Definitely my favorite track on this album, the lyrics are hard to make out but I know most of them by heart. I'd type them out, but I still can't understand some and it would look very messy and unorganized. Sorry :(
This song is very weird, and is also a remix of a song called "Cosmic Eternity", the ending song of Sonic CD.

I always heard the ‘vital meaning’ part as

That opening really is magical. I’ve loved Cosmic Eternity for 13 years since I heard it and I’m finally just now hearing this! interesting and I like it!
I don't know why but I imagine a credits sequences showing some Sonic's moments from S1,S2, S3&K and SCD in that orden while this music plays.
Yeah I know CD takes place between S1 and S2 (stupid retcon) but for me this song feels like a goodbye to our cute and heroic blue hedgehog.

And it made sense mainly because Metal Sonic from CD was an updated version of the Mecha Sonic boss from S2

Cosmic Eternity is my favorite track of the classic era.
It feels like a Goodbye to Classic Sonic.
It starts sad and melancholic but changes into a more optimistic "keep going" tone.

A great remix from the Daytona USA legend.
Sorry, but Mitsuyoshi had no part in this. The track is arranged by game composer Naofumi Hataya (credited as "hata-bow") and the "yasu" credited on the album is someone else entirely, as confirmed by Hataya himself (though he did originally intend for Mitsuyoshi to perform vocals on this album).

Dr robotnik's ring racers - Joypolis course brought me here
knew the song long ago, really happy to hear it in that track! especially the. custom track intro helps make joypolis special, havent gotten all tracks but for now im considering it DRRR's rainbow road!
Along with the original, this would've been awesome in both Sonic mania and Smash bros Ultimate.
Unfortunately I think there may be some legal concerns, even regarding the originals. The Christian Whitehead remasters notably did not include the original Japanese opening and ending, instead opting for instrumentals (which while cool, are still a significant downgrade imo.)
@@melon6444 I could be wrong, but I think I remember hearing they've since resolved those disputes. They just never bothered to update CD 2011 to put the originals back in. I guess we'll know for sure once Sonic Origins comes out.

I somehow have nostalgia for this song, and I've only heard it a few weeks ago. It's so cheesy and "engrish-y" but that's part of it's charm.
Also I see why this was chosen for the Joypolis course in DRRR. It perfectly fits a colorful shopping center. You can easily imagine this song blasting in the background of a mall in the early 90's.
