Why we closed our business "It's Cherry", a thriving plant-based burger joint in Maui. Can you believe it? It was one of the most challenging decisions we've ever faced. It wasn't an easy choice, but we followed our hearts and decided to pursue a different path: travel! We realized that running the business was tying us down, and we craved the freedom to explore and experience new adventures. Closing "It's Cherry" was bittersweet, considering all the memories and success we had there. But we knew deep down that it was the right move for us at this stage in our lives. I wanted you guys to be the first to know because you've always been there, supporting us through thick and thin. Your support means the world to us, and I wanted to share this exciting new chapter with you guys. So, get ready for some amazing new journeys with us and unforgettable experiences.
Yep. Sometimes all we need is a vacation a break from monotonous work, editing the film thats your life, and being judged by entities in the world wide web / social media
I love watching you and Jacob. Can’t wait for any content you put out. Your decision to close your successful business works for you. I am glad you were able to realized your vision now rather than later. Both of you look amazing and happy. That is all that matters.💜💜💜💜
Us fans love and appreciate you but we all have our own paths. We would be saddened if we were unable to watch your amazing content but (this is the important part most won't realize at first) being happy and experiencing life is more important than living through someone else's experience's. You inspire others to create. You can do that in many ways not just creating content. Let's face it we have endless content on the net. Most of us need to take a step back. Turn off our screens and make our own moments. I am so proud of how far you have come. Thank you for enriching our lives. The first time I tried one of your original recipe videos was an amazing experience. The quick vegetarian kimchi. You created so many easy to follow beautiful videos that we will have plenty to do well you take this next step. If you continue to create we are here but I would rather you be happy. I would rather us all live life and embrace it. Please don't ever fell bad or guilty for growing and changing. Life is what we make of it and we all need to do things we don't like for others but creating content or things like that is not worth it. Not if it takes from you. There are so many ways you can sacrifice that won't take from you like donating or making food for shelters etc... Sorry for the long ramble. I just don't want anyone to ever feel bad for something as silly (and fun) as content creation. Views don't make people truly loved or enriched. After everything is done you can't embrace it nor can it hug you when needed. Much love and positivity on your new adventures to you and yours
Taking time to be able to smell the roses instead of driving past them in a blur is a really good thing, life is short, time passes quickly and before you know it, you've missed doing so much, sacrificed happiness and wellbeing and it's too late to truly enjoy what you really wanted to do. I can totally see where you're coming from
I think people lied when they say a woman is glowing when she’s pregnant. I think anyone can look glowing when they’re at peace with themselves. I think that’s what it seems happen with you. You look genuinely happier these days ( at least in the more recent episodes). I’m happy for you, Seonkyeong. Please do what make you happy coz happy Seonkyeong makes better videos.
People are not lying. You offer that there are other reason(s) why a person may "glow." No need for a negative statement to try and make your observation more impactful.
It's actually "glowing" because you sweat & get oily more. But also, if with proper care & health, you make a lot of vitamins etc. Plus you can't drink, do anything bad, etc. So for some people they will glow more. Also because they are excited
Burnout is very real. Also, the constant comparison in today’s “social” world is so unhealthy. People will either like you or not but as long as you are doing what makes you truly happy, that’s all that matters! Thank you for your honesty and can’t wait to see what is next!
