I use a rolling bag for work because I carry heavy stuff and no way am i sacrificing my shoulders to carry work equipment, lol. Thank you for the honest review! I love these for travel though because I can just dig right in and grab what i need as opposed to unzipping.

Oh and you are so right, I do think a majority of these bags when i see them are fake, whether they are or not. The replicas for these are very convincing and it is a bummer to see so many of them if you’ve paid the actual price for one of these.

The gm was my first lux bag! I have monogram but I just love it. Mine is double or more the age of your bag (bought used...wow like almost 10 years ago...whatttt) it just seems like every year they get worse and worse in quality. They are rated to hold a few hundred pounds if I remembered correctly. I've never gotten that close but I've put more than enough in it and no troubles. But I agree the strap is too thin! They should add or sell an add on of a shoulder pad you could snap on and off the handles.
It's such a great versatile bag! I love mine it's just sooooo expensive now for what you get! I remember when I bought it telling the French SA that I would eventually use as baby bag and he said er no you can not put a baby in this bag 🤣

I love my neverfulls. However I think the leather vachetta is softer and wears nicely overtime. I’d like to collect the damier Ebene but the straps can dig in your shoulder for that reason. Cuyana has nice leather totes and I have them ❤
That happened to me with my DE speedy 30 that I bought around 2013 for about $850. Within a few months the handle was tacky and sticking together (I was Summer and very hot). I bought it back to LV right away. It took a while to get the bag back but they replaced the handles for free.
No matter if it's the *preluxscom* or any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack's looks or the metal constituents.

Its a Beautyful but in some ocations y think the same for the réplicas but if you like to have the original and the good canvas Would be try with a secondhand bag its original its a good canvas not that the today and more cheap

There’s always counterfeits but what matters is yours is real. Straps are a concern n you are right about the price. But if your wear and tear is a lot you can repair it. Problem is people overload this as they make it their workhorse but it’s a luxury bag and should be rested like one.

Aww man. I wanted the damier just because it doesn't have a lot of LV lettering on it and also the handle is dark so I won't have to worry about staining it. BUTTT, I was afraid the edges would come off and it does 🙁 For a high end brand, that really sucks. I'll look into the YSL, thanks!

It is the “glazing” paint that is coming off, not leather. And, this has been an issue across LV bag types that have glazing.
My monogram neverfull has the same problem-the glazing on the edge of the straps started to come off after I carrying it for just less than 10 times...😢

I have always wanted a real neverfull but girl got bills lol I recently got a 1:1 quality from #pimpbagz and i absolutely love the quality and i saved thousands and got a quality bag . Low income earners too deserve to wear something nice without any judgement . Just Sharing Yall

What’s happening to your straps is melting glazing. Louis Vuitton has taken back thousands of Pochette Matisse with the same problem. I would think they would call it a defective item and give you a new one. What they have done with Pochette Matisse with melting glazing is offered a credit to the customer equivalent to the value of what the bag they are returning sells for at the time of return.
Love *preluxscom* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
