I’ve noticed WWE nowadays are all about entrances, but lack character and in ring story telling. It’s very boring, I can’t get on board with most characters these days.
Seth vs Punk didn’t live up to the hype, punk is at his limit and he’s the one being carried in matches let’s keep it 💯 The Rock doing pointless segments n Cody looking like a buffoon
The new intro for Raw by Travis Scott is boring. The matches were basic. Hogan and his beer were unnecessary. Rhea having to wait for The Undertaker to ride in was awkward. The Rock was meh. Cena was good. But over all the start of the "Netflix Era" was pretty lackluster and dull.
I enjoyed the entire show, it lived up to my expectations. the only thing that bugged me was Hulk Hogan being there. I was confused with Rock being face, but then again, they might be throwing out the Cody Rock feud for RockVRoman. That's just me though. Overall, show was a 9/10. Edit: chat, you don’t have to start a damn flame war. this is just my opinion.
I really wasn’t expecting anything that big from the first episode of Raw in Netflix. The Rock should had just done something different or continue his heel persona. But got to say that Roman vs Solo and CM Punk vs Seth were good matches.
It was def overhyped but still a good show they just catered to the casuals more . Can’t say it was a bad show . Also your HHH take is bad the promo is literally 2 secs and gets the crowd hype
You need to understand, it's just the first opening of RAW on Netflx, can't expect amazing things to happen straight away, it was good seeing former WWE superstars come join, only 2 people i wish did show up was Stephanie McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
It's like everything got rebooted like what you see with old movies getting new paint and being soulless. I was also disappointed in the show. Only plus will give it is how the arena looked and could see this remade in 2K25.
People getting disappointed while it's just a season premiere of Raw, the move to Netflix only set the bar for us fan's expectations like we started treating this like PLE just like Saturday Night's Main Event, this Raw is a W
Not goign to lie wwe is completely in the toilet right now in terms of excitement on the male wrestlers side it seem the most hype is cenas RETIREMENT match that’s not good honestly wwe need to just throw the belt on Logan Paul and let him be like pre Japan / pre Japan Logan let him be a good heal
This show didn’t feel like it was for the fans, looks like it was meant for the shareholders and investors and ads with some wrestling sprinkled in. Lame
Imo the Netflix debut show is nothing but a celebrity showcase and spectacle from the production standpoint but zero storyline progression for the road to WrestleMania or any sort of surprises
they made the RAW arena design feel so much like wrestlemania just for the stories and matches to be regular stuff. it feels too large and expensive for a weekly episodic tv show. smackdown's arena looks like a normal sized wwe arena for a show and then RAW feels like you are at the super bowl or something every week. and now the episodes are gonna be however long they need to be. So let's say I bought a ticket to a raw event and turns out the episode is only 45 minutes long, im asking for a refund.
I'm sick of people blaming the fans for being disappointed for yet another hyped up raw that blew. Every time WWE has an opportunity to capitalize on a huge amount of casuals tuning in, they always blow it. They never do anything to entice the fans to want to watch next week. They just dangle keys in front of their face and go "Hey look it's the Rock. He says hi."
WWE Raw was so mid, its was overhyped garbage, I thought we were getting something more grounded with twists and turns and no pun intended but some RAW storylines. Instead we got corporate capitalism and just how much money they care about making and how many lights they could buy for an event. This didn’t remind me of a wrestling, more like a hollow shell of what it used to be. I hope it’s not like this moving forward and For gods sake can Triple H just use metal music for the intro.
Let’s be real the best part of the show was definitely Hogan getting booed out of the building. Bro has more heat than Logan, Dom and the New Day combined LMAOOO 😂💀
Your disappointing, i liked you at first, but all you do is say 🤓☝🏻 sorry cody whrodes and then put some stupid ragebait in the video, your a critic and critics are the reason not just wwe but every form of entertainment struggles, it’s like you expect a wrestlemania level show every freaking week. show some respect.
Yeah, not feeling it either wrestling just doesn't have the appeal it once did for me man most of the new wrestlers just don't feel like stars the matches are all the same with all the same move sets and same spots every single time. Characters have no real depth because the writing is poor most of time. I miss watching wrestling though but the old stuff was really miles ahead I can't get into modern wrestling.
To be fair, it was basically a ppv. And that was the problem. Wwe ppvs suck nowadays. Too little matches, too many ads, this was no different. We only got 3 promos and one of them was from hulk hogan
Boy did it ever SUCK! I'm so disappointed in the rock. Seeing him simping for the fans, cody, and roman made me sick when in reality all he was really saying was "Sorry fans I'm done wrestling. I've always chosen hollywood over you and I dont have time for you as usual. I only wrestled at wrestlemania 41 because there was a hollywood writer's strike." Cena was right about the rock. Look at John Cena. That dude cleared his entire 2025 schedule to wrestle in WWE. Now thats a wrestler who cares about his fans. I'm not even a Cena fan, but I'm rooting for him this year. The rock can go p*ss off. I hope he never comes back. He should've never beat Cody. I also hate how WWE and The Rock totally flipped the script. The last time Rock seen Cody he said when he came back he was going to kick his a&&. Now we're supposed to act like that never happened. SMH I'll never pay for netflix now to watch wwe. Thankfully I just watched youtube clips.
John cena wasnt right about nothing at all everything he hated the rock for he became which is a part timer john hasnt done anything for the past three years hasnt done nothing for wwe but put over weak talent the rock has done more for wwe in the past year than cena has but fans think cena deserves a title shot without earning it 😂