I love this. Your vulnerability and speaking in Korean is lovely. As a fellow Asian creator who never allowed herself to be creative I appreciate your videos so much! Know that you have empowered other women like me! ❤peace is so wise. That’s what humans all really crave not happiness. That’s fleeting. Your realization is so power. I too have chased money but what we really want is freedom. I am so sad to hear about the fact that you have been depressed. Being a creator is incredibly difficult and lonely and sometimes people can be so cruel but also know that people are in your corner and love you so know that we see you. I see you ❤❤
All of this was beautifully said . It’s always going to be like this though . We push ourselves make all the money because we NEED it so we can move on to the next chapter so we CAN be “ free” and pursue what we want at different phases of our life . Success or the definition of it is often uncomfortable, isolating , depressing “ it’s a myriad of emotions . ❤
I chased money for years in the IT industry. Hours, days, weeks, months spent on holidays, paid time off, trying to put out fires. I burned out, and then I realized-I just want something I can love, be creative in, and be supported doing by my loved ones. And that’s what I’m doing. I’m not at the top of a corporate ladder making six to seven figures. But I’m financially stable, and happy. And I switched careers to be a designer. I’m so so SO SO proud of you for everything you’ve accomplished, everything you’ve done, and everything you’ve given your all. I’m a huge fan, not only for the noodz, but because you’re an inspiration to everyone! Live your dreams ❤️
I had the same revelation back in 2009, but did the opposite. I quit my corporate job and started a restaurant. It gave me the opportunity to do what I loved for a living, as well as work with my kids. I still work with my younger son, and his brother is an aspiring chef in fine dining. I don’t regret anything. I’m glad you found your peace.
It takes a lot of courage to admit this kind of stuff online, especially when you're already primed to receive peoples negative emotions, but I'm so happy you were able to come to this realisation and trust yourself enough to follow through. It can be so hard to reject the blueprint of success we're taught as we grow up but finding your own values and goals is always something to be celebrated. Best of luck in the future!
I'm glad you realized that you were just burnt out and didn't leave TH-cam. I very much enjoy your videos, the way you interact with your family, and your obvious love for the food that you make and eat. Keep up the great work. I need more recipes!!!
Bella is a reflection of you. She’s giving up traditional “success” ie dry house, food, security for what her heart loves being outside and free to explore and just go where the day takes her even if it comes with some muck and mire sometimes.
Thanks for sharing your feelings. I have been with you from the beginning and I consider you to be one of the biggest successes I have ever witnessed on TH-cam. Follow your heart. You both have always made the BEST decisions for the both of you. And the road as you know it won't always be easy. But it will sure be fun!! See you on the next chapter. Blessings to you both ❤
You are doing what we should all be doing: growing and learning. What was good for us once isn’t necessarily good for us in the long run. We need money to live; we don’t need it to thrive. Maybe you’ve learned that sooner than later. All the best to you and Jacob, and thank you for sharing your journey.
You have gained the wisdom to know what is best for you and success to me means realizing this sooner than later. Being vulnerable is also steeped in wisdom because it takes a lot of strength to discuss publicly why you've switched directions. Good for you! BTW, I could sense your unhappiness.
My brother and I watch you cooking and try your recipes. When I saw you also had a restaurant in Maui I thought to myself how ambitious you are. Don’t feel bad or beat yourself up. It’s better to have tried than wonder. And sounds like you have every reason to be proud of the restaurant. The experience is all that matters. You are very wise to understanding societal pressures and it’s very much ringing a lot of similarities to my life as well. As far as finding meaning to life and reflecting on things. Anyways, I love your videos. You are so fun to watch, your personality shines and you are hilarious. Have fun and cheers to you and Jacob!
Yes… Best to follow your hearts! Always! And when you look back on your lives and experiences, you’ll know you didn’t die with your music still inside you. Much hope and happiness in your future! The gift of light
Dearest Seonkyoung, one must do what one must do! I as one of your many subscribers support your feelings, state of mind and decisions that you have made. Do enjoy life on your new path in this life. You will always be blessed and happy. Only beautiful & good times are in your future. Take care, and take it easy!
