How To change Output Voltage of Laptop Chargers in Hindi

- In this video i am going to show you how you can Change Output Voltage of Laptop Charger, you can convert 19 Volt to 5 volts, 12 volts, 25 volts and 24 volts, you can make whatever you want using a potential meter and if you wanted fix Voltage, set your desire Voltage by potential meter and measure resistance of potential meter, then remove potential meter and use fixed resistor.
Friends Don't Forget to change the output capacitor when increasing Voltage, it is very compulsory, otherwise your charger will blast like a bomb.

Great info, works flawlessly. If you want any constant voltage like 12 volts, for example, replace that resistor with a 6.8k ohms one
Sorry, you have to account for cable/connector resistance plus load to come up with an accurate resistor value. So if you take the value at 12V at idle, when you connect the load the voltage could drop below 11v, which is pointless.

You should try it with the load connected. Other wise the resistor value you choose based on Idle power and adapter connector resistance, will be incorrect. Good video but incomplete information.

Thank you for your very useful video. I hacked a FSP040-DGAA1 (12VDC 3.33A) where it is very similar concept to modify the output at 9VDC for my specific purpose. Original resistor was 10 kohms, I modified with 14.9 kohms.

I have an 18.5 v laptop charger. I have remove its two resistance connected to REFERENCE PIN of TL 431 and attached a 10k Potentiometer . Didn't change any capacitor. Now charger showing 21.5 volts. What about output amperage when output voltage is 25V ?
Is this dangerous for adapter life (higher temperature) or simple output current will be lower ?
Output current is lower, its all about wattage, if you have 20v 3A adaptor that means 60W, if you increase voltage Of same circuit like 30V, now it gives you 2A output

Charging a 12 volt battery with a lowtop 19 volt charger shuts down the charger

Just try with a potentiemeter to test and adjust, then replace with a static resistor of this same value. For sure, if the initial resistor had a 10kohms (in exemple) for 20V, the new resistor should be with an higher value to limit feedback voltage.

It's basically impossible to just increase amperes. All parts in the concept will give a "power" (watts) result. Technically, if your power supply was 19V @ 4A (76 watts) and you want to reduce at 7.6V... you could get 10A (76 watts)... but not without warranty because some parts could overheat (not calculated to allow some current (A) in some parts)
