About three days ago, I was in Hurricane and met Matt at his shop and bought some shirts. Super nice guy. I told my wife my most important goal while in the area was to NOT get our Jeep stuck anywhere and end up in a video. So far, mission accomplished...
HAPPY FOURTH 🎉😊
Did you really succeed in Hurricane if you didn't end up on one of these videos?
@michaelcrawford9939 Good point, but I'm in Idaho now, so I'll try and "succeed" there. Hold my sippy cup.
Cap
I would have done the complete opposite so I would be in a video!😂
It’s GREAT to see Ed go on a recovery. He hasn’t been in many videos is for a while.
Jamie definitely pays the damage bills, every time she's running the camera there's a walk around of the vehicle. That's just good C.Y.A.
“You live and learn. Sometimes you do more living than learning. That’s what I learned, when I was living.” I’ll be sure to give you credit for this wisdom, Matt.
T-shirt material.
You just wave and you get in. I’m doing a service babe 😂 my favorite quote in today’s video.
I did my first kinetic pull today, pulling a sprinter van out of the sand. Many thanks to Matt and the crew for sharing their knowledge through this channel! I wouldn't have known about Yankum ropes, soft shackles, etc. I'm not in the business but live remote and it was very rewarding being able to help a family out.
Right on! At least once a winter when plowing snow I accidentally run too far up a 6ft snow bank and bury my half ton Chevy. Normally I have to go get my backhoe to pull it out. Last time it happened one pop with a kinetic 7/8 rope hooked my other pickup popped it right out. Now I cruise in the winter with a kinetic rope in my Dodge Grand Caravan waiting to embarrass a 4×4 thats slid off the road.
Nicely done! I'm sure you'll be proud that a copy-paste bot is getting all the praise up at the top...
Jamie: Steer towards the road.
Driver: Yeah, it's alright, we'll get there eventually.
LOL
I don't even understand why they were stuck
They were steering towards the road, but because of the holes they couldn't steer any further
@DreJr You don't see all the sand under the car. Also these new cars have all kinds of traction control technology that will help them get stuck on wet grass.
The driver never said that
@@blythkd9017 driver: which road?? Steer??.?
It just makes me happy to see Mr. Ed out on Jobs. It tells me he is doing well. 😊❤ we love Mr. Ed, The old time Gold Prospector, not the TV show 😂😂
Ed for President
Hello Willlbur
@@marty0715yt 🤣🤣🤣
Well, the horse too
A horse is a horse of course of course…. the dinosaurs have spoken !!
Collins forehead hit the horn 😂😂
Lol that's sure what it sounded like!
Would love to see you do a video completely about Ed and his life story. I reckon he has a few stories to tell. We know a little about him, but we would love to hear more. A true Gentleman.
There was an entire series on Ed around the time they recovered and restored his old vehicle and surprised him with it
Agreed. We won't have him forever. 🙏
They actually have you just have to go back to the golden nugget videos
Maybe he’s revealed what he wanted to reveal.
I heard the horn and started laughing. What part of your face did that? 😂😂
🤣
Yeah! I was thinking that it was too quick to be Kaulin purposely hitting the horn 😅
I thought the same exact thing 😂 Someone got whiplash and nailed their face into the steering wheel 😂
Good to see Ed out and about.
That porta-potty has been leaking a long time to saturate the ground like that! 😁
Also, "Jamie, have him steer.".... Jamie to customer, "You need to steer towards the road." ....... customer keeps wheels dead straight..... I can see why they normally drive the customer's cars until they are "out of harms way." They have no clue what to do (which is likely why they had to call Matt in the first place).
Peter telling us about the wrecks on that Hill and you recovering then. How about showing some of that on one of your days on the internet.
Say what?
LOWER 48 : Matt, most truck drivers will tell you that the lower 48 is a saying that means the entire USA excluding Alaska & Hawaii. The farmers from the Midwest had their own saying: of the upper 40. Didn't matter where they were actually plowing their fields. It was just conversation.
