there have to be bad free cards in that game so that new players will play them and learn why theyre bad and thus learning about the game. magma rager is a good example in that it teaches that using 3 mana to play a minion that youre opponent can get rid of with little or no cost is bad.
They're only bad in high-skill or high-ranking play. Ogre Magi isn't a bad card. It's useful for beginners starting out. You just find much better cards later, somewhat quickly. It's like how in some video games you have default weapons that are significantly weaker than other weapons you find later. That doesn't mean they're bad. They just serve a different purpose.

He had fun and then conceded, cus honestly, kripp has like 1 million dust and 100 thousand gold or smt... and all cards golden. No need to get wins. He can just retire and start again if he wants to try 12-0 or smt... he can literally do whatever he wants. he should give this new player that win, its not ladder. I hate kripp, but that game was the first step into liking him

I had one of these moments recently in casual while playing Infinite Shudderwock, except by the time I hit concede the combo was going off. The guy was only playing basic and common cards so I felt a little bad, remembering this video. Still, there is a chance he has gone and crafted not only Shudderwock, but Runespear too! It is truly the pinnacle when you can crush someone with a meme deck and then knowing they've maybe put all their resources into crafting that deck now :)
After watching my hero, Kripparian win so many games with The Darkness last night, I went and crafted it myself. I put it into my Aggro Paladin deck to help improve my win rate, but my opponents keep losing before all of the candles snuff out. Any advice on how I can fix this problem, and summon The Darkness? I wish I could say that seriously, but I don't play Aggro Paly. Also, I already had The Darkness. Also, I already ran The Darkness in my Fatigue Meme Priest called "The Slowest Shittiest Priest Deck of all Time". Which has The Darkness, Benedictus, Medivh, Ysera, Lich King, Rafaam, Double Mind Control, Double Embrace Darkness, like, 10 Board Clears, and the 4/8 Windfury Elemental so that I can OTK my opponent with Divine Spirit/Inner Fire once they run out of answers. Basically the best deck ever created.
TMOSP I would argue that the best deck ever created is Totem Shaman. Nothing fills my hearth with joy like smashing my opponents with 0 base attack minions. I once beat a Quest Rogue and a Tempo Mage with it. Ultimate satisfaction!

Aw man that mage’s deck was very similar to my mage deck when I first started before GvG, before I had a clue how to Mage. I lost it seeing all those dead draws of candles.
Oh man, if I was that poor mage i'd be so goddamn confused by what the fuck just happened. Like, the guy/girl probably didn't even fully comprehend why Kripp wasn't attacking or what the deal with all the candles was. Didn't even seem to really understand what Brann did either. He has to realize that it's harder than he thoughts it would be and, if he is humble enough, he'll continue playing, othewise it's just another haughty person and i'll not miss him if he decides to uninstall the game.
That was a fun game, but I find it a bit sad that the most fun a player with over 25K wins in Hearthstone has ever had is against a newbie with a crappy deck. I'm not a hater, btw, I've watched and supported Kripp for a long time.
For times like these, I wished there was an "Offer draw" button like in online chess. Result being it's like the game never took place. No changes made to progression on a run, or to rank.
