This is so satisfying to hear Barnes sing this again.
It so cool to hear chris sing his songs from cannibal corpse
He WAS CANNIBAL HIMSELF
I loved cannibal corpse as chris was singer. First albums were, nope, ARE the best!
Chirs founded it , so he is cannibal corpse
He is the original Singer from Cannibal Corpse
Much better than corpsegrinder
Chris could knock someone out with his dreads
Chris kicks FUCKING AS ON THIS ONE
That shit has to be a weave.
Yeah, the smell alone is enough to prob enough knock someone out
They’re six feet long!
True.Sick dreads. The only other guy with similair hair that i can think of is brian fair the singer of Shadow's fall.
It’s good to see Chris Barnes sing old CC classics
Even with his voice going, Barnes still crushes it, nobody can do early cc like him
I might've not been alive to hear him sing in CC, but I completely agree with you.
I disagree. Listening to this and then listening to Corpsegrinder sing the early CC songs live... Corpsegrinder sounds a hell of a lot more like the actual album versions than Barnes does here.
Regardless it is really cool to see Barnes sing it again.
Barnes always sounded like shit and only gets worse. Corpsegrinder is infinitely better.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. XD
Low does not equate to good. Barnes sucks, both as a decent human being and as a vocalist.
It always nice to see playing a death metal song using a Stratocaster hahahaha
I love Rob head banging (trying to) with no hair and a bald spot. I love that him and Trevor Perez both use strat-style guitars in death metal!
Hard to believe CB has been with 6FU 3 maybe 4 times longer than he was in CC
Yet for some goddamn reason my stupid idiot brain can't disconnect him from CC.
Seriously. I don't like Corpsegrinders voice (I can't sit down and listen to a whole album with him. And I fucking TRIED), so I go straight for the Chris era shit. Specifically The Bleeding.
Xiaxs Dave mustaine’s voice sounds like someone’s fondling his balls everyone hears something different
@@hioeo MAAAN YOU ARE MY BROTHER FROM NOW ON,,,,COME LET ME GIVE YOU A HUG
Chris Barnes era Cannibal Corpse was much better than the Corpsegrinder material, not just because of Chris doing the Vocals. The production on their later albums is annoying, the drums are way too loud and fake sounding, the guitars sound like keyboards, and the Vocals sound like a digital robot. Especially the Kill album. Death Metal Albums all sound like a totally different style of music today. Only the Slam Brutal Death Metal actually sounds anything like Death Metal used to
I can't stop thinking of Jim Carrey doing that dance........ lol
Excuse me is Frank Here?............Thank you!
I gotta go guys... I gotta date.... WITH YOUR MOTHERS!!!
CALM CHOWDER!
Excuse me is frank here (guy keeps head banging) thank you
The night i went with my friends to see Pet Detective, i happened to be wearing the Butchered at Birth long sleeve. All my friend were looking at me, because few of them were really digging Cannibal. I had a big shit eating grin on my face.
Man even in Six Feet Under he fucking destroys it. Still love both versions with Chris and George. If only we could get them in a duet...
Groovy Dude that would be motherfucking sick dude!!!
How about Six Feet Under and Cannibal Corpse on the same damn stage?
@@XanderMetalHead Это будет супер
@@XanderMetalHead as cool as it would be it most likely would never happen
excellent audio
I feel bad for the bassist but he did great even with a pick and I love C.B. and G.F. the got amazing vocals and the drummer is amazing
Oh shit! They got themselves a good drummer! Finally.
Chris Kiefer its kevin talley from dying fetus
Prefer G... but I am partial
@@kinpastor1640 ooooh great band. They always have amazing drummers
@@kinpastor1640 Fuck yeah it is!
This song deserves the Nobel Price
I love this version
Chris Barnes is one of my top 3 dm singers easy
do you have ears?
EEEEEEEE
IT'S EXCELLENT
GREAT CB
Hammer Smashed Face is like 'Its about time .. WTF have you been Barnes'? LOOL!
Omg, so beautiful ♥
They played this song last night in Hollywood... and that's when my ribs got bruised. Chris is the shit man, they even did a Crystal Mountain cover.
Is Crystal Mountain the Brutal Death Metal band from Greenland that only does songs about Meth ?
