I'm doing setup before arriving in the country I'm traveling to. On sign up, I got a message asking me if I want to activate my "Personal Number". Is this the Airalo number? Because there's another choice on the Mobile Service screen of my iPhone and that is "Used as Travel" (no number). Is that the Airalo eSim? There's also a choice to "Add eSim". Do I choose that when I arrive at my destination?
Hello there! When you install your eSIM, it's possible that the device gives it a default label such as Personal or Travel. To check which one is your eSIM, you may go to Settings > General > About, and scroll down to see which line shows the ICCID that matches your eSIM. For us to be able to fully understand your current setup, please reach out via chat on the Airalo app or website. This way, we can further check and provide more detailed information.
Hi @Kushal6831, Thank you for your feedback. We will be glad to help you stay connected while you are abroad! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if in case you need further assistance.
Is it possible to install everything when I get to that other country? The person is not that tech savvy so they would have to get to the destination and then do it?
Hi there! Yes you can still install the eSIM even when you're already at the destination country. However, please note that a stable internet connection is needed for the installation, so please make sure you have access to one for the installation. If you have other concerns, you can also reach out via chat on the Airalo app or website.
not sure whether I understand it. I installed the Airolo e-sim card, and when I get to my destination I put my sim card off, and my e-sim card on and it automatically finds the right network. Is this correct? I try to contact the helpdesk, but there is a loop and I return every time I try to the FAQ's section and not to the helpdesk.
Hi @florencejewelshop4634! That's right. Upon arriving at your destination, please enable the Airalo eSIM. We recommend turning off your primary line to avoid charges from your home carrier. To access data using the Airalo eSIM, you can turn data roaming on or off depending on your package. You can find this information on your eSIM page on our app, or contact us if you need further clarification.
Hi I bought the card, and when I arrived at my destination I was sent a message from the company that it was activated (which did not work) I do not want to judge them but it seems like a robbery what they are doing. It seems to be a robbery what they are doing. I do not recommend it, I tried everywhere to activate it. It did not work. When I bought it I activated it and was told that when I got there it would be ready. It did not work.

Son just downloaded airalo the 20 gb data for the month in Switzerland and it’s not working
Hi, please contact support@airalo.com for help troubleshooting 🙏
Well, it would help if the airalo shop would not default to 'data only', and I would not throw money out the window for nothing

scamers
They aren’t scammers. I’ve used Airalo esims on my iPhone for several trips and it has worked perfectly every single time, with zero issues