Glad to see Ed still coming along for recoveries
Love Kolin and his optimistic, sense of mission and awesome commentary & just wonderful human kindness.
"Without spinning!" And then proceeds to spin the whole way up the hill😅😂
You twit, the “no spinning” was direction given to the jeep driver, who did not spin.
I knew as soon as that shirtless wonder opened his mouth that he was indeed going to spin that sucker the whole way up.
My thoughts exactly.
Nah that's your typical assisted dust storm to help push the vehicle up the mountain. It's a random weather phenomenon.
@@DiustheZyou didn’t hear the jeep literally slapping limiter?
Good to see Ed back in action!
Good morning Ed..may the day be all air conditioning and sunshine..and Matt and penut your lucky to be riding with a legend.
There are circumstances where it is acceptable to give away the t-shirt BEFORE the rescue.
😂
I second that 😅
yeah .. totally agree
😂
Yup, if I wanted to see that I’d look in the mirror 😂😂😢😢
Lots of little jobs keep the lights on and dinner with YOUR princess bride makes the day Matt. Great work MORR
Good thing you guys give out T-shirts. That one gentleman was in need of one.
St. George Utah, not far from Hurricane, is forecast to be 110 to 115 F later this week. Good luck with that Matt and crew.
Man, we had 95° F in the last week of June, and let me tell you we barely survived, 115 is beyond imagination out here
We have heat rolling into northern Minnesota now too. Will be in the upper 70's all week.
While here in Berlin, Germany, it's actual 17°C. Please send some degrees over.
@@MegaSockenschuss17º is perfect.
@@padmeamidala4883 In autumn and spring, yes. Not in the summer. :D
Classic MORR 3:10 Recovery of a Humvee. Would love to know the amount of times MORR has recovered those dang Humvees.
Took a tour with red rock number tour while in hurricane highly recommend it he took us my Matt shop to get shirts show us a good time
The first dude REALLY needed that shirt. We all did.
Matt glad to see you have moral support specialist peanut on the job with you an senior recovery specialist Ed on first recovery of the video
There is no such thing as an unnecessary front dig.
Finally someone that really needed a T-shirt 😂😂
Folks, load your trailers slightly nose-heavy every single time, please. Whipping at speed is a scary way to die or almost die.
If those people knew how to read they’d be very upset with this!
Everyone who pulls a trailer needs to see that video of the toy car pulling a trailer on the treadmill. They have the weight loaded towards the rear and with a small tap, the car starts fishtailing. When the weight is more towards the tongue, it self-corrects
8-10% of total trailer weight at the tongue. Use a bathroom scale to check.
I have a glass kitchen scale, Will that work?
@@ganster2263 Don't know until you try. lol
Peanut's a smart pup!
Matt gave me one of my favorite come backs about crocs - do you know what the holes in crocs are for? ... to let your dignity escape!
Thank you Matt!
Without spinning, the guy heard hold it to the floor , lol
Thats not buried in mud, thats just getting the tires dirty. Buried in mud is when you can reach out the drivers window and poke your finger into the mud. Love that red clay goop.
REALLY stuck is when you can reach out the sun roof and poke your finger in the mud... ;)
I've seen guys with a lifted full-size Blazer back in the 1970s who had mud over the top of their hood and they were wading through it to get to the winch cable... I was on a motorcycle, so I had the option of going through the trees where there was somewhat solid ground instead of going through the mud hole... I suspect that was a "hold my beer" moment...
They are having a long day. Matt and crew, you know what to do. Get''em out of stuck. Good work.
Just like the beginning, Matt and Ed alone in the banana. Ed used to be the camera guy.
Yall be safe in the summer heat! Thanks for all your videos! Always entertaining!
Ed is the man and a legend.
I love when Peanut gets to go along on the rescue run.
Thanks to the editors for what you do. Changing shots to the beat of the music & using the Banana to pull the next recovery across the screen makes the experience 111% more interesting for some of us..