Hello Seonkyoung...me too used to think this way but I think that belief that you're only successful if you become rich or become a doctor or a lawyer stems from our Korean, actually Asian culture. I grew-up believing the same exact thing because my parents taught me that. My childhood & teenage years could have been a lot happier but I guess my parents tried their best, or what they thought was best, they were also victims of the same belief. I've forgiven them for all...Anger will just consume you...I'm glad that I realized sooner than them that life is not about money & money doesn't necessarily make you happy, it does help you maybe make things happen, help you make happiness easier...My parents worked so hard & slaved themselves (and me) for most of their lives so they could make enough money to pay for the expensive car, for the huge house they didn't really need, for keeping up with appearances. They also put a lot of pressure on us kids to be the best, number one in everything otherwise you're a loser. This made my young life so depressing...until one day, it was one of the lowest darkest times of my life & my college friend convinced me to go on a backpacking winter vacation trip with her to Mexico (Mexico because it was supposed to be affordable & we, well, I had very little money). I didn't even know what backpacking was/meant...At the time I was taking a break from school...So January 1st, the year of the TIger, I left for Cancun, Mexico. We skipped Cancun, too touristy. My friend had an itinerary figured out thanks to the Lonely Planet, that was our bible :). THis trip changed my life forever!!! I had so many crazy adventures & incredible experiences! My friends left after their 3 week programmed vacation time but I remained. I was supposed to only prolong for another week because I only had $20 to my name after I spent $50 to change my return ticket (which I realized later was an open ticket, the girl at the counter was so nice...). So for 3 months I traveled throughout Mexico, sometimes alone & sometimes with different groups of people, had crazy amazing adventures, met wonderful people (some of which I re-connected with years later & by chance). Learned many new skills like how to make jewelry out of seashells & rocks, braid hair with ribbons in exchange for food or shelter...Mexico is beautiful! So many beautiful landscapes & humble funny simple generous people...The nature there healed my soul & I found myself! I learned to love myself...I realized that I'm a good person & as long as you do what is right & no harm to others, be positive energy everyday & wherever you go, that is all that matters. When your loved ones are happy, when you can make people you love, all people around you, when you have the chance to bring happiness, that is a great feeling! Going back to Mexico trip, after 3 months, I decided that it was time to go back to reality, not because I wanted to but because I had to, I had $0 & my parents were freaking out. There's a crazy story behind this, but on my last days in Tulum (that's where our paths crossed the first time unknowingly 3 months prior), I met my soulmate & we've been together ever since. We now have 2 beautiful daughters & live in Cali (LA) & now that the young one is about to graduate high school, I want to pursue my dream or continue the dream...TO TRAVEL & SEE AS MANY BEAUTIFUL PLACES AS POSSIBLE! I'm scared to take the leap cuz this means I have to quit my job & do put into motion a lot of things but TIME is of ESSENCE! LIFE IS TOO SHORT! Seounkyoung, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY & ALWAYS BE YOURSELF! It'd be nice to meet you & Jacob one day :) I think we would get along...Wish me luck! I pray everyday that I'm able to make my dream come true, the sooner the better while I'm still kinda young...Wish you & Jacob all the best! KEEP GOING! KEEP MAKING HAPPY MEMORIES!
It takes a huge courage to show your vulnerable side and I'm pretty sure many people, including me, appreciate that and totally understand. Burnout is so normal and it's not a bad or embarrassing thing to stop doing one thing and change to do other things. We grow and learn by that meanwhile coming from Asian culture myself I also totally can relate the feelings and expectations you carried. Congratulations on life and adventures you decided to do. I'm still one of your big fans and excited to see videos of your journeys, foodies and recipes you wanna share :) Much love and support!! 💕💕💕💕💕
This goals for me. Not being rich but having a peace of mind, on whatever level, and being able to accept it. We were planning our trip to Maui since its just a 1.5 hours away. I missed out but your sanity is worth more. Going to go to H mart today or tomorrow and look for those noodles. Thank you for all you do. Looking forward to your travel vlogs if you decide to do them.
You're not alone, I think most people feel the way you do but don't have the knowledge or the skills to honestly reflect and take appropriate action. I'm so glad to see young people taking control of their own lives and living their truths instead of being beholden to what society tells them is important. Trust that the people who tear you down are the people who need the most help - it isn't you, it's their lack of abilities. BTW, you already did make it with a world-wide brand (Seonkyoung Longest) - it'll be fun and exciting to see what you have coming up next!
