The United States should learn from Mercosur countries and much of the rest of the world. If people want to immigrate to the US then they need to prove they can take care of themselves financially and not be criminals.
Great video. I started with an interest in Paraguay, but the Mercosur angle makes it much more interesting. Though smaller in scale, I would initially think that Mercosur has much more achievable goals, compared to BRICS. True, Argentina is struggling. But, they have all of the basic ingredients needed to succeed. (Whereas BRICS consists of a bunch of mostly socially/economically at-risk countries with various levels of internal disunity. Also, the several of the key ones - China, India, Saudi, UAE, Iran, and Turkey - generally hate each other.) Thanks for the video. Much more to think about now.