This was a spectacle. It wasn't a regular raw show. Triple h said he had the "end" of storylines because its gonna continue next week. Basically its a real wwe day 1. Its a new direction and a fresh start. Roman, rhea, punk, all got to finish a chapter and now next week the new chapters begin. Every week from now on is must watch. Who is Cena gonna fight? Who will punk face? Will Orton turn heel? We dont know !!
I didn’t like it for these reasons: -It KILLED any momentum for Roman vs Rock or Rock vs Cody -All the scrapped segments -A 3 hour show with only 4 matches is beyond crazy -Unnecessary stars with unnecessary segments (yes I know it’s marketing) Saying that we expected too much is also crazy considering they’ve been hyping up this episode ever since it was announced.
Maybe we used to have everything immediately in WWE, we need to learn again that we watching a storyline where heel turn, face turn, new rivaries, returns needs their time so we doesn't have better episode in the following weeks, months. For example The Rock could easly turn on Roman at the Royal Rumble so let's just wait and give time.

Why is it “don’t get your expectations too high” why can’t we expect a good wrestling show and for them to exceed and be better then what we expected wwe fans are so used to excepting mediocre bs and I’m not saying the show was bad but we can’t lie to ourselves and say it wasn’t a little disappointing
It wasn’t…..and I’m not lying to myself either. You see the difference in expectations? People have different ideas of what’s good. You didn’t have high expectations when u started watching wrestling and you enjoyed it, the casual fan thought this show was amazing, yall are thinking like Bookers when you don’t have to, it kills your enjoyment
@ you have a point and this weeks raw in my opinion was better then week 1
Fuck what y’all say. I enjoyed it.
Cena making himself the underdog again gives me PTSD from 20 years ago when Cena believed he couldn't beat the Big Show since he was 500 pounds, couldn't beat Kurt Angle in a submission match since he doesn't have a submission, cant beat Nexus or win any handicap match since he's outnumbered.......then Super Cena kicks in
He’s 47………….He’s the underdog again
@ugobrown2357 Goldberg was over 50 when he won the title both times
The show was AVERAGE AF. And we didn't our hopes they got our hopes you can spend months building this as the best raw episode to date and not deliver. Im glad they ended slot storylines that were starting to get bland but if the whole point was to bring new viewers they failed because you needed context for every storyline they played on raw nothing new to keep a person who doesn't watch wwe religiously staying.
They treated it like an ad for Raw on Netflix, but you're already watching Raw on Netflix. They should have put on a show to make people wanna come back next week, but I do not. There were what, 3 or 4 matches in a 3 hour show?
3 matches and I agree
I agree with you, the show is really a disappointment
Maybe because i was expecting something will happened between roman and rock or cody and roman
Also liv losing to hhh favorite rhea
Boring segments
Yeah even if your expectations are low this show is a boring raw.
No pleasing the fans no a days.
I've been very happy w WWE in the last year. I'm just real. This was a disappointing show

