This is incredible❤️.. I had to subscribe. Leopards are my favorite and this has inspired me to paint a leoperd, which I may try watercolor.. Great drawing and keep I up the great work!!
@@StudioWildlife my favourite is pen and ink, but portraits and animals are great to do, just finished a oil painting portrait, thank you so much for answering back love your work
You have a big heart to share your techniques, bless you. That is amazing. Would love to see a close up of how you do the layering. What paper and colours are you using, links if possible.
Thanks! I'll post real time video of the process soon and make sure to do some close ups. I've now put links to the materials I used in the video description for you.
Is it hard to adjust to wearing a glove while drawing or creating art? An interesting approach I have never seen before. I usually just put an extra piece of paper under my hand so I don’t smudge my work
An amazing leopard! I've started to work with soft pastels and pastel pencils. Ik really love working with them. What do you use to finish of the drawing, to prevent it from smudging once it is finished?
I don't really seal them with anything. The pastelmat paper i use seems to hold the colours very well and I frame them behind glass pretty soon after they are done.
Hi, 40 year old wanna-be drawer here. I made some ok drawings, but have lost my mojo and apparently also the little talent I used to have. Your video gave me an itch, I want to pick up my pastel pencils again now. You make it look so easy to do and I just know that when I try it, I end up with a big piece of mud. Either way, really want to give it a try again. Some questions though, if you don't mind? 1. what size of paper are you working on, is it comparable to A4 (don't know the sizes of Pastelmat by heart at the moment)? 2. what color Pastelmat do you suggest to use for animal portraits? 3. how can you learn which colors to use (both as blocking colors as colors coming on top)? I have a serious problem with this. Thanks! Evy
The size im working on in this video is just a bit smaller than A4 its 20cm x 30cm I actually cut it from a 30 x 40cm pad of pastelmat that I have. I got a pad with loads of different colours and I haven't found one any better than the other. I would stay away from white though. I struggle with the colours too especially when painting. With pastels its easier because you only have certain colours to choose from and I just grab the closest one to what I need. With acrylics i spend a lot of time trying to correct my colours using glazes. I take a photograph of my painting and compare it to my reference photo to see which colours i need to alter. This is a process that can sometimes take hours or even days once the main parts of the painting are completed. Hope this helps! Daniel
I love it! thank you for your tips💜! currently painting a tiger in acrylics! My first tiger. What was the website for the non copyright reference photos? I missed it with your accent!
I'd like to see a tutorial of a painting a leopard in acrylics. I'm new to acrylic painting I used to paint with watercolours. But I prefer acrylics now and it's the opposite to painting with watercolours where you go from light to dark whereas acrylics is working from dark to light. I've got a painting of a leopard in a tree that I got from pixabay. I've painted the background and now I'm about to start the leopard.
Hi my name is Jim Carpenter, I’m a portrait artist (pets/people) I also sell my own pieces in local galleries. I won’t put my web url on here (that’s a bit cheeky). Just to say that I love your channel and I have one question: where can I get the gloves?
I love the leopard drawing, but it's really difficult to hear what you are saying over the music, which is unpleasantly loud. It seems that music is unnecessary when you are speaking throughout the video to impart knowledge to your viewers. It worked in the full length, real time video, but not when you are speaking.
Beautiful painting. Thanks for the practical advice too❤
Your skills are fantastic... amazing job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a helpful tutorial. Thank you so much.
A true Artist. Thank you

Excellent work, I use any medium, I think it's a great way to learn 🎨
Me too I like to try a bit of everything. I’ve never really done sculpture though so that’s going to be my summer plan during my holiday

Honestly it’s the first time I’ve done it using a glove but it seemed to work pretty well and It didn’t feel any different to not wearing one

How do you keep your pastel pencils sharp enough to give you fine lines
Thanks for your comment, I have just uploaded a quick video to answer this and show you how I do it
Awesome work! What brand of materials did you use?
Thank you ! Ive just added links to all of the materials i used in the video description

Y el dibujo del animal con todas sus manchas?? como apareció??😮
In my realistic art I draw ball

Yes this is one of my earlier videos where I was learning how to do the editing, my more recent videos have a much better music to voice over level