@@godetonter4764 no death is the band, crystal mountain is the song
@@sawyertilley6209 I have been familiar with Death for 15 years I have had all their albums and reissues also. The question was about the Greenland Brutal Death Metal band from 1989 called Crystal Mountain, they were called Crystal Mountain 10 or 11 years prior to the Symbolic Death song. I don't know if Death had written the song because of the band. I assumed that someone had mentioned the fact that some band covered a Crystal Mountain song, even though that would be extremely rare. Crystal Mountain only recorded 1 album in 1991 ,and was never available other than import. You have to be Kvlt ASF and as cool as I am . You won't find that some dipshit uploading them on TH-cam. Their albums were out of print since 1992. It pisses me off that albums like Baphomet - the Dead Shall Inherit can be found by anyone on TH-cam. THE Metal scene used to be just for a chosen few. Now Whigga Jugalos, short hair dweeb types, amd and even jarhead skinheads are allowed. This is ruining the scene
@@godetonter4764 sorry, I’ve only been listening to metal for a couple of years. I’m thirteen. But interesting sounding band though
@@sawyertilley6209 some of what I said was joking. I am not an Elitist
Man great version
Matt Devries truly has the best hair in the game. Such a majestic Mane.
It's ashame what happened there with Chimaira and now that Matt doesn't really do anything music wise
Blloooody awesome
This is some heavy music
3 fifths of a Chimaira lineup!
Just realized that this lineup of SFU is half of the 2004-2006 lineup in Chimaira.
kevin talley will always be my favourite sfu drummer
Luv the atitude of Rob A. he have such a great feeling and his playing is very decontracted !
was in 2011... sounds fucking good.
NAH FUCK YEAH CHRISES SCREAM AT THE END SENT CHILLS STRAIGHT DOWN ME, THE WORLD WOULDNT HANDLE IF CHRIS HAD HIS OLD VOICE, STUFF LIKE THAT SCREAM AFTER ALL THESE YEARS IS WHY HES THE MAN
Great!!!!
O cara é foda
saw the bassist live with fear factory back in august, isnt he the old chimaira dude? same with the left guitar dude?
Rob Arnold and Matt devries from Chimaira
4:37 love it
Chris fuckin Barnes 💯
i know mr.fisher is a really damn good vocalist, but CB created this song... always good to see the originator going back to memory lane. he's more like Chuck Mosley of cannibal corpse, battered, bruised and washed up but still had what it takes to fuckin kill at stage!!!
Sounds really good 👍👍👍
4:38 sick
Kevin Talley is a beast.
It's so cool to listen to Chris singing it again! (however, CC is better playing it)
Its very nice )))
love the strat
ESP ;)
+Tool APC you mean P . O . S

That crowd pop once Chris said "Hammer Smashed F***in Face!!!".
No wonder that song is a death metal anthem.
Every time Chris headbangs it looks like a swarm of flies trying to stay on the merry go round!
Thanks bro!!!
mi banda favorita
Rob Arnold rly true man!
Super!!!
raw
Kevin Talley has drummed for just about every band at this point
Dudes a fucking beast. Love watching his slayer auditions
Fukn right!
When I hear this song I picture Jim Carrey dancing in the crowd, lol
Chris should be allowed to play any CC song he wrote the lyrics too. I would love for them to a re-recorded cd of Tomb of the Mutilated. The drummer is way better and faster than Paul of CC and something about Steve is way better than Bob. I would love to see Jack join SFU.
Kevin Talley vs Paul is comparing apples to oranges.
Alex webster is the best musician of CC
pat is the best but yeah Steve's pretty bad ass
Dean Humble who's with
Wish
Agito Yoshiro you got your with jack did join six feet under
SSSUUUPPPEEERRR!!!
Chris just always sounds so perfect🤒🤘His voice is like an expensive cigar🐺☠️🔥
You deaf bro? He sounds like he's got an expensive cigar stuffed down his throat nowadays
@@trevorphilips9484 even better🐓
marco is an incredible addition to six feet under, but kevin talley provided a sound that just fit the band perfectly
New folks kinda suck...
Miss Terry and Greg
Only death metal band i can fall asleep to
Ха-ха согласен
bass is very good even
Human target at the beginning
ME GUSTA
Fuck yeah!
...this version has a more original feeling than the one performed by the current Cannibal Corpse...respect to Chris Barnes...a real singer that writes his own lyrics!!!!
T.M.B DISTRIBUTION he’ll yeah
what are you talking about? George might mumble to save his voice, but at least you can hear him... which is more than i can say for Barnes here
what song was that that they were starting to play at the beginning? OH found it... human target
1:19 the struggle
mesterwills he’s using a pic haha, it’s a lot better using your fingers on a bass
Brother Chris!
Makes you miss good ole TB, and G money thou.....
🖤🖤🖤🤘🤘🤘 Fucking BRUTAL🤘🖤🤘 Chris Barnes...Legendary🤘🖤🤘🖤🤘
Crowds just going insane I love it
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Kevin Talley ⚡️⚡️
and also mat divries the olg guitarist from chimaira on bass
even though i think corpsegrinders voice fits cannibal corpse better, barnes has a unique voice
I like corpsegrinder better with cannibal corpse but I think Chris Barnes doing vocals for early six feet under was better than any cannibal corpse
As much as I respect my fellow Cannibal Corpse & Six Feet Under fans, I have to disagree. Butchered at Birth, Tomb of the Mutilated, and the Bleeding are CCs best albums to date. One thing I've found is that depending on the album that you listened to that caused you to fall in love with Cannibal Corpse is usually going to be your favorite. And that determines which singer you prefer. Does this hold true for you?
