i’m working on my first build now and have acquired most of the parts, but i’m stuck on the chassis and the hilt. i can 3d print my own chassis, but i’m having trouble designing it because i’m relatively new to 3d design, and i’m having the same issue with the hilt, which i may end up building out of plumbing hardware to save myself the trouble. any tips?

I have dealt very little with drawing and have never 3D printed. I also have not done many scratch builds and I don’t have machining experience. Those are the main reasons that I like doing customized installs. I like using what other people have produced and changing it to fit my style. Someday I will branch into those skillsets, but for now I will defer to people who have the experience. If you don’t mind joining the Facebook group linked in the description, there are a lot of people there with the experience and knowledge to answer these questions thoroughly.
