I love how you give your thoughts on the positives and negatives based on the actual experience using the bag. I also love that you dont want to exchange the bag because it has sentimental value for you although LV tried to offer you an exchange for the new one despite of 1 year of use.. such a great genuine review . I have this bag. The GM is ridiculously big that I barely use it🙃 It’s a great size for an overnight bag. Glad I’m not the only one who hates the straps too!
I love when people come back on products to discuss how it worked. Unboxings are great but we need to know the durability which is what you did here. And I was concerned about those straps. They don’t look like they will hold long for the size of the bag and amount you will carry over time.

It really is! It makes traveling so much easier.
I have had about 4 LV neverfull GMs in the Damier Ebene from different time periods. People seem to think this is a carefree bag but really isn’t. The leather on this bag just does not wear well. The straps have multiple issues. Usually, the glazing right above the chaps cracks and eventually tears into the leather. If not that, the straps crack and then the coated leather chips off. The corners of the coated canvas do not wear well and the red from the lining comes through. Not worth what they are now. The most I have paid was $1195 preloved. Never would I pay more. I think the monogram canvas wears much better and I love vachetta, so each to his own. 22:07

I just purchased this bag for my girlfriend online yesterday! This video has been extremely helpful!! Thank you for all the information and attention to detail. LV as a brand won me over a couple years ago when my girlfriend brought her wallet in as her button was scratched and they replaced it on the spot. When you are spending so much money its nice to know a brand such as LV backs their quality. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!
You know I never was a fan of the Neverfull. I think because I’m not a tote fan. However, I wanted the On the Go tote for work so badly but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money for a work bag. I’m glad I didn’t because once I returned to work I realized I didn’t like large bags anymore. I used to carry my large Speedy but I don’t like it anymore since the pandemic. I’m a small crossbody girl now. The Neverfull does look like a good travel bag. I ended up getting the large Telfar Shopping bag as a travel bag because of the price. The Neverfull is definitely a classic though…As far as the peeling of the straps, I experienced the same thing on my Speedy and I have literally had to have the straps repaired twice. The first within 6 months and the second time within 10 months. Mind you I have a vintaged Speedy that still looks perfect. Their quality isn’t the same.
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Thank you as your review really made me nervous about buying it as everyone is complaining of straps . Also unlike the monogram if it peels it looks bad. I might as well get the graceful but that too has strap issues so monogram it is 😊

I can afford a luxury bag here or there if I decided to take the leap now that kids are grown but this why I’m so skeptical or anxious on spending that much money and this bag peels easily but good review
And I heard that Dooney and Bourke using the same factory that LV meaning the bags with their signature letters are one in the Same material one says DB and the other says LV
Exactly! The bag costs too much for that kind of a problem and so soon too. And you know what that wouldn’t surprise me I had some Dooney and Bourke bags back in the day and always liked them and thought they were good bags for the price.

Girl, if you’re paying $2000 plus for a bag it should last 3 to 5 years without any problems. Nothing should be chipping on that bag.
If other brands can figure out how to do it for $150-$500, why can’t these luxury brands do it.
I just sold my PM and I’m debating a GM but everybody keep saying it’s too big for me

I don't think you should be so hard on yourself. Just recently I was watching a daytime talk show and this woman and her cousin inherited her grandmother's bag closet. She said her grandmother had four bag closets. One for each season and they were all replica bags purchased from LYXBAG .

I would like to know if I should get this or the Graceful for my wife for Christmas. She is an attorney and commutes from Jersey to Brooklyn three days a week. She takes the ferry to the subway into Brooklyn. I wanted her to be able to carry her laptop in the bag as well, assuming I went with the NF. Any suggestions?
Hi! Both are great bags however I would still suggest the Neverfull. I believe you get more bang for your buck as far as space, versatility and longevity compared to the Graceful. As a journalist I am able to fit my laptop, notebooks and more into my Neverfull. I’ve taken it to court with me no problem and it truly is a great bag to use for travel and longer commutes. Hope that helps!