Alan Grey I agree that those are cannibal corpse’s best albums, But I think that they would be even better if corpsegrinder did vocals on them. The bleeding Chris definitely does better because he used a vocal style more similar to that on the six feet under albums
Lord Zaber #2 I think that may have been production issues. Chris sings extremely deep and gutteral which lowers his volume. I think this is why his voice is lost at times on Butchered and Tomb but is nice and clear on the Bleeding. Just an educated theory. I hear SFUs Bringer of Blood among other songs and I hear the voice of Cannibal Corpse. I have seen both in concert a few times and they are both brutal, but again I prefer Barnes. I also loved Chris's lyrical contributions and that made a huge impact on a lot of Cannibal Corpse fans. Now to be fair I will share some comparisons where George wins. Chris has nothing on George when it comes to vocal power, nobody does. If George had not been the one chosen to replace Barnes idk if I'd still be a CC fan. Whew! That was hard for me to say. Anyway. George has no vocal power loss when singing at a fast pace. It's just absolutely brutal. Chris's vocals suffer the faster he sings, which I believe is the #1 reason they parted ways. I'm not against CorpseGrinder, I just prefer the deeper vocals of Barnes. A style choice. It's funny tho, I'm a guitarist and most of the time I could care less about vocals. Hope to talk again in the future. Take care, my Cannibal Corpse brother.
@@iaksakkak1006 I can agree with that. Even Chris's pig squeals were good on Tomb. There are a lot of people that say Chris's voice isn't what it used to be. He sounds fine to me, but I'm just a guitarist. What did I know?!. His pig squeals have suffered tho, that's for sure. Anyway, my vocalist said his voice has changed because of those pig squeals. He called it "vocal fry" and said it can ruin your voice. He exclaimed vocal fry can cause scar tissue to form on the vocal folds. It can damage your voice so badly that you can even lose your voice completely. Scary stuff.
HAMMER SMASH F'N FACE!!!!!
He faced a smashed hammer.
You can do play that when Kevin Talley is your drummer. Way to go to represent San Antonio 👍
Yeah! original vocalist....
Nobody does it like Chris Barnes!!!!!!
They should play more cannibal corpse songs. of course the ones when he used to sing for. c.c.
🤘 Rob Arnold
Nah, nah, nah. I FEEL LIKE PLAYING THIS SHIT!
FUCKING GREAT
evergreen lyric sONg :))

ate a forma de cantar muda. cannibal esta em seu DNA.... mas cantou no modo sfu.
fucking good noise
Holy #@$%
@alsem333 : Human Target
THank you. People you're talking about bs when the song started with Human Target and the Song is Called Hammer Smashed Face um
He may kill the vocals, but no one can windmill like Corpsegrinder 🤘
Idk once Chris gets those dreads to spinning it's pretty badass. George has him beat in the speed department for obvious reasons if Chris tried to go that fast he'd rip those dreads straight out of his head but in my opinion in terms of coolness Chris beats George out. George's windmill has always kinda looked goofy to me and is a gimmick whereas Chris's aren't.
Is that Rob Arnold on guitar??
yeah
What was the song before they plays hsf??
Aman121998 Human Target
Is that rob from chimaira or am I dumb
lol... you're not dumb
En ese entonces era un SUPERGRUPO... ROB ARNOLD, MATT DEVRIES, KEVIN TALLEY 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
death metal hymn
See for me, always preferred CC earlier material with Chris but I prefer them live with corpsegrinfer if that makes sense? Barnes vocals were and always will be fucking gnarly though, one of my all time favourite gutteral vocalists!
why did he stop the first song they started playing? it sounded pretty brutal
omg whats the name of the song they open with??????????
La carrera discografica de six feet under si cannibal corpse nunca hubiera existido: ⚰️
Here's the thing. I like both eras of Cannibal Corpse. I think both vocalists fit the music in very different ways. Be that as it may, Chris Barnes simply doesn't have the power or the control that George does. George, vocalist to vocalist, is much better. He just is.
Geroge Fischer is also 200 pounds fatter
Oh yea they have different styles. But George is in his own category. I mean the guy practically raps when he growls. Idk how the fuck he does it.
Blake Garner You are the biggest fucking moron and poser
ADS 666 i have to agree with you he is a fucking idiot!
There's no way Corpse Grinder is better than Barnes.
@Rattlehead636 lol ... I know.
