- Hi Folks This is not click bait. We are sharing our experience at this site. You may have a different view. This is the first time we have voiced our opinions regarding a Campsite.
We will not be returning to Lincoln Park Farm.
The Customer service experience was poor and thats putting it mildly.
The site is lovely however...

Learned my lesson years ago about pitching under trees. Took ages to clean the awning and caravan roof when we got home.

Hi Pete n Su. Pitching under trees is my pet hate. When it rains it sounds like a Nightclub in the van. Yes there is also the mess the tree sap and leaves cause. No not for me at all. Thanks Phil🙂👍
Hi Phil & Juliet. The price of the pool and duration put me off, I've never been to a site that charge extra to use the pool and I have been to plenty that have pools. Thanks for the review.

We are sited on Lincoln Farm and have extended our stay. What a great site this place is. A warm welcome awaits, where staff can’t do enough for you, everything was well explained on arrival. There is in fact music in the shower blocks. The site is spotlessly clean though out. I must ask did you speak to the warden’s whilst you were there. I think your negativity is unnecessary. I note your complaint about the building work, but no mention of the RAF flights. We would highly recommend Lincoln Park.if you have a problem speak to people first not slate them afterwards.
Hi Les. I am so glad you are having good time. From what you have said they must have watched my video and put somethings right. Yes we did speak to them but they seemed disinterested in what I had to say. I have had 2 people who have recently stayed there messaged me regarding being very ill whilst there and the Environmental Health are looking into their problem. I have reviewed plenty of caravan sites on the channel and never before have we been compelled to bring up anything negative. When we left they asked my wife if we had enjoyed our stay. When she replied no, without allowing her to explain the male is question dismissed her. We heard 2 planes from the RAF base whilst there which cannot be helped, however building work is a different matter and I feel should be disclosed so Customers can make an informed choice whether to stay. We where there 10 days and during this period there was better placed pitches we could have used but they given to the Weekend Folk. So my thoughts regarding this site will not change. I completed their survey and they still have not replied to the comments addressed. Need I say more. Please feel free to show them this comment. Enjoy your holiday. Phil & Juliet.
Hi Phil & Juliet, Shame about the negatives you experienced, otherwise it doesn’t look too bad a site. Thankfully the building works will only be temporary but the other issues do need looking at. Lots of sites seem to get the pitch width wrong and one of our pet hates is car in front of the caravan. Pleased you had a nice holiday and enjoyed exploring the area 👍. Best regards, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob. Yes I hate parking the car in front of the van it spoils the view and restricts light. I feel this Company need to train staff. I understand there was no original Staff left after the take over which concerns me as well. Yes had some lovely trips out but will not return there. Thanks P&J🙂👍
Such a shame. We had a great visit there a couple of years ago but admit we only stayed 3 nights. The pools were chargeable and the building work was starting on some new houses on the approach road. There were some nice pitches with views and little Cotswold stone walls which made it a pleasant place to be. We were given a very warm welcome and staff seemed very friendly. I did notice there was a large section of the site that was seasonal pitches, so this somehow made the campsite seem smaller. The pub down the road was very popular though and the general area very pretty. Maybe the new owners are just settling in? Let’s hope it regains its charm and not lose the awards that it boasts from the past. 🙂 Thanks for the review, it’s really useful to have friends opinions 😃👍🏻💙 Trev n Sue
Hi Trev n Sue. Yes it is a shame as the site is very nice. I feel their customer service needs improving and perhaps look at fees for the pool. We have never paid that much for a pool before, the average is about £5 and that was at some really posh sites. Sadly reading the comments other folk have not had the great experience that you did. I guess you win some you loose some.🙄 Many Thanks P&J🙂👍
Thanks for an honest review/overview. It’s all those things that you have mentioned that make the difference between a fair, ok or a great stay. Let’s hope the owners watch this and react to the comments. Keep the videos coming!

