Cristiano’s over-powered PR is a bit unfair to other players, especially Bale during this final. His overhead kick should have its own corner in Real Madrid’s museum, its just not appreciated enough, sadly.

The saddest thing is that karius was an excellent goalkeeper but in the final his nerves killed him, and then his career went downhill.
He wasn’t excellent but he wasn’t bad either. At the end of the day if a keeper is struggling with his confidence a mistake will usually happen. Sad to see this effect his career the way it did.
It also hurt that minutes before the first mistake, he got a concussion and continued for 45 more mins

I wish people would realize that Karius actually suffered a concussion from Sergio Ramos elbow shortly before his first mistake and played the whole game with impaired spatial vision, simply not at a 100%. It's pretty devastating to learn this one game literally ruined his whole career after maintaining a clean sheet for 6 consecutive games in the CL before that game.

This was an amazing game but what rly caught my eyes watching this was watching Real have Marcos Llorente, Hakimi, Theo Hernandez and kovacic on the bench/reserves when they lift the cup. A team of stars yes but a lot of talent gone missing

Cr7s bicycle kick was extraordinary perfection the height he performed and the contact was perfectly into the bottom corner. As good as bales bicycle kick was it doesn’t stand out from other bicycle kicks besides being in the champions leauge final. He didn’t get his foot perfectly on the ball and it’s harder to put it into the bottom corner from that height. Again one of the best goals of that year from bale but Ronaldo’s one was just different
