Mine has a brown learn button and I’m having a hard time programming a new control to it because I can’t find any garage door openers with a brown learn button code. Any suggestions?
Does this model have a battery backup? Ours is emitting a chirp every minute or so but I can't seem to see any type of battery that needs to be replaced.
this one doesnt have a battery but if yours is beeping every minute it probably does. @@LukeDoorMan thanks but, I don't see where the existing one is (owners manual doesn't mention it either!)! It looks just like the one you reviewed yet it's still chirping! Guess I'll have to call someone.
Question about the belt drive.. would you know the life span of the belt? I've got a belt drive door opener.. had it since about 2010 ish.. never been replaced nore adjusted.. and it's the one that was with the door opener from new. you see in my videos
@@LukeDoorMan oh umm well umm about 5yrs ago I checked the door arm springs on it and they seemed pretty good at that time.. and was told if the door can stay open on its own with the door arm in the 9am and the 3pm position then the door arms springs are in good condition.. through just recently about a week ago I did the emergency cord pull n opened it again on its own and put it to the 9am and 3pm position and it wouldn't stay there at all and it did about 5yrs ago.. now if I let let go it would just go down and slam shut.. the door is a one peace two car garage door with metal frame work on the door edge and inside of it as you can see in the videos.. door came with the house in about 1997 ish.. hope this info helps in some way
@@LukeDoorMan one thing I should've said is.. it's the UK version of the one peace door not the USA one peace door. Mine isn't a sectional garage door.. tho I wish it was cos I so love the sectional doors.. to me they are one of the best to have in life.... how do u adjust the door arm springs?

sometimes the buttons on these fade. If the model number is the same as this one, itll be a purple button opener

Another question about the belt drive.. I think I saw white grees on the belt if I'm right? Does that make a difference in general to the belt?
Grease on the belt is a good thing

Belt lifespans depend mainly on the door that they’re lifting. If the door is well balanced the belt should last a pretty long time

@@TubeTV-uz7vc if it’s a one piece door belt drives are not good options for those doors also it sounds like your door needs the springs adjusted