Hi Phil & Juliet Lincoln Farm was one of our Caravanning Jewels we visited several times when kids were younger. We booked the pools just for us and we really enjoyed that. We liked it that much we booked a couple of days on the way home from Isle if Wight, bit of a detour 😂. The Park was Family owned when we visited. Your right about the shower blocks, immaculate and they had music playing 24/7. I wonder if they’ve decided not to buy the licence? Oxford was lovely to visit, daughters partner was studying at Oxford so we spent some time visiting him there. I certainly hope new Management take heed of your constructive comments, for us we may just rely on our memories of a lovely Park.
Hi Colin. None of the original staff had been retained or remained and the Season pitches were empty except 1. I think the New Owners need to get a grip of this site otherwise it will loose Customers quickly and bad news travels fast. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Wow £70 to use the pool surely that should be part of your price for the pitch 😮 think the new owners need to go back to the drawing board and try again. Everything you've pointed out should be taken a good criticism by the park. Well done, and thanks for the heads up
Hi Paul. The Customer Service was poor and they didn't seem to understand what a caravan was and its requirements to aid for a better experience. Yes the New Owners do need to re think the whole experience and conduct some running repairs/improvements. Thanks Phil.🙂👍
Hi Phil, Juliet we have just had 4 nights under trees at Cliff house Suffolk not good but leaving site it poured it down and washed all the crap off 👍🏻😂then up to Woodhill at east Runton where we had travellers on site for a couple of days, as I explained to the staff I come on holiday not to watch my possessions, apparently it’s a regular stop for them, we won’t be returning, nice site though, but we wasn’t given the option on booking as wasn’t told, one chap left early, he put it on trip advisor, all in all told them to remove from mailing list as stayed there a few times, all the best let’s be knowing what these sites do Phil.

Hi Rob. Thanks for watching. We did this video purely because the staff were rubbish and didn't seem to care about their Customers. I do feel Customer Service is lacking both in the Private and CAMC at some sites. I would have got my money back from Woodhill and looked for an alternative site or gone home. Like you I would not have left the site for fear of items being borrow permanently. Will keep everyone up to date if the site respond. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Hello. Good video I've looked at that site but not sure now. I hate those push button showers. Wouldn't use the pool but Keith might. Pool should be free if you've paid to stay on site. (I'm getting tight). Thankyou. Xxx
Hi Alison and Keith. I don't think we are all tight. I think some sites are greedy and want to make quick a buck but at the expense of paying customers who also seem to be low on the list of importance. We all have a choice as where we spend or money. If they do not improve Folk will go else where. Thanks Phil & Juliet🙂👍

@@lostweekendscaravan - CAMC site at Hillhead Brixham, lovely pool but site fees rather high - Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks - 3 sites with pools and they do some great offers, especially out of season - Morfa Bychan Holiday Park Nr Aberystwth has lovely covered outdoor pool but site is on cliff top and can get a bit breezy - Tregarton Park Nr St Austell - one to avoid is Newlands Holiday Park at Charmouth, terrible site and expensive to use pool - we keep looking as we love swimming. Even have wetsuits so we can get in the sea. Mike
Hi Mike thanks so much for the Pool sites. Juliet loves and needs to swim post spine op exercise. She will swim in the sea but struggles with a wet suit due to her back. We have a few sites aboard booked with pools. We also like Plassey in North wales which has a pool and it is free (site review soon). Many Thanks Phil & Juliet.🙂👍🏊

Hi Joe, good question. To be honest I don't think it was hot enough to trip the fan, I will be monitoring it this summer. Will let everyone know in an update. Cheers Phil 🙂

Disappointed to see a potentially great site undergoing such tactics on you get what you’re given attitude. There’s nothing worse than being taken advantage with hidden costs along with the smallest pitch. Am pretty sure they’ll be in touch with you soon to make things better.
Hi TT Yes I agree but I doubt very much if they will make contact. We completed a Customer Service survey highlighting everything mentioned in this video and as yet nothing. Oh well it will remain off the list. Thanks Phil👍🙂
We are here at the moment and had no issues, large pitch and will return. Toilet facilities are great and spotless.
