  • In this video, I give you a look around the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and village, then some footage while onboard the ferry to Langdale.
The video ends with a 360-degree view from the pretty little harbor on Gibson's landing.

This video actually has me missing waiting for the ferry in Horseshoe Bay. When we weren't locked down, it was kind of a nice way to spend a summer afternoon. Get your car in line, walk over to a restaurant, and have a meal while enjoying the sunshine and the view. There are worse ways to wait your turn! :)

Ray, it's great to watch your older videos, before this Covid nightmare. When times were good. People smiled at each other shook hands and were just genuinely happy. God I hope we get back to those days. Thanks for the memories. Cheers from Parksville.🍻

Thank you for showing us this ferry tale video. It was quite spectacular, as I have never been near BC. Also, we got to see the rare glimpse of Anne in front of a lens.

Pretty easy to take our spectacular scenery for granted. Thanks for the video and the reminder.

We have been loving these videos on the ferries! Have you ever put out a video on what a newbie should expect taking ferries and the process to book a ferry etc? That would be something that we would be interested in. Thanks for sharing.

Kind of neat being a tourist in your home area. Revisiting childhood places. Did that once on a return trip to San Diego many years ago.

We were in Horseshoe Bay in June, and started dreaming about an RV trip up the pacific coast some time in the future. Love it!

Loved the beachcombers too. I wish they had preserved nick and relic's boats there. I asked about them when I was there years ago. Apparently relics boat was still working going after logs and nicks was in a barn some where.
