Something like this would be a cheaper alternative: amzn.to/3KsTwaD Bio hat is strictly for soil improvement. I’ll do Balanced a little close to March or mid March. Don’t want to wake it up too early. I expect another freeze or two.
@@SunnyBermuda I'm located in Belgium and in western europe all products like post or pre emergent are not allowed to be sold to individuals. You have to be a professionnel with a licence etc. Even pro can't use every products you have in USA.
From my studies it’s one of the best preemergents for poa annua. Tough root pruner. I only use it in Fall/Winter when Bermuda is dormant. Use prodiamine in Spring/Summer.
Hey Sunny, I'm in GA and I have poa, a bit of crabgrass, and other broad leaves. I did scotts preemergent in the fall, but still have weeds. I aerated last week, raked, and applied scotts turf builder summer food. I'm on a tight budget but I would like to get rid of the weeds. Where do you recommend I start?
I’d recommend establishing a good preemergent calendar/plan. A good plan is typically 4 applications a year. If you want to tackle the weeds head to a local Siteone and ask about a bottle of Celsius Xtr or try the Celsius/Certainty combo. A bit expensive but the bottles will last several years. That help?
@@SunnyBermuda Hope all is well! I am getting ready to purchase the certainty/celsius combo to apply it in the next couple of weeks. Do you recommend that I apply a granular or liquid preemergent? How long after the tenacity/celsius combo application do you recommend I start putting down the preemergent?
@@tonydavila8826 You can put down Pre-Emergent at the same time if you use granular. I'd recommend spraying the Celsius/Certainty combo first. Wait a few days then spray Prodiamine and water it in. I've found that liquid Pre-Emergent works best, but the granular is ok. I typically have to apply heavy with granular to get good coverage. You mentioned Tenacity in your comment. Hope that was a mistake as Tenacity will damage Bermuda. It's a cool season herbicide.
Great job Sunny 🌞 😎..enjoyed it 👍🏾

I put down barricade and now wished I scarified my thatch layer first. 🤦♂️ I’m a rook learning though.