I have loved all of your shows and I respect you for your choices and power to you. Life is short make the best choices for you and your husband. Thank you for so many of your wonderful beautiful recipes.❤
Honestly congratulations on finding a way to live for yourself! Also I love reading subtitles and hearing other languages keep expressing yourself the way that works best!! I’ve been enjoying your life change in Hawaii but I understand enjoying content and making content is not the same no matter how nice someone’s life looks. Would love to continue following your journey but do what’s best for you ❤
You had to try to do what you wanted and test the water. It's hard work..So, you have no regrets. We learn and move on... we have many journeys ahead. New chapters to start. Live ,learn and enjoy life...good lucky. I love your content. Hawaiian girl living in a Florida world.
Love you guys and your content. Take your time for you. It’s so important. I’ll just rewatch your videos until you have new ones. I’ve learned so much from you! ❤
You are living a life that so many people would love. You're an amazing cook! Never get caught up in worldly things. Be the best you can and love yourself. You're an amazing woman❤
I just want to let you know, If you have a chance to read my comment 😊 You are the FIRST English teacher for me!! Back to 7-8 years ago, I’ve started to learn English starting with listening. I coincidence saw your cooking VDO on TH-cam. I watched all of your VDOs, continue to subscribe your channel and saw all of your carrier path!! No matter you decided to do from now on, I promise I will consistency to watch your VDO like before. LOVE❤
Hello thank you for sharing your personal thoughts and dreams. I think most people struggle with the same issues. The key thing is to find peace within yourself and find gratitude with what you already have whether small or large. You have everything most people only dream about. I hope you find what you are looking for. You are beautiful and blessed❤
I'm glad you're taking the time for yourself and your family. That kind of freedom is the one I crave too. I appreciate all that you have shared here on YT, especially when it was difficult for you. I'm excited for your new chapter!
Thank you for your vulnerability and honesty. Like you said, on the positive side, at least you figured what you wanted now than later. A lot of people are blinded by greed and money. I come to terms 3 years ago that no amount of money was worth my sanity, time with my family, my mental health and time that i have left in this world. Make the most of what life you have now and you will feel fullfilled ❤
I'm really glad you've come to this decision because it definitely wasn't an easy one and it takes a lot of courage to 'quit' something, but at the end of the day, it's a matter if what you're doing is truly bringing you happiness and what you want. I'm incredibly excited and looking forward what your future plans are! Regardless of what happens, I will always support you!
I am so glad I was able to taste your delicious food while I stayed on the island this past Feb, it was so yummy we stopped by twice once your fryer was back up and running for the chix burger, we even got to try your vegan cheesecake! (delicious!) I still dream of that pineapple shake, too. You and Jacob were both so sweet, it. was a pleasure to meet you . Im so glad you tried out this new advnture and were able to stay true to yourself and your happiness even if it meant closing this chapter. Life is too short not to live out all of your dreams. Im happy you got to live this one out... now onto the next adventure.
I'm enjoying your travel vlogs! Chasing after money -> wanting freedom and not be tied down to burdens/responsibilities is something I realized after I worked in a highly prestigious (and demanding) job and hated my life, and felt like life is too short to just grind away. I can't travel full time yet so living vicariously through your videos! :)
YOu are a wonderful human being and I totally appreciate how you open up. You have more courage than the many. Even myself included. Privacy is my most prized possesion. It's the ultimate freedom to live without people always on your case. Being a youtuber like you, you have to deal with people and their opinions all the time. So I appreciate being able to be a fly on the wall in YOUR life. YOu're living the dream! I love it.
Thank you for sharing. I've been feeling this way as well and it's very empowering to see you making choices of a much higher magnitude with such grace. You've owned your decision and that's so lovely to see. I hope to see more videos in the future if you stay with TH-cam. Also that cake looks amazing.
