You kept on taking the broken mirror, which is the used up version of the magic mirror. As such, it never worked. I'm pretty sure this was a bug in the beta testing of the DLC, which is what you're playing on here(I can tell since the Spyglass has a limit of 2 in the DLC, but had no limit in the beta test).
I definitely don't have this character yet lol. Have you played the Black Market guy yet? That's the one that has weapons destroyed but gets 95% discount and more harvesting so it was very interesting to play as with a different style of being kinda random each wave
Why do you never take recycle machine or Dangerously Bunny? The recycle machine pretty much triples the amount you get for recycling, and the bunny pays for itself in a few rerolls

the cursed weapon is OP, The difference in the damage scaling and the effect of the weapon itself try it!
