    UPDATE: so it seems I have posted content that is against TH-cam’s monetization policy (too many noise videos that are too similar I guess for TH-cams standards 🤷‍♂️) - which unfortunately means that I cannot disable mid roll ads anymore. My apologies if you are seeing any! It says I can reapply in a month, so I will be trying to mix it up with future uploads so I can disable them. TH-cam isn’t built for noise connoisseurs who appreciate the subtle differences I guess haha. Anyhow my apologies if you are seeing any ads in the middle of videos. Hopefully I can get them disabled again in the future!

      Eek! That's a tricky one for your channel - sorry to hear that! Did you try making an appeal video?

    • @OttosHealingSounds
      @OttosHealingSounds  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@KevinPondMeditation I didn’t unfortunately. I thought it was because I had created a video by looping a noise from epidemicsound (which I subscribe to for sound effects and made mention of in the description) that caused the issue, so I deleted that video only to realize that invalidated me from making an appeal video. As it goes. It’s more the inability to turn off mid roll ads that’s unfortunate as it really doesn’t make for a great sleeping experience. I’m going to make some “behind the scene” making of noise videos and then try and reapply haha. The world of TH-cam monetization is a new one to me so hopefully I get it sorted!

    • @KevinPondMeditation
      @KevinPondMeditation ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OttosHealingSounds What did they say the issue was, repetitious content, or reused content, or something else?
      I had to jump through those hoops a few months ago so I feel your pain!

    • @OttosHealingSounds
      @OttosHealingSounds  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@KevinPondMeditation reused content, which is why I initially deleted the other video based on TH-cam’s “dos” and “don’ts” but I assumed that since I was subscribed to epidemic sounds, it would be fine. But it’s all kind of unclear if that’s the issue, or if it’s just a catch all for noise channels until proven otherwise haha. I just assumed that since there was no copyright flags and people were watching, then it was all above board. I’m going to create a channel trailer and show the process when I reapply. But that’s great you successfully navigated those hoops. Its surprising to me that your channel was demonetized at all.

    • @KevinPondMeditation
      @KevinPondMeditation ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@OttosHealingSounds It's good that it's not 'repetitious content' - that would be tricky for your channel. If you get refused again in a month's time I would suggest you make a very detailed appeal video that shows your entire content creation process from start to finish - making sure you tick all the boxes they ask for - and also focusing heavily on any sound engineering you do that 'adds significant value' to any source files you are using.
      That to me is the most important point in my opinion - 'adding significant value' to any stock material you use.
      If you are starting from scratch, creating an audio file in audacity and then making a lot of adjustments with EQ, reverb etc etc. then hopefully that will be enough to satisfy them.
      if you are taking stock audio from epidemic, that should be ok too, you just have to show all the steps you take to make that audio file different from the original.
      Hope that's helpful!

    this is actually my first youtube comment at 25, but i read that you'd like to hear from your fans! i very much enjoy your sounds, it's just never quite right with any other channel. so pleased with the options we have to peruse and experiment, i don't know what youtube is talking about. the nuances of your differing sounds are the best part! i am glad to read that someone else echoes my sentiment: the second best part is the descriptor of the sound, it soothes me as i'm selecting to know exactly what i will be experiencing. your velvety descriptions give me a cozy feeling and i can always count on you to lull me to sleep.

    • @OttosHealingSounds
      @OttosHealingSounds  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Wow I’m honoured and humbled. Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so happy to hear that these sounds are helping you relax and find sleep. I couldn’t agree more that those subtle differences in frequencies and tone are what makes the difference. I’m hopeful that TH-cam agrees as unfortunately without being monetized, I’m unable to control the advertising which means I cannot turn off those annoying mid roll adverts. Hopefully I can appeal it next time! Thanks again for the kind comment and for the support. I will have some more videos to upload soon!

    This is one of the best noise tracks I've ever felt! It's the soundtrack to my snoozy brain every night now.
    P.S. I sometimes try your other noise mixes, but I always go back to this one! There's something especially pleasant about it.

    It's definitely has the Goldilocks effect of background sounds. Not too pink, not too white. It's just right. I'm curious if anyone know the frequency. Thanks for this very healing sound!

    This sound is like heaven in my ears. I use it to get my 6 month old son to fall asleep but it always put me out too lol. This is my favorite pink noise and the green added to it made it in my opinion the best sound compared to all the other choices this one is just perfect it’s not so harsh it’s very soft and very gentle. Can’t wait to see more from this channel as I’m now a subscriber 😊💗🌹

    What do the different colors mean, Is it just to catalog the sounds?

    • @OttosHealingSounds
      @OttosHealingSounds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More or less. They do reference a colour of noise (so like pink noise, brown noise and I’ll layer those) but I play around with the eq until I find something I like. But in the end, yes it’s more for just cataloging and differentiating the videos.

    • @OttosHealingSounds
      @OttosHealingSounds  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have! th-cam.com/video/sw99wqyHsn8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JNzcGHEoyqPzGkbd although it’s definitely higher frequency… so I find the blue is very pronounced, especially on smaller speakers.