Nobody but your loved ones know you. I know you are thankful for your subscribers, but they don’t REALLY know you. So don’t listen to the negativity. Love and live in the moment. And if you have the means to do everything, freedom, money, love and happiness, who is anyone else to discourage you. You only have your loved ones and yourself to answer to. Loved your past travel videos. Can’t wait to see your new ones! Safe travels.
It’s lovely to see you openly speak about this, because society does like to define success how you described, but as you say, it’s the other things that matter the most
Most of the ideals and goals we have come from society, parents, school, friends, TV and everything else around us, at some point we pick some kind of goal pursue it and then beat ourselves up about it day after day, not realising those goals aren't exactly our own goals. We can become out own worst enemy really easy,. Why do we bully ourselves? Isn't it strange? Everyone has to decide what goals they really should internalize and we have to be aware if our goals are serving us or not. It's good you are reflecting and I hope you feel more balanced.
Im glad you realized what is important to you. Life is all about learning and discovering. What you want in your 20s will be different when you're 30 and so forth. do what makes you happy!
I applaud you for being real and saying it as it is. Sometimes we take on too much in our life and realizes that this is not what you really wanted. You have to go thru it, experience it and then decide this is not it. I’ve experienced the same when I was “chasing money” it was all there but I wasn’t happy , my soul was empty because I was so exhausted inside . It’s great that you are realizing this at an early age, I’ve realized it when my kids had grown up and now are adults and I missed their “growing years” … now I’m not going to miss my grandchildren’s growing years . I want to be present and in this life we only have one chance and money is not going to bring us happiness.. it’s time and experience we have with our loved ones. More power to you! Go where your heart takes you. Sending you love and light .
I've watched you for years and what I see, is that you have been so, so successful! You have a beautiful home on a gorgeous, peaceful piece of property, you built a business and you get to spend every day side by side, with your wonderful husband! I know you have had hardships, but you've navigated them so well and I know so many of us would be grateful to just experience a life like this, even if only for a short time! ❤
this is exactly what Gary V talks about ALL THE TIME!! People are way too worried on what other people think, an always conscious of how things could be looked at an thought of…negative or positive, both are exhausting an should never be the main objective. It’s for you & at the end of the day, it’s only going to be you & whoever you have in your home. She really nailed it, it’s about happiness. Period. What makes you happy? Certainly not forcing yourself to do things you dread so that maybe you can be complimented by a stranger or someone you know but not really close lol…it’s freedom, time wise & financially. When you know everything is paid an don’t have to manage every dollar for fear of over-drafting. Don’t have to have the most expensive car/house/clothes…as long as it feels nice an looks nice to you the price tag is only a flex in those kind of circles who only care about looking rich an flashy. Less Money + Happy is always the choice over most money + sad…
I was just telling My husband the other day some of the same things you talked about. As I recently turned 45 success now has a different meaning for me😊 I’m excited for where I’m headed & enjoying the journey!! Happy for you also GO WITH YOUR PEACE💕
Stay true to yourself, and everyone deserves a break. We are not here to please anyone but ourselves. Stay healthy and love yourself, and live your life the way you want it! ❤
Thank you so much for sharing a little part of your life with us. Life is too short to be doing something you do not feel is right. What others think should not matter, because it is your life. No matter what happens, there will always be people that judge negatively. There is nothing you can do about that. It is better to choose to not let it bother you. Life is much happier that way. Good luck and best wishes on your next adventure and I hope you will still make your cooking videos. I really enjoy them! 😊😊😊😊
Just found your channel and I have been watching your food videos non stop for a week. I’ve tried several and they are wonderful recipes and plant based food too. I had always felt a little confused by Korea spices and how to use them. But you have explained so many different ways to use them. I am so thrilled. Anyway I wanted to say it is better to work smarter not harder. Running a food truck must have been incredibly labour intensive. I have been thinking and would like to suggest you develop a plant based burger patty based around your recipes. I think it would sell amazingly well. Particularly in New Zealand where there is a huge Korean community. Thank you for your lovely videos. X
I am 53 and I am now going thru a really tough midlife crisis. I have lived in the US for over 30 years, suddenly I want out of this life. I want to go back to my home country, be able to hear the ocean with every breathe and just fall asleep to sea breeze. Stop worrying about bills and just live. Will be retiring soon and can't wait to start that new journey.
