    This is it ladies and gents! The first REAL day of riding in Scotland. And WHAT a day it was!
    We started off in Loch Lomond and headed through about 200 miles of amazing twisties, snaking glorious through Lochs, mountains and valleys.
    Easily the most enjoyable days riding in the UK for me to date.
    Enjoy and please do let me know in the comments what you think!
    Cheers, Andy. x

    I have saved everyone of your NC500 videos, because of the beautiful scenery, and of course, your superb riding. I was in Scotland in 2013, and am way overdue for another visit. Thank you for providing these amazing videos.

    Hi Andy,
    You amaze me...your patience must know no bounds. At least four cameras + a drone, massive editing job 🎥✂️👍.
    Give yourself a well earned pat on the back for your efforts and dedication to posting amazing videos.
    The riding and scenery looked absolutely epic👍❤️. Some of the valley passes were reminiscent of Norway...simply stunning 😀.
    Thanks for riding the road twice.
    Great to see you posting once again 👍👍👍.
    You’re a Champion.
    Cheers

      @AndyManCam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You sir, are a gent. I probably spend a little too much time messing with these videos. But when somebody notices the finer details, it’s all worth it! The scenery was second only to the Alps so far! And don’t mention the second and third passes of Glen Garry. It was the least we could do! 😁

    • @peterhird3542
      @peterhird3542 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Andy you deserve the recognition for all your efforts. I know the frustrations that accompany such an endeavour. Your attention to detail shines through and that’s what separates the mediocre from the extraordinary 👍🎥❤️.
      And that’s not even mentioning the soundtrack that makes the viewer just sit back and relax as if we’re all riding pillion with you.
      Love it 👍

    Just a word of warning that the motorcycles accident and collision rate has increased since the opening of the NC 500 so don't be in to much of a hurry to see it all in one day. Just take it easy and enjoy the views and don't rush it. Its some of the worlds best scenery and its a shame to pass by it too quickly, take your time, take it easy and then sit back relax and enjoy Scotland. Many of the roads have a speed limit of 50 mph and they are that for a reason. It's safer to travel that little bit slower than faster, for all other road users and not just ourselves.

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks JJ. It’s inevitable I guess. More bikes mean that statistically, there has to be more bike accidents. Agree that the views are more important that hooning around like a maniac!

    Great video - some of my most favourite roads.
    I did have a wee chuckle, you're hanging of your bike like a chimp swinging from tree to tree, and Ian is sitting bolt-upright and making the same progress.
    Glen Coe never fails to move me.

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks LeChardon. Glen Coe was pretty special. Don’t forget that although Ian was making the same progress, he was on the edge of his Tyres with nowhere further to go. Climbing off reduces the lean angle for, as you said, the same progress. So given the need, i would have had a good few more degrees of lean available and therefore more cornering in the tank. Also by reducing the lean angle, you tend to increase the size of the contact patch while also reducing the offset between the point of contact and the centerline of the wheel/bike. This also reduces the amount of strong forces needed to maintain the corner.

    I must get back up to Scotland! It's been 17 years since I went on a 6 day tour, taking my (then) 13-year-old daughter as pillion. Loved it!
    Of course, as it was June, we didn't get any rain... obviously that's a lie, it rained every day, but who cares!
    Thought the piece at the ashes place was very moving, excellent choice of music. Reminded me that, possibly later this year, I'll be heading north to scatter some of my father's ashes somewhere on Hadrian's Wall...
    Looking forward to the next instalment of "AndyManCam Wrecks His Nuts On Scottish Roads, or Scottish Roads Play Clackers With AndyManCam's Knackers"... :)