WWE does congratulate/glaze themselves a lot
I’ve noticed WWE nowadays are all about entrances, but lack character and in ring story telling. It’s very boring, I can’t get on board with most characters these days.
Yup. It's just that some of the fans are just now catching on to this
Calling themselves attitude era 2.0 and miles better than Ruthless aggression era is the biggest joke
Rhea and Liv was supposed to be last woman standing, why did we get a 10 minute boring match?!!
So Punk could win his match.
Seth vs Punk didn’t live up to the hype, punk is at his limit and he’s the one being carried in matches let’s keep it 💯 The Rock doing pointless segments n Cody looking like a buffoon
This in my opinion was just a PR Stunt
The new intro for Raw by Travis Scott is boring. The matches were basic. Hogan and his beer were unnecessary. Rhea having to wait for The Undertaker to ride in was awkward. The Rock was meh. Cena was good. But over all the start of the "Netflix Era" was pretty lackluster and dull.
it was just raw you’re expectations were so high
They gived us expectations
@ what could they have done differently?
This show felt too corporate for me. Breaking kayfabe, ads upon ads, and no new storylines were built. Wasn't this supposed to be a mini WrestleMania?
Idk where you guys got that idea from.

I enjoyed the entire show, it lived up to my expectations. the only thing that bugged me was Hulk Hogan being there.

Overall, show was a 9/10.
Edit: chat, you don’t have to start a damn flame war. this is just my opinion.
If this is a 9/10 show than I wouldn't want to see a 7/10 show. Goodness the standards have dropped

This show wasn't suppose to to have 50 million plot twist,it wasn't made for hardcore fans,it was made to shoclwcase wwe to new fans ,which it did
Travis Scott is wild for what he did during Jey's entrance. 😂 To me, One of the highlights of the show.
Definitely a high light
Imo the highlight of the show fr
You mean Travis snot
I skipped that crap. What did he do? All I saw him do is stand and smoke.
@CentauriSatoko That's all he did. For some reason, people think that's the coolest thing ever
"Can't say it was a bad show" You're right. We cant. It was a HORRIBLE show!

And all the faces won once again, and everyone were happy in wonderland, thank you Triple Face
Not goign to lie wwe is completely in the toilet right now in terms of excitement on the male wrestlers side it seem the most hype is cenas RETIREMENT match that’s not good honestly wwe need to just throw the belt on Logan Paul and let him be like pre Japan / pre Japan Logan let him be a good heal
you dare say it's going in the toilet and want Logan Paul as champion
This show didn’t feel like it was for the fans, looks like it was meant for the shareholders and investors and ads with some wrestling sprinkled in. Lame
Imo the Netflix debut show is nothing but a celebrity showcase and spectacle from the production standpoint but zero storyline progression for the road to WrestleMania or any sort of surprises
Hogan would have gotten a pop in a southern state him coming out for Trump just made another reason to hate hogan
I’m sorry but these suggestions sound terrible breaker and undertaker no please 🤢
they made the RAW arena design feel so much like wrestlemania just for the stories and matches to be regular stuff. it feels too large and expensive for a weekly episodic tv show. smackdown's arena looks like a normal sized wwe arena for a show and then RAW feels like you are at the super bowl or something every week. and now the episodes are gonna be however long they need to be.
Pllana I always love watching your videos! Sometimes I run them in the background when im driving!
In France it started at 2 a.m., I hesitated to stay up since I was working on the morning, I decided to sleep, no regrets 😅
It was RAW... wasn't a major PLE. It felt like it was supposed to. A hyped up version of a weekly program
A TERRIBLE hyped up version of a weekly program Fixed it for ya
It’s more mediocrity.
I don't think it would rlly make sense If Paul Heyman just showed up with Roman Reigns . And then , Paul Heyman go quick to The Rock .

Finally, someone had a ball to say the truth, Raw on Netflix was trash, so much so for a mini Wrestlemania, my ass.
You have no idea what trash I'm gonna assume you didn't experience 2019 WWE.
I’m so glad you didn’t book anything cause your ideas wasn’t any good this episode was great
To be fair, it was basically a ppv.
John cena wasnt right about nothing at all everything he hated the rock for he became which is a part timer john hasnt done anything for the past three years hasnt done nothing for wwe but put over weak talent the rock has done more for wwe in the past year than cena has but fans think cena deserves a title shot without earning it 😂
This show felt like it was co-produced by Vince

This was a spectacle. It wasn't a regular raw show. Triple h said he had the "end" of storylines because its gonna continue next week. Basically its a real wwe day 1. Its a new direction and a fresh start. Roman, rhea, punk, all got to finish a chapter and now next week the new chapters begin. Every week from now on is must watch. Who is Cena gonna fight? Who will punk face? Will Orton turn heel? We dont know !!