Thanks for showing us the big holes in the road during the black car recovery. Good context
"Yeah, I should've snuck up on"😂
Thanks for uploading the video. The variety of situations you all get into is the best part
Short & Sweet ! Always nice to see JAMI !!! I LOVE YOU ALL @ M.O.R.R. !! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is how I imagine how all Gladiator owners look😊
LOL, we do. although I'm still SMH as to how he was stuck...
I'm a jeep owner and that's my body type. I keep my shirt on in my videos, tho. 😂
Some of have Rubicons. Those stock ones should be used for regular work
@@rainysaurus i mean even a standard should not have been stuck on that. meh, i guess some people dont want them scratches.
@@rainysaurus Lol, Rubicons are for those that lack skills, don't know how to unbolt sways and can't drive without lockers... That's just a dirt wash, it ain't rock crawling. But... I have to give the dude some credit, he did unbolt his rear sway, showing he at least tried, now he just needs to learn to drive without rear lockers. My wife could teach him, she's damn good at working the ol hand break. and yes she even undoes her own links and ties them up. She's kinda mean though, likes to calls Rubicon owners rubinoobs, and if they get behind her at a light she likes to push in the clutch, let off the brake and roll back at um, then she says "watch, they'll make mall-crawler faces" as she pops the clutch, man I love that woman.
Just like the beginning, Matt and Ed alone in the banana. Ed used to be the camera guy.
Love the show.i watch you every mornin to get day started with my coffee.and I've actually learned a lot
Thank you guys
Matt, Ed, Kaulin, and Jaymie to the rescue of these vehicles and don't forget Peanut! They got em out! That Morrvair is awesome!
I like how Kaulin wears a hat from Robby Layton! Sneaky way to advertise for Robby.
Alway's nice to see Ed out on a recovery. Glad he's still going strong and always ready to give the weather report. Thanks for the video and stay safe guy's.
I liked this simple episode more than most. No fluff no drones or cameramen, get to a recovery, get it done. This is what MORR is about.

I love how family friendly this channel is , when I’m hanging out with my kids this is one of the channels I can confidently watch without having to worry about what the kids might hear. Ps they love watching the cars get pulled out and cheer Matt on pretty much every time
Love MORR videos in the morning!
Matt - just love that it's always "the lovely Jamie" and it is! But it also shows your respect and appreciation.
Great to see Ed back out on the road with you and I’ve been missing his weather reports in the beginning of the videos!!! Have a Happy 4th Ed!!! And the entire crew at Matt’s!!!
Watching these videos makes me feel like I’m hanging out with a big group of friends
PAID SHILL POSTER --- 35 CENTS A POST -- IT ALL ADDS UP !!
I’m not an off roader, but I love watching your videos. Great content.
"We're going to get him a shirt", good idea, he needs one!
That front dig was totally necessary! : )
My family and I have absolutely fell in love with this channel. Meet you in Pigeon Forge TN a few years ago, after just watching the channel a little bit. My son was in a wheelchair at the time and everyone there took their time to say their hello’s. So the moral of the story is “thank you”. Even if it’s years later. By the way. Our son is up and walking and we all still watch the channel.
Good to see ed riding along again.
"Sometimes you do more living than learning. That's what I've learned...by living"
- Matt, 2024
Edit: I'd love to hear someone with a Johnny Cash voice sing this😅
With that dangling tie rod, I thought that Gladiator was a Bronco for a moment. In the second call, if you got to be stuck, might as well be stuck near a portie potty.
That's a away bar link. They disconnect them so it'll flex more offroad
Hey Ed, good to see ya, 🗽🏛
Happy independence day everyone,
Be vigilant ❤
Awesome Ed on the job like the beginning just cool
Thank you Matt and crew for the adventure , seeing some beautiful scenery and nice recoveries !
That was a great video it's nice to see ED hello too all of Matt's off Road Recovery 👍
A mud wallow just a few feet downhill from a Porta-Potty ? hmmm
Hi Matt
Love your channel from South Africa
"Sometimes you do more living than learning" - Matt
That would make for a good T-shirt maybe with a graphic of someone stuck in the mud
I am glad to see Ed still gettin' out and about!