Your kitten is so adorable... such a peaceful feeling watching this video. We love you and will be here with you when you want to share yourself with us! It's always good to take a break 😉
Bella and my cats have the same mentality! Your conversation with her "I have to go! I dont have time to chase you!" is exactly what I say when I need to leave the house!
I have come to understand that those who are unhappy with themselves will find fault in others. Don’t worry about them bcus they don’t live your life and don’t understand how you arrived at the point you did. You don’t have to apologize to anyone. You come back when you are ready to. You have followers who will still support you and for those who thinks you owe them something, they can leave- simple as that. God bless you and your family!
When you look back, think of it as an adventure not a failure because it is not. At the end of the day, it's your life. Do what makes you happy. It is important to be happy in everything that you do in life. On a selfish note, I'm glad you're back here! 😊
GOOD LUCK. Looking forward to seeing more adventures from you two. Hey, what happened to your other animals on the farm? Maybe you said in a video and I missed it, but if you see this, please let me know. Just curious 💗
Hi Seonkyoung! I've actually been a follower for the past 6-7 years and I have always loved your content. Tbh, this video is a really refreshing video and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. How amazing you are for you to share your vulnerability. You always have shared i know, but this video was a bit different. I loved it and thank you so much for sharing. You made me feel lighter too just seeing you more refreshed!
Good for you. Money isn’t everything, it does provide security but…your mental state of mind, physical well being is way more important! For years I have enjoyed your cooking videos. All the best to you.
Hey gurl, you are just doing what you feel you should do. If you don't take care of yourself, how would you take care or Jacob, you mom and your sister? I recently also realised some stuff which made me stop and think an quit certain things. You shouldn't be sorry that you stopped "It's Cherry". You have given so much just through the pure content which you have generated. If you need to take a break from content creation, just take a break. Your fans will always support you =)
Thank you for being so generous and brave to share your story. You inspired me and made me remember what is most important. I can relate to all of this exactly, as well as this unbelievable burnout, and I also just put a stop to it. Looking forward to seeing more of my favourite cooking teacher on YT! Be happy always. Saranghae ❤
I applaud you for realizing this at a young age! That’s amazing. And I ALSO want just a simple peaceful life. Money does not equal happiness . I hope you find that peace!!! GO SEONKYOUNG!
Thank you for sharing your story, it felt sooo relatable and encouraged my mindset. 💖 I'm kindof in the same boat, figuring out how I want to live and make a living. But I know in the end I just want to be happy and that any decisions I make, new or old, helps me get there. 😌
Love you seonkuoung! You are inspiring! I just want to mention be careful when sitting at a low table esp sofa and table that causes bending over to eat . It may cause acid reflux in the long term -called GERD. My grandma has that she had done years of eating while watching tv over a low coffee table. It’s best to sit up right when eating to prevent that the sphincter from loosening up! Take good care!!❤
I say your doing great and go at your own pace and share the love of your life with others. there are always a few people that don’t resonate with that and that is because those are the people that do not belong in your life and they do not share that. everyone is different and some are similar. peace and love.
❤❤Good to see you and jacob doing well. What makes you happy and feel good about yourself,im with you.I needed too hear this for my own self, thank you for sharing..I love your home, soo peaceful...❤❤❤
You are so beautiful and brave for sharing the truth with us. That takes so much courage. I wish you both the best as you take these exciting new adventures!!! 🎉
You're for real, very authentic you. Do what you think is best for you. Keep fightin' 😊 Learned a lot from your vlog and still learning....thank you very much. Take care always.
