ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

Those two seem like they would be best friends if not for their families. Also it's obvious during the flashback that they were very happy to perform with each other and Pran kept looking at Pat and Pat was smiling when the teacher announced that Prat was going to be the vocalist. They basically had no rivalry other than what was fed to them since little by their families, and they still managed to see past their families hate.
Well said, they were rivals but it wasn't hate, also this rivalry was forced by their parents. When entering in high school they were neutral (since Pran saved Pa) and then friends when they had to work together with the band. Just one thing that I'm wondering it's, are the bandmates/Pat's friends aware of their friendship because during ep 12 2/4 Pat's bandmate says "don't you want to hit him" talking about Pran so I'm a bit confused.
It happened to me too, me and my cousins were very close but due to rivalry between our parents we barely even talk to each other now and they also turned out like their parents eventually:(

The way Pran's expression changes while listening to Pat's dad was mind-blowing. At first he was just anxious, then turned in anger to sadness. He is aware of his feelings for Pat, but quickly realized there are place for his feelings. Nanon's acting is setting the bar so high for any other Bl show. Both Ohm and Nanon, they never over act. They act just the right the amount.
my only problem with this series is how illogical their friends are when it comes to fights 😂😂

What I like about this drama is that they don't force one of them to be more 'girly' or 'feminine', they're just equals. Another thing is that this actually isn't cringe and the acting looks natural. I've watched other thai bls before and something about them makes me so cringe at times due to certain cliches and unnatural dynamics from the leads, bad buddy doesn't have much of that

Rewatching this, I get a sense of the enormous pressure the parents put on their kids. Both Pat and Pran are uncommonly good sons, pushing themselves hard trying to make their parents proud. They're expected to be best in everything, for the sake of their parents' reputation. On the surface, Pat and Pran seem to have comfy lives and all the material wants of this world, but in fact they're both suffocating, and they alone can understand what the other is going through.
Also, Pat's dad thinking he was slow to open the door because he must be masturbating, and telling him to play some sports instead, was hysterical.

Even though Pran is a stickler for being clean and "proper", he's not boring at all. In fact I really like him, he's definitely not weak and is the most reasonable character in the series besides Pa ✨

it's most likely because pran's family is "formal" and "respectable" and would think that pat is a bad influence because of his reputation plus their familes are always head-to-head against each other.
just my theory, after pran saved pa, they probably became secretly friends and thats how they got close. i feel like pran had a crush on pat in high school(or they had smth going on) but pran’s mother found out( probably caught pat visiting pran at night) and she was not okay with it and told pran to stay away from pat. So when she saw them together she was mad and made him transfer. Could explain why she was mad at her son , not at pat(since she was suppose to blame pat for getting close to her son, or yell at his parents). Also pat is feeling guilty for prans departure in high school, maybe because he thinks its his fault for their “thing” or pran’s crush on him.
The thing i could confirm for you is that it true they are getting close to each other during highschool band…and after pran saving paaa they are no longer truly despise each other . And yes pran feeling gradually develop when they were in the highschool together you can tell that pran already love pat ever since day 1… this is base on synopsis cause the novel is really different

I feel sad for Pran but imagine being Pat, carrying all the guilt just by existing and wanting to be friends with Pran. He was always the first one to approach Pran and you can see in him that he is the first one to back off even if it seems like he's arrogant and all. Yes, Pran saved his sister but aside from that he also knows in his heart that he doesn't hate Pran. He's feeling the guilt because at the back of his head he knows Pran will never intend to hurt him and it makes it hard for him to hate Pran (just like his parents want him to do) because he knows that Pran is a good-hearted man. You see Pat's reaction when he saw the sadness in Pran's eyes after his father insulted Pran and his family? Pat's hurt, he wanted Pran to not take it to heart but it's already too late.
He also thinks getting even with Pran will take the guilt away but his character shows more than that. He cares for Pran, he cares for his feelings. But all these are being clouded by the thought that they shouldn't be friends.
Pat and Pran have their own sufferrings, quitely battling the trauma of the situation they're in in their heads.

the drummer, transferring him in the middle of a school year, forcing him to leave whatever life he built behind, because of YOUR adult issues that you couldn't handle properly. I love the attention to small details here, when Pran was sad the lights was sad too, but when he's happy the lights are smiling. It's a very small detail but it's really amazing
This means that Pran was already in love with Pat since they were little, he kept the broken watch, he fixed it so he could wear it and the song he sang in the class presentation was about what he felt. This is getting more intense and I can't wait 1 more week to see the next episode. 😭😭😭