🎉 I wake up every morning just hoping for another one of these great videos I can’t imagine what it would like to be maintain a wonderful family successful business and share so much amazing content with everyone. Thank you
Hip, Hip, Morrvair! 🎉
Speaking of Peanut, I haven't seen Lady in quite some time - I hope she's well!
cant wait to see what the 6x6 can do! and the race car for 2025 keep building these awesome machines
I got the twin to that Denali, just a long bed and I like the “spool up and honk when your ready” proceeds to floor it😂
I live is an area hot like this. Word to the wise - wear thin layers to keep the sun off your skin and trap moisture next to your skin. Do Not go shirtless...just makes you hotter and dehydrate faster
Yeah anything above 100 degrees is too hot.
New camera? Peanut looks good.
Your material is totally good enough. No need for exaggerations. And no need for (exaggerated) figure or speech. See ya! 😃
The Princess Bride, Jaymee doesn’t know what she’s missing.
I assumed that movie was compulsory 😂
I watched The Princess Bride in Poland once. I don't speak Polish and it was still hilarious. 👸🏼
I finally saw it last year. Jaymie, you're not missing anything.
@@om617yota7 Blasphemy! 😆
Inconceivable!!
Watch out for that heat cranking up like this guys.
So! Peanut got a call. Decided to be chauffeured to the jobs. Then relaxed in the morvair instead.
That guys steering? No wonde he didn’t want to show his face!
Great vid, but way too short today…. Not complaining, but didn’t even get my morning coffee finished here. 7am Tasmania, Australia
“Just doin a service, babe” I will remember that line “tonight❤❤❤
"A truck stuck in the muck and they are in luck" definition of I'm a poet and I didn't even know it
Love your channel from Houghton lake Michigan
Legend has it they are still out there trying to get that GMC out of the mud to this day.
What mud? Someone that has a big loader working in what looked like a quarry does not have a chain? Did someone just want a free shirt?
Thanks for your service you are doing great job God bless you and your family
Good dermatology ad….WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!!!
I wish Matt sold the Sticker he's got on the Dash "Got Gas?" that Matt was famous for never having enough.... lol... That would be a fun one. He did a proper hit on that Diesel Denali.... That's a Heavy truck... Let the rope do it's job, not the driveline. well done. Got Gas?
Way to go MORR TEAM!! Without fail, you GET EM OUT and entertain us the whole time!
One heckuva leak from that port a potty
My Dad used to eat me alive for pulling things out from the winch like that. even tho this was hardly any weight from that Mazda so no big deal. I was pulling out f150s at 16 and didn’t know any better 😂
Also Iv been waiting to hear about some flash flooding recovery’s. Apparently Moab got hit badly with flash floods hope yall are doing alright and staying safe out there.
Without spinning, repeated, got it. A few moments later the sound of a rev limiter & a huge dust cloud
Does Matt get into Sand Hollow free because he's there to rescue someone? (I suppose he uses the park recreationally, so he has something like an annual pass.)
Is he the most frequent visitor to the park? 😁
In early videos he had to explain to them what he was doing, seems they know him now
Yep that’s why he just gets the wave in, since he is there to rescue he is let in for free as long as it’s someone working who recognizes them. Else he just has to stop and explain and then be let in.
He owns the park now
Can I nominate this video for best soundtrack? Great choices of music and their transitions for each video.
5:00 Someone needs to invent a device prominently displayed in front of a driver so they could be informed of their speed….😂
Hi Ed. So glad to see you ❤. Thank You Matt and crew for all you do. ❤️
Funny you mention Black Ridge and the guardrail. When I went through St George on i15, I remember thinking to myself "That guardrail looks like it's been replaced a few times." sure enough, that explains it. It is decieving though, it's a lot like Tejon and Cajon Pass (yes 2 different passes, one is i15, one is i5) here in socal, its twisty, then suddenly it just straightens out and drops off into nothing. I've come out of Cajon before doing 100+ and didn't realize it until I looked down.
9:19 A question that indicates jealousy and the answer is very diplomatic :D :D :D I'm kidding
