I do not know if anyone has posted this yet but the broken plates and ceramics you can sell as a lot. People who do mosaics can use those broken pieces to make art work. Also jewelry makers will buy broken jewelry and repurpose it and make new jewelry with the components. I know I would be interested in them. Hope these suggestions help. Sometimes older "smalls", little knick knacks from Japan can be worth something. If you find things marked Occupied Japan they could be very collectable. I have a silver bracelet dated in the 1940s from Italy that was in a vintage sewing box that I paid $3 for at an estate sale in Alabama. With regard to tankards and glasses - if the bottom of the tankards and the feet of the glasses show some wear, it means they are quite to very old and possibly quite to very valuable.
Some ceramic and porcelain tankard will show a picture at the bottom if you point the bottom at a light and look inside it. These are quite rare and often very valuable.

  • @cherylross2718

The Conair massager is for the face. Also, the glass bowl you shoved to the side and didn't really show could be worth $. It was hard to tell, but if it's Cornflower pattern it's highly collectable.

Don't forget - with those old TVs, if all else, take them apart for the copper coils, etc. in them. Turn them in to the metal places that take in old metal stuff. The copper is worth money. The same with old electrical cords - they're worth more money if you strip the covering from wires for the metal, you don't get as much for 'dirty' wires.
