*sings* ... on the first day of Computex.... christiano amon said to me.... TWELVE NEW SNAPDRAGON ELITE X CHIPS.... 11 TERRAFLOPS.... 10 GIGS OF RAM..... hahah
When it comes to optimization chrome vs edge vs firebox vs opera vpn vs samsung internet browser there is a big gap both in terms of performance and the way these browsers handle the content .
They made their marketing 7 months ago, with the promise they will sold it 6 months later.. so in that time window even the M4 launched, so their initial comparison with M2 actually also outdated..
If QCOM didn't publish any of their numbers, do you think Intel and AMD would have even done anything so drastic? Highly doubt it. Thanks for pushing the market QCOM.
@@arzsupra Of course they would. Such changes to products takes waaay more time to do than simply 'reacting' to another announcement in a few months. It's actually QCOM that deliberately announced early to catch some spotlight before the competition rolled out their already planned announcement and releases.
@@arzsupraMicrosoft announced a while back to their hardware partners that AI features on Windows would require atleast 40 TOPS. The rumours at the time was Windows 12 would be released specifically for AI.
If Intel and AMD chips have the power efficiency (to be tested later) then it’s game over for Snapdragon since it would have no advantage. Need to really see some real world tests between all of the new chips!
This is nothing more than some old guys with horrible accents reading the copy from their own websites. If you know why you're here, you already know more than you'll learn here.
this is like comparing integrated graphics vs dGPU on laptops. For gamers you have to go with dGPU but expect much less battery life. If you are dealing with intesnsive AI workloads and don't care about battery life then Your RTX GPU wins. For thinks like windows recall that is constantly watching what you are doing. then an NPU is better because it barely sucks any power.
@@djayjpyes it also has terrible battery life unless you just want to keep it plugged in. Also it’s not clear Windows Co-pilot+PC code will use NPU exclusively or steal processing from the GPU. If they stick to NPU in order to help their chip partners then the GPU tops is pretty useless for the local AI Microsoft OS will do. All this needs testing to see what the OS will really use and ignore in terms of overall processing TOPS between GPU and NPUs. Even Intel is trying to say their overall TOPS is 120 TOPS but no one has data on which processor will really be used yet.
I would love a comparison once all these products are out (Intel Lunar Lake, Snapdragon X, AMD Zen 5, and Apple M3/M4.) It is a fun year for PC.

i really hope that the x elite can pair up with a dedicated gpu
does it windows can run android apps without doing any emulation?
Didn’t AMD launch with 50TOPS

No XPS15 ?? huh..

I heard San-sung
Steve Jobs said it first. Performance per watt.
I cant wait for the ai to play the game for me. Jk
Or the AI can play as the he enemies in the game. So smarter enemies to provide a tougher challenge.
Somebody teach this guy to say "actually"
The old guy from apple must be saying "Oh Oh, we are going to get bited like an apple". And now with AI we have a worm in the fruit.

I dont understand any of the comments...google on light speed...smh
Did they make this guys boss just so they could laugh at his terrible pronunciation?
I'm laughing out of these TOPs nonsense. My mid range RTX GPU has like 10 times more TOPS than they are hyping here lol
It's performance per watts. So you can have long battery if AI is everywhere in windows

4060 mobile has 233 TOPs. So like 5x more.
