I ordered loads of fish from the trop co and half of the fish they sent were the wrong ones and they were in such bad condition and they were so skinny and unhealthy and all died within a few days and my tank was well established and had fish in it and I’ve been keeping fish for 11 years so I do have experience, I probably won’t be ordering from them again
I have 5 pea puffers in my community tank - each of their personalities are very different and I spend hours watching them !!! I’d love to see a breeding video - congratulations on your new additions ( I also had mine from the same company ) 💚

Trop co up the road from me I would not buy from them there crap

I used to have a marine dog faced puffa. About to get a black Pirahna 😊
They don’t put meds through the fish routinely, only monitor... not sure if that’s good or bad
Great video, I'm going to order some of these pea puffers for myself in a week or two, they'll be good watch. Love the vibe of that tank. I use Tropco and woukd recommend them. Thanks for sharing, really useful information.

Well done, lucky you getting an order from Trop Co. I live in Northern Ireland and they refuse to ship here... obviously they do not understand that Royal Mail provide a very good overnight service... good video tho.

I have 7 of these guys. Love them so much. So much fun to watch. Ive had mixed results ordering fish online but once I find a good shipper I am not hesitant at all.

I've bought fish from four different sellers on eBay. Two of them are shit hot and I've bought from them multiple times. The other two were packaged with very little care and as a result will not get my business again. So, is ordering online good, or bad? Both.
By the way, PSA to anyone selling fish online: STOP USING SHITTY ELASTIC BANDS TO SEAL THE BAGS.
Can they be in with other fish? I had a figure 8 before and he seemed ok with other fish. I’d love some of these but I already have some rainbows would that bother them?
I have khuli loach and ottos in with them. They can be fin nippers on other fish though
I ordered from tropco 3 times 2 times had about 3 fish dead o arrival and 20 tetras all with ich and a gold gourami with worms or internal parasites

Ordered from trop co. All fish died within a month. I have goldfish and tropical fish that are over 6/7yrs old so I know my stuff. It’s a shame. I hope yours last.
Mine died from trip co one was dead in the bag.

Do you have a video of how you quarantine your fish. Meds etc.
I have a couple on how I QT Discus, and have talked about what I do for other fish - long story short - I monitor, rather than medicate (not to say medicating by standard is wrong) unless there is something obviously needing attention when fish come in, I like to leave them to it.
Hard to tell from a video, but its possible one of them had a spot of white on its tail. I'm certain you'll medicate them if needed and you'll be able to see them a lot better then we can :) Looks like its going to be a lively and interesting to tank to have!
Possible - they are quite elusive at the moment but I can't see any white spot, will keep an eye out though.
@@AquariumAdventures well the important thing is they made it through shipping and being transferred without puffing up! A little stress related ick might not be outside the expectations, since the heat packs weren't warm anymore. Cute little buggers. Can't wait to see their little personalities come out!

I would - the fish are doing fine despite my concerns about the packaging. Heard lots of good feedback from others too. I've bought for a few online suppliers (as well as private sales through ebay etc)
I have these guys in two tanks. One is with Swordtail fish, the other a species tank. thanks for the upload.
I loved the video I live in Kent and I have been to tropco a coupe of time as you can visit 3 days a week they have a good selection of fish lots are small but they do have some really good ones I also love how all the tanks are on sponge filters and they dip their nets every time they catch fish so I like it keep up the grate work
First off mate, great honest videos you put up! How are the new puffers getting on? Tropco is open to the public Friday Saturday and Monday for you to visit and collect from and I believe they send deliveries out Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Great selection available and the guys there are extremely friendly and have a wealth of knowledge. The new fish room is really quite impressive. The packaging in my experience is great, retained heat very well and is much better for the environment than styrofoam.
Learned a lot about puffers in this vid. Cool little fish. Will pick some up but not to I get them a tank. I gota check to see if this tropic company have an outlet in N.I.
I get a fair few fish from here as they are only few miles away from me. Good prices etc but they are usually very young fish

Most of my fish came from Tropco. You can actually go there and choose your fish yourself on Fridays and Saturdays if you want to from over a thousand tanks! It's a great place to visit but the fish room is like a furnace!