You're definitely not a failure. It has been so painful seeing how unhappy you've been. I'm glad that you're going to reevaluate everything so that you can be happy again.
Do it yearly as a three month seasonal pop up. If it makes you money, and makes you happy, but that only lasts for a certain period - enjoy the period and stop.
Many of us don’t have the freedom of time, freedom of wealth, freedom to live and do as we please because we are slaves to a corporation. Some may say it’s by choice but I’d like to argue that it’s by design. Most of us don’t have a choice. You have that choice because of your platform. Go enjoy it!
haha 12 for me too… I didn’t see the result I wanted. just laying & being less active. I think one can have the best of both worlds by doing intermittent and omad and then maybe doing a 3 day water fast.
Have you tried Philippine mangoes? It taste good especially the ones from Guimaras!😊 Please share us the recipe of the chocolate cake, thank you!😃 I just want to share that I was happy and also a little bit worried for you before when you announced that you’ll be starting your food truck business, while still making videos because it will be more time consuming for you and in the end you may give up one or the other. I’m happy again for you that you clearly know what you really want right now. You can take regular breaks so that you won’t be burnout again. I’ll just be here to wait for you!😊❤️
I’m sorry you closed before I could fly to Maui and experience it! Need to share that your business was 100% solid on Yelp! But more love & success will come to you & Jacob! The love story with your friends here will continue!!!!
Your speaking in Korean about your realizations was so powerful and beautiful, I love your recipes and food channel but truly adore your vlogs. You and Jacob are such enlightened bright beautiful souls
You need to do what’s best FOR YOU! No one is living your life. Your life is yours to live. Best luck to you in whatever you do. I wish you happiness and peace ❤

Yep. Sometimes all we need is a vacation a break from monotonous work, editing the film thats your life, and being judged by entities in the world wide web / social media
Seonkyoung, we will surely follow your new adventures! Good luck!
I just don't want anyone to ever feel bad for something as silly (and fun) as content creation. Views don't make people truly loved or enriched. After everything is done you can't embrace it nor can it hug you when needed. Much love and positivity on your new adventures to you and yours
😊
Pregnant damages the body more than abortion, but people just don't talks about it.
Pregnant women should not fast. She just wants to be free and have less stress.
So true!! I'm much happier these days vs. the Last 3 years. Thanks to my mom for my glow skin!! Been glowing for 39 years. 🧖🏻♀️✨
Burnout is very real. Also, the constant comparison in today’s “social” world is so unhealthy. People will either like you or not but as long as you are doing what makes you truly happy, that’s all that matters! Thank you for your honesty and can’t wait to see what is next!
Love you! ❤️
I see you ❤❤
I see you ❤️🫶🏼
All of this was beautifully said .
I’m so proud of you too!! ❤️
Thank you for sharing this intimate part of your life journey. Defining success in our own terms…so much healthier than letting society do it.
One thing I’m learning right now and marinating in right now is the idea that success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.
Thank you & love you! 🫶🏼
Cheers!!
Yes…
Best to follow your hearts!
I'm still one of your big fans and excited to see videos of your journeys, foodies and recipes you wanna share :)
Much love and support!! 💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you so much!! ❤️🫶🏼
Travel vlogs are definitely coming!! 🥳
Walking away when thriving and instead choosing a less traveled path is bravery. Peace and serenity, the ultimate prize 👍
Seonkyoung, you are so brave to have made the decision that you believe to be best. And your smile is so lovely❤ Cheering you on!
Love y’all!! I’m sorry you are having such a hard time. Glad you finally realize your dream and being able to live that dream. ❤
I just want to let you know, If you have a chance to read my comment 😊
You are the FIRST English teacher for me!!
We only get once lifetime 😊 Do what you want, you have nothing to prove to anyone !! Good travels❤
Bella sprinting away at 1:23 is HILARIOUS! 💚💚💚
There's nothing wrong with following your heart. May you always be happy and full of adventures to come. Happy living, my friend. ❤
Love you!!! 🥹❤️
Thank you for sharing even when you’re so busy. It’s nice to follow your stories in Hawaii and around the world. ❤❤❤
Your food was great, we will miss eating it, but your happiness is also important! Fighting!
