Im toting feed to my stand right now.but now i have to sit down take a lusk archery adventures break. Nothing better than 2 weeks before bow season walking thru the woods and john throws a new broadhead video out!! Life is good!
I’ve been waiting on you to test this head. I shoot the 100 grain model. Harvested 2 does last fall with it and both fell within sight and had great blood trails. Mine shoot exactly like my field tips. The blades need tightened before taking to the field, they’re not that loose as shown in the video. Great test! Thank you!
I like it! Very nicely designed. They remind me of the old Ramcat broadheads I used years ago. Those were super accurate, deep penetrating broadheads but I had some blade break on deer when bone was hit so I quit using them. This design seems more stout and still penetrates very well and is very sharp from the factory.
Yes, I was waiting for you to review this one. I think I asked you for it not too long ago.. I have the 100gr. It flies pretty goog for me. This year I'll be using the kayuga trizot but if I'm able to have an opportunity at a doe I'll try using the hemmorage. Thanks for another great review.
Impressive performance! My only concern would be the movement of the main blades possibly affecting accuracy if they became uneven or somehow changed position.
@@LuskArcheryAdventures I have some of these heads and as shown in the video, the retention screw is loose and needs tightened. They are not supposed to flop around like that. As the blades fold back when removed from the target, the screw gets loose..
One thing that gets over looked is the angle of attack on these short heads. If you put the tip straight down on a table and lean it till the the table makes contact with the blade, that’s the maximum angle you can shoot and be confident the tip makes contact before the blade. Of the blade contacts first there is a chance it can slide or not penetrate exactly as the arrow was placed . This head looks like it wouldn’t lean far before making contact with the blade first.
It never fails to make me cringe when you tag the cinder block 😆 An aside, have a 250-300 lb black bear coming in. Think me and the Matthew's with some 125gr Magnus Snuffers will try to make a introduction in a couple weeks
My understanding is that there is no advantage to convex blades, both aerodynamically and for cutting performance. Is there an advantage to convex blades that I don't know about?
@@LuskArcheryAdventures In what sense? Some of Ashby's tests showed that straight blades cut better than convex, while some other test show that slightly concave blades are best. A convex blade like that will certainly be a little more durable. But how do they gain any cutting performance?

Haha. Thanks for watching :)
That's a cool looking little head. I always like to see something new and different
Yeah, me too.

Okay.
I've never seen a design like this. It's almost a half and half. Pretty wicked.
Yep.

Always good to see a new video by Lusk!! So many choices, love how John says it’s up to you to decide if you like a broadhead.
Amen. Thanks for watching.
Great stuff like usual. Look forward to the next one
Thanks.

Good looking head. Competitively priced too!
Thanks for watching.
Love these heads already got some for this season
Nice.Thanks for watching.
That durability really surprised me, cool broadhead great test.
Yep.

Yeah, that could potentially happen. But it’s not hard to make sure they’re in place. And they’re pretty stiff to move.

😮😮😮 Pretty impressive. Ty John.
Thanks for watching.
I appreciate the work you put into these reviews. I shoot a light setup so I don't think this ones for me.
Okay.Thanks for watching.
The owner of Black Flack archery is a great guy. Enjoyed talking with him at TAC in Georgia.
Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching.
Hope to see you test the beast soon.
Already has
@@timmytim6427 awesome. I glanced through his videos and didn’t see it. I’ll look closer
@@timmytim6427 thank you
@@timmytim6427 found it. In the 23 tests.
I've already tested it. I will test the newer models when they are released.
That is a tuff little head....with a nice cut dia. I would like to see how it does on WHITETAILS this season.. time will tell. 😊
Yep.

Interesting argument. I hadn't thought of that exactly but makes perfect sense.
Yeah, but the way the blades curve downward makes the angle of impact pretty extreme, to cause a problem.

Have a few friends that used them . Whitetail deer were dropping insight.
Thanks.
Reminds me of the Hera broadhead
Some similarities.
Do the moving blades make any noise in your quiver?
I've not hunted with them, but I didn't hear any noise at all when playing around with them.
This head looks awesome. But accuracy to me is the first box that needs checked….snd unfortunately this one fell short in that category
Okay.

The benefits are slight, but are real.

Any plans on testing this head in the field?
Not at this point. Just too many heads to take them all on hunts. But this is an intriguing head.
needs a longer thinner tip.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Ranch fare y single bevle 200
