      Thank you very much. I followed some plans I found and modified them a bit. I wanted to get some serious usage time put in with it before building another, but I do intend to make a video for the redesign and build.     What did you finish the thrower with? The black stuff you rubbed on it?

    The stones are also for weight to balance the thrower and the dart while hunting in the ready position. That’s my understanding anyway.

      Yes. That’s my understanding too. You can leave more wood, but rock being denser takes less material to create the balance and power. I personally like have just the wood. If I leave it long enough it balances well for me and feels right.

      What’s your setup like, as far as the shaft and point?
