- This tutorial for the AR4 6 axis robot arms integrated vision functionality using OpenCV. This robot uses an Arduino based controller and Python interface programming as well as RoboDK. The AR3 & AR4 have been used in hundreds of hobby, educational and STEM programs to teach mechatronics, machining, 3D printing as well as programming. This desktop robot arm has also been used for a wide variety of industrial tasks such as welding, sorting, stacking and machine tending and has also been used in many filming and videography applications.
You can download all the 3D print files, software, manuals and source code for free here: www.anninrobotics.com/downloads

Thanks Chris, again an awesome work. Looks good and I hope I can soon make a own AR4 (as soon the electronic-parts get little cheaper again).
Very cool, Chris! I love how configurable the vision system is.
Great video. Thank you for sharing all the files. I am looking forward to trying them out.
BIG LIKE !
Awesome! Can't wait to try it out.
Thank you Chris!
Thank You...Very nice and smart work...100% Best.
Good to hear from you! I'm so excited for each update you give. Should I wait a little for more AR4 update? my hands are itchy to build one after I graduate...
Also, are you considering using ROS as development?
Wow this amazing stuff❤
Good,thank you Chris.
Excellent work with robotic vision! Is it possible to use the rangefinder as a crosshair displayed on the glasses screen?
what an amazing job has been done.! I am thinking , is possible to integrate the Jetson Nano into it, probably can boost the AI features in future
Hello Christ, I hope you are well. I ask you a double query, can you tell me where I have the error since when I load everything on the PYTON screen, the mask does not fit, it is bigger and I cannot find how to adjust it in your videos.
The second question is when I execute a robot routine automatically, it always moves to the same side even though the programming tells it to move to the other side and it passes in all axes. Thank you very much in advance, excellent tutorials and great work. I send you a big hug from Argentina
Great😍😍
When will the machined parts available on your website to order ? I have already ordered the ar4 electrical package from Omc
I have another batch of Parts being shipped to me now I hope to have them all back and stock next week
The 360 would be nice on axis 6 what about using like a magnetic proxy or photo eye for the limit switch
That's certainly possible, I'll need to do some research on prox switches. Thank you.
@anninrobotics
Can I ask how you are controlling the conveyor? Did you bypass the knob on the conveyor and tie it into the arduino anolog pins?
I just installed a thu beam sensor and a relay to stop the conveyor
❤️
🎉
very good software controller robot, can I get this software ?
Yes you download the build manual and all the software free at www.anninrobotics.com
