Did you see people selling action figures? I saw a lot of people selling retro games at the Chicago Toy Show
There is always a moment in a Riggs video, where I am like "This is why I love this guy". This video's reasoning goes to his pop for Genma Saotome, I said it simultaneously in the same endearing manner.
Up down brings back memories. I used to dj in that place when it was Crisp Pizza Bar.

Glad you made it back to MGC a second time sorry about the Wisconsin weather on Saturday night. Unfortunately I was working at my other job down the street from MGC at the riverside theater. I didn’t even know it was storming out because it was so loud in the theater. I was able to go to MGC Sunday for a short time but only was able to meet up with MJR. Wanted to meet you all since I am a fan of the whole MJR crew. Glad you all had fun at MGC and downtown Milwaukee. Maybe next time.

9:41 That's actually a rare item. It's modeled after the now discontinued retro mini by thinkgeek. Irate Gamer was one of the only people to have an archive of that product.

I would fanboy the freck out meeting Brian Colin. He holds a special place in my heart game/art/character design wise. Also, Dragon's Milk is stellar but with get a hold of ya quick, if ya get me haha!
Great IPA, but a terrible stout. Don't bother with the stout. I'm not from Wisconsin, so I can't recommend a good local to Wisconsin stout, but I guarantee there's a better one.
I met Brian Colin several years ago at MGC. He is such a kind and wonderful person to talk to.

It was amazing watching the Washington boys react to that "intense" Wisconsin rain. Consider yourselves lucky. We've had a blizzard on MGC weekend multiple times. Looks like you guys had a great time.
Let’s not talk about snow now lmao. I remember one time when MGC was at the Sheraton hotel in Brookfield Wisconsin and it was like 80° out and Saturday morning the power was out for a little bit and there was flooding inside the big tent outside.
@@MikePSN09 I remember that. Everyone flocked to the venders tent after the power went out and it was really crowded in there.

11:32 I have that cartridge. Best thing about it is that it has 4 games. They are ok. But what makes that copy interesting to me is the rental sticker on it. I keep rental stickers on my carts, any other markings I try to remove the best I can.
I actually know Josh in person! Known him for almost 5 years and he's such an awesome guy! Got most of my games from him!

I been to a comics onvention about 35 years(maybe longer) ago, and swore never to go another one again; the overwelming saddness of the event stuck with me. The events you go to seem very interesting and enjoyable. This best bit was when you showed a Philips G7000 in action. I remember the membrane keyboard and games which made the Atari 2600 ones look advanced.
Similar experience here . Never went to a real Con , but I went to several "shows" in the late 80's and early 90's . Both sports card shows and comic shows . They were usually held in dimly lit hotel back rooms or a fairgrounds type building if you were lucky . They had more items than the local shops , but nothing cheap or too different . The venders at the shows were usually sketchy and the events had no display or interactive type of attractions , just venders basically with scalper prices . The card shows would usually get one local retired sports personality to show up for a signing , that would be their big draw . I remember only feeling disappointment and that it was never worth the trouble of getting the time off from work to go , saving up some spending cash , driving to the event in bad weather , then coming home broke with not much to show for it . Depressing .
The postage stamp shows were the opposite . They were usually run by clubs and were super fun to go to .
I'm jealous that these cons look so fun and now I live nowhere near any of the good ones .

Was cool seeing you here! Kinda sad I missed Kelsey’s panel after the youtuber one but we had to make it back before the storm. We still got hit by it and it was the hardest downpour i’ve ever seen (while on the highway nonetheless). Had a blast though. Hope to see you guys back next year! :)

I just got back from ZAPCOM in Mesa AZ it was so fun. I got a bunch of video and I posted a walk around of the infamous Polybius. It has period correct wear and tear and stickers. The mechanical games from Taito where my favorite. I'll be posting those soon. They had a tank that moved and fired on match box type toys and blew them up. I wish I had some of those.

You find good deals on video games in unlikely palaces. I'm not an bonry but remeat was. I took him to an bonry con one day and I got over $300 of SNES fan made games and he came the next year he gone with me to an fur con and get got over $300 of SNES fan made games in one day as will. I'm look furwenr to Louisiana Comic Con 2022 not just because things are getting back to normal but because I what get some of those new SNES games.

Thought that was just a CIB Casper for 3DO just hanging out around the 35 minute mark and was screaming for you to pull that out. Sadly, it was the Saturn version. Still just as good a game, but not quite the rarity of the 3DO version in longbox
