It's madness to me how many try and play these two off against each other. Generations normally have one phenom and several world class players just behind them. Players, pundits and more so fans passing the torch from one great to the next. These two though, they didn't do it traditionally, one didn't step aside and pass the torch. I started watching football in the very early 90s, so I can only comment on those I've saw.... And I've saw some absolute beasts. Zidane, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo(9), Henry, Rivaldo, I could go on and on... These two though, wow, they've been so tremendous to watch and the best footballers, I personally have ever witnessed in my time.
They changed football forever… and I feel blessed to have been in the same era to see this happen… I have been following football for over 2 decades and the distance between these two and the rest is unbelievable
