@@mikebara3437 Reed and Williams are both over 30 when the season starts and Murphy is 21. He will be better than both of them when he hits his peak. Don't think so short term. We just got a brand new, defensive head coach who now has two super young stars to build his new defense around in Spoon and Murphy.
Fantastic pick for the Seahawks. Biggest need for Seahawks was addressing the inside run defense and they did just that. Thanks to Atlanta for making that horrific pick at 8 for Penix Jr sending all the best defensive players down the draft board. This is just what the hawks needed. He can also play FB LOL!
Penix might be better than Caleb Williams, if he has a good OL in front of him. Bonix had a late second round to third round grade by many. He was the reach of the draft.

Drafting trenches always gets fans grumbling. Thing is top athletes at these positions are the difference on why teams make tough thirds downs or you stop them. We’ve been crap on important downs for 5 years. This is a start to building the team back up. Now go get a bad ass guard on the other side. Fans will grumble more but it will win games….

I’ve actually been thinking this same thing. Feel like MacDonald wants a more disciplined atmosphere than DK’s probably willing to contribute to. Curious if it’d be worth moving him in hopes to improve the OL and D. A trade to Buffalo could be good.
They literally struck out. This doesn’t improve the team at all. They should have traded down and taken Rattler. Nix was the smart pick for the Broncos. The teams that were “desperate” to get the quarterbacks were the smart ones. The Seahawks weren’t desperate for a quarterback. They should have been.

The biggest need for the Seahawks for the last three off-season’s has been getting a franchise quarterback to replace Russell Wilson.
They got one of the two players I was willing to stick and pick with so I can't complain.. very happy