So true!
❤️❤️❤️
this is exactly what Gary V talks about ALL THE TIME!!
Can't agree more 🫶🏼
I was just telling My husband the other day some of the same things you talked about.
We love you! Take care of yourself!!! ❤❤
GOOD LUCK. Looking forward to seeing more adventures from you two. Hey, what happened to your other animals on the farm? Maybe you said in a video and I missed it, but if you see this, please let me know. Just curious 💗
We found them a better home 🫶🏼
Thank you for sharing. It's awesome and your stories and videos are inspiring. All the best to you guys❤
I say your doing great and go at your own pace and share the love of your life with others. there are always a few people that don’t resonate with that and that is because those are the people that do not belong in your life and they do not share that. everyone is different and some are similar. peace and love.
You didn’t fail. You chose to live your life differently. Good luck on your new adventures!
❤❤Good to see you and jacob doing well. What makes you happy and feel good about yourself,im with you.I needed too hear this for my own self, thank you for sharing..I love your home, soo peaceful...❤❤❤
I love how much more we're seeing Jacob! It's like he came out of his shell.
You are so beautiful and brave for sharing the truth with us. That takes so much courage. I wish you both the best as you take these exciting new adventures!!! 🎉
오랜만이네요 한글자막 잊지않고 넣어줘서 고마워요😊
Best wishes for your journey!!!
I hope you aren’t feeling sad or not enjoying making videos now. Your home on Maui is beautiful and you sure are living my dream.
You're for real, very authentic you. Do what you think is best for you. Keep fightin' 😊
Learned a lot from your vlog and still learning....thank you very much.
Take care always.
선경님의 진실되고 솔직한 모습에 저도 위로가 되었고 용기를 얻게 되었어요! 새로운 시작(?) 응원합니다 :)!
감사합니다!!! 앞으로도 열심히 할게요! 🥹❤️
That cake looks so yum! Best wishes on your travels!
I have water fasted 12 days before. About to do another after our Memorial Day Holiday.
haha 12 for me too…
I didn’t see the result I wanted.
just laying & being less active.
I think one can have the best of both worlds by doing intermittent and omad and then maybe doing a 3 day water fast.
Wow! That's incredibly long fast!! I think 40 hours are my best. Lol
Have you tried Philippine mangoes? It taste good especially the ones from Guimaras!😊
Please share us the recipe of the chocolate cake, thank you!😃
I just want to share that I was happy and also a little bit worried for you before when you announced that you’ll be starting your food truck business, while still making videos because it will be more time consuming for you and in the end you may give up one or the other. I’m happy again for you that you clearly know what you really want right now. You can take regular breaks so that you won’t be burnout again. I’ll just be here to wait for you!😊❤️
Good for you!! Best wishes to your adventures… I, too, would pick a different home base for traveling.
The best part of the video is when Husband Jacob said I love you .
I’m sorry you closed before I could fly to Maui and experience it! Need to share that your business was 100% solid on Yelp! But more love & success will come to you & Jacob! The love story with your friends here will continue!!!!
You are very brave for sharing with us! You did not fail; you had an adventurous learning experience!❤
❤ love to this couple ❤ such amazing kind people ❤❤❤❤
You are braver and stronger than you know! Congratulations and best wishes on you life’s next adventure.
I learned a lot of cooking from you and want to say thanks!
Your speaking in Korean about your realizations was so powerful and beautiful, I love your recipes and food channel but truly adore your vlogs. You and Jacob are such enlightened bright beautiful souls
Thank you so much!!❤️
I am learning that I want the same thing. I appreciate you sharing this journey, because I know it was not easy. Sending you love 💜💜
Aww the chickens are so cute. Still can’t get over the fact there are wild ones in Hawaii 3:17
