I'm glad people are still talking about Dame's game 5. I figured since they lost it would just be forgotten to history. Seriously one of the greatest performances I've seen from a player
Statistically that’s the best playoff performance ever too… I’m a nuggets fan and watching him do that to my team was so crazy that I just started appreciating greatness

Dame was unreal. It wasn’t just the stats. It was how many clutch shots and plays he made. He was on a mission. Teammates broke my heart man. Even if Dame leaves Portland I will forever be a fan and follow where he goes. If he actually wins a chip in Portland he will be in the conversation as one of the greatest to ever lace em up.

Give me some context to that statement. I know he doesn’t have any MVP’s or scoring titles, but if he wins a chip in Portland that’s huge. He’s one of the greatest shooters ever, and one of the most clutch. Not to mention a great leader. He’s always had to overcome teammates being injured during the regular season. Last year was the first time Portland was healthy going into the playoffs when Dame has been at this level. He knew he missed a golden opportunity. I watch every player in the NBA. What Dame does on a nightly basis is special. I expect him to get an MVP before it’s all said and done. You will see. This isn’t just because I’m a Portland fan. He’s built different. He improves every year. Anyways it’s going to be tough, but I believe. Sorry for the rant. Peace ✌️

Harden really defeated the Warriors and the refs with no all-star in his team that day. He only had 5 free throws that game as well. One of the best regular-season performances in NBA history.
As a warriors fan I agree with you that game was wild as hell.

@@Yowo732 he definitely is. CJ McCollum would be the 4th best player in LA or Brooklyn and arguably Milwaukee as well. It’s a solid team capable of making the playoffs, but Dame is capable of being the best player on a championship team. He is better than CP3 and Booker, and those were the best guys on a finals team. It’s just a matter of supporting cast and opportunity.

the blazers just beat the Nuggets in 7 games just a few seasons ago with Kanter as their center and they went to the conference finals. Anybody can go far under the right circumstances. They're just too inconsistent with talent and health to have a chance at those circumstances. They should be on the same tier as the Jazz, Nuggets, and Suns when healthy
