  • Welcome to my kitchen! In today's video, I'm excited to share with you the recipe for Nellore Chepala Pulusu, a traditional and flavorful Andhra-style fish curry. This spicy and tangy dish is a favorite in Nellore, a coastal region in Andhra Pradesh, and it's sure to become a favorite in your home too
    Ingredients:
    Fresh fish (preferably Rohu or any firm fish)
    Tamarind pulp
    Onions
    Tomatoes
    Green chilies
    Red chili powder
    Turmeric powder
    Coriander powder
    Fenugreek seeds
    Cumin seeds
    Mustard seeds
    Curry leaves
    Garlic cloves
    Fresh coriander leaves
    Salt to taste
    Oil
    Instructions:
    Begin by cleaning and marinating the fish with turmeric and salt. Set aside.
    In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Let them splutter.
    Add chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
    Mix in red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook the spices for a few minutes
    Pour in the tamarind pulp and bring the mixture to a boil.
    Gently add the marinated fish pieces to the curry and cook on medium heat until the fish is done.
    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
