Same as you mate. Time is money and if I can, I will as long as not detrimental to the garden. Great vids.

Just subbed your channel. I personally work in the rain within reason. Bay Tree 🌳 looks a lot sharper after her trim. Regards Jim from J.S.G.S N.IRELAND. Strength and Honour 👊

Great video mate! I don't mind a bit of rain as long as I keep my flask topped up with tea ☕

I'll work in the rain depending on the job, but if the overall appearance will be worse then I'll reschedule

Would you please share what chemical you use for blite? I take care of boxwood here in Alabama and the blite has been bad the last two years. Thanks

TopBuxus do some great products, healthmix is good to help prevent blight, I also use liquid seaweed sometimes as it keeps the plant healthy, but water at the base of blight is present, so not to spread it. I’ll disinfect with bleach or citrox regularly when clipping too, this will help prevent the spread of blight 🙂

I imagine our climates are very similar. I live in Washington State in the USA. On the wet (west) side of the mountains we have 2 seasons. Rain and August. I always tell clients that if I didn't work in the rain I wouldn't have a job! There are exceptions of course. You have to be able to keep the quality where it needs to be.
So I'm taking it that you don't offer lawn service? I'm almost to that point. I have one client that I mow for.

I’ve refined work down to mainly just topiary and hedges now 🙂.. I do a few lawn cuts every now and then for people, but not on a regular basis 🙂

Nice video again Will. As much as its a pain, we usually just crack on, unless the weather will effect quality e.t.c or if its like a thunderstorm🤣 especially when employing people, you've just to get on with it!

Thanks mate! And definitely, I can see if you employ people as well it’s a different story again 🙂

    Great video Will👍🏼
I’m the same as you regarding the rain,if I can maintain the same level of quality then I’ll crack on.

Thanks Martyn! Sometimes you’ve just got to stick the waterproofs on and crack on.. it just seems to be most of the time at the moment 😅

Do you use your battery gear in the rain
Was that a husqvarna u used there
    Nice video
Yes we all work in the rain 👍🏻

    • @ExcelsisGardens

Yes I do use the husqvarna battery gear in the rain, that’s what I’m using in the video. I find the main thing is to make sure the terminals stay dry and don’t get wet, so changing batteries over in the van where it’s dry, and drying them off after use, I’ve never had any issues when doing this 🙂
