckers tip is to keep your wheels painted white, a loose nut will show rust brown on your rims so you know to tighten them up.

Marge the Large is such a blessing for your life and purposes... Not only a house on wheels, but a home that can take you almost anywhere. Best move you have made thus far for your adventures! Cheers Adam!

If you had a small sledge and a hammer dolly you could probably get most of that dent out on the rear bumper. I was amazed I was able to work a dent out of a truck bumper like that! Felt or leather line the hammer and the dolly and it won't mar the finish too bad. Tell mike to start pre filling the oil filter when it is mounted North South! :D I started doing it ages ago, no more " engine chatter" from no oil for a second when you start the engine after the oil change. The whole Oil filter needs to be filled before oil gets to the bearings if you don't pre fill it.

When I was a kid I was always a fan of RVs. It just seemed so cool that you could go on adventures and have a home base with you for comfort, so when you got Large Marge it made me smile. Its nice to know Im not the only one with that mentality and adventurous spirit. Keep on being awesome, Adam!
PS- Make sure you check the carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm weekly. I hear those need to be checked often, and we want you safe!

As a car guy, and a Ford guy. It's good to see you using Motorcraft. I only use their old filters and air filters, sometimes a little more than some of the cheaper stuff, but worth it in the end. As the mileage creeps up, start using 5W-30, helps with a number of issues on the later V8's. I've had a few E series vans, loved them all.

Adam, You should look into getting a K & N air filter. you don't have to throw it away. you clean it when you change the oil. They have a cleaning solution and spray oil. it will get you better gas because it lets the vehicle breath better (more air) then a regular air filter and it's guaranteed for the life of large marge.

:) thank you for the tour of Large Marge! As you were opening the cabinets, I was reminded of the old Lucy & Desi movie The Long, Long Trailer when Lucy was trying to cook while Desi was driving & everything was falling out of the cabinets lol.

Mike is a smart guy using the Motorcraft parts for your ride. The synthetic blend oil that Ford makes is really good stuff. I believe that Ford says you can go 5,000 miles on that oil with no worries. Good idea changing the air and fuel filters as well, the Ford fuel filters have excellent filtering media and stop a lot of crud from getting to the injectors. I don't know if you have these or not but you should consider an emergency roadside kit and maybe a booster pack in case your battery goes dead for some reason.

with warm weather coming, get a tire gauge and check your tire pressures. keep them at proper pressure in your tires, it will help with gas mileage and keep you from having a blow out due to low pressure. but get a gauge with a dual head gauge. so you won't have no trouble checking your dual wheels

It's such an amazing Blessing to see people who have Friends that will come to your aide in a time of need. I wish I had a single Friend that I could call on or most of all count on. But seems that everyone as far as I am concerned is always in need. But when I'm in need no one can ever find the time to lend a hand.

Best to use CLEAN oil to lube the new oil filter gasket. The dirty oil coming out of the oil pan has particles that can get between the oil gasket and oil pan and cause a leak. Just saying. Nice to have a friend to help.

considering everything i suggest going back to more small family owned or just old school attractions. checkout festivals, sports hall of fames, old theme parks and anything that catches your eye. for example in the north east one of my favorite festivals would be either the NH highland games or the topsfield fair. for theme parks i would suggest story land and canobie lake park. now of course when your talking of hall of fames, deffienetely another trip to cooperstown, the hockey hall of fame, basketball hall of fame and finally going back to most of our childhoods the bmx hall of fame.

just a little something ive learned,, advanced, AZ, O'rilleys are very expensive on oil, heres a tip, go to Walmart, Motocraft oil is like 16.95 for the 5 quart size, also, you can take a pic of the price, and go to AZ etc, and they will match the price, , anywho, nice to see service being done

11:06 - Motorcraft synthetic blend is fine, me I would recommend going to a good full synthetic like Mobil 1 (doesn't have to be the Extended Performance version) or Pennzoil Platnium, or Amsoil. Worth the extra coin to go full synthetic, you can extend your oil change interval a little longer, but just like any regular or semi-synthetic oil, check the oil level every so often and top off if necessary.

Have been watching you for sometime, but recently been looking at buying an RV and was looking at the same make, model and company that you purchased. So even though you are not an RV channel and that's great, I do passively watch to see how Large Marge is holding up. Have an Orlando trip planned for June, so watch you and many of your local youtube friends for trip ideas. if ever in Memphis area, have open driveway.

The OCD mechanic in me was curious why he didn't tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern (alternating opposite sides) as opposed to sequentially in a clockwise motion, like he did here. Maybe he already did it that way with his air tool at first so, after that when used the torque wrench it doesn't matter? (Damn, my grammar is awful today. :P ) This one goes out to all the "car guys and gals" out there. ;) :P Just a friendly inquiry! No snark intended! heheheheh. ;) :D
Loved the "tour" of Large Marge's "nether regions"! Keep on truckin', Adam! Can't wait to see where the winds blow thee next! :D

If you put a 2x4 piece of wood on the bumper and then hit the wood with a sledge hammer you can get the bumper pretty close to how it's supposed to be. The wood distributes the pressure from the hammer to a wider area plus it won't damage your paint from the metal of the hammer to the metal of the bumper.

Hope to see you make your way up to Michigan sometime this summer. Love seeing where you will go next. I like seeing parts of America I would never see unless I was on a trip like this. Thank you for your journey Adam. Look forward to see where you head next.

My first thought on that cloud formation: Klingon Bird-of-Prey. ;-)

I'm with ya on the lack of mechanic skills. Only so much room in my brain for movies, music and other hobbies that I didn't make room for car mechanics but God bless those that did. Always good to have an honest mechanic.

I like the bent bumper. It adds character to Large Marge.

Agreed! Because when someone asks Adam how he got it he can tell them about "The worst accident I ever seen!"

That cloud definitely looks like it has a head with a beak on the right. Sorta like a vulture.

Hey Adam, there a lot of great campgrounds across the country. It might be fun to park at one and spend a few days. You could use all of Large Marge's features.
