How Is The Water Level At Crystal Lake?

The return to Crystal Lake in the Angeles National Forest at the top of Highway 39 (San Gabriel Canyon Road). From green pond to beautiful lake again!
It has been four years since I was at Crystal Lake and filmed the super low water level and it is amazing how nice it looks now!

I took the kids fishing here when they were small many years ago... pretty place and it does get snowed in

Nice looking lake. You should investigate the legend of Tiburcio Vásquez, a notorious Californio bandit who operated in the area during the mid-to-late 19th century. Vásquez and his gang were known for robbing stagecoaches, ranches, and settlements in Southern California, including areas around Los Angeles County. The surrounding region has a rich history of banditry and outlaw activity.
There are stories of hidden caches of gold or loot from stagecoach robberies scattered throughout Southern California. These tales often involve bandits burying or hiding their stolen goods in remote or rugged areas to avoid detection.
