Hello Bob and Jenny and Poppy. What a view on your journey. A little tight on that road Bob. The campsite was very rural. Looks lovely and great scenery. Poppy enjoyed the dog walk. The collapse bucket was a good idea x
Poppy is just like our dog, Ben; gets so excited as we pull up to our destination.😂
I loved this video. The scenery on the drive was beautiful. I especially love being the passenger instead of always the driver. It's so nice to be able to look around. Seeing Poppy and the other doggies was another bonus. Thank you Bob and Jenny. You both never fail to please. Already looking forward to the next instalment.
Thank you very much!
Hi there👋🏻👋🏻 Another great video, as I’ve said before, love the way you allow us to feel like we are actually sitting beside you as you navigate the roads. Those of us who are unable to physically experience the beauty of Scotland first hand get to experience it when watching your videos 👍👍👍. Love the easy banter between you and Jenny 💕💕. Keep up the good work. Stay safe, well and happy. Judy 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you, gratifying to hear that.
How absolutely lovely . What a great drive . Thanks for sharing x
Wow Great Site and Toilets so CLEAN
What a lovely spot. Looks peaceful.
I bet the wind whistles across there some days!
It certainly blows the cobwebs out of the old lugholes! 😂

Thank you. 😊👍
You can't beat Scotland, it's the best.
Loved the drive the scenery and the commentary was great the dog walk was lovely love the dogs ,enjoy ❤❤
Your navdude made me laugh when she said to turn into Campbeltown Road, because that’s one of the roads to take to my son’s house. Except in New South Wales! We don’t have quite the same beautiful scenery in our Campbeltown though 🥴
That was such a nice caravan park. What a fabulous ammenities block! So thoughtfully equipped.
Looks a lovely place enjoy your stay 😊
Many moons ago we stayed in a B&B in Machrihanish and played golf. The sunsets were amazing.
Yes, Bob McKay played there as well. Looks a fantastic course.
Nice drive down the mull. We have never been down there. Campsite looks nice. Nice and near to the water in either direction 😃🏴🚐👍🏻 Trev
There is a great campsite at carradale bay. Defo my favourite.
Makes us.homesick
I didn't want to leave.
Oh look at that View its lovely, is there room for one more,to come along, 😊
Fab video, so relaxing driving along with you. The site looks lovely. I’ve never been to Scotland at all, it looks great.
It was wonderful, thanks.
Looks very peacefull there. Along your journey i was singing Mull of Kintyre 😂
Me too 😁
Thank you for bringing me along. What a lovely site. No wonder you like Scotland.
No need for reverse beeping with Poppy's barking doing the same job :)
At 8:22, which you initially thought was a lay-by is Muasdale caravan park where we stayed June last year…super little place, weather was glorious with stunning views over to Islay and Jura. Great for visiting Isle of Gigha. Great video, closely watching this series as love this whole area…especially Arran👍
Ah, thanks for the the tip.
Well done Bob and Jenny another great video and thank you for taking us along on your long journey but what wonderful scenery and that must be one of the best roads in the UK to drive on! We love Scotland as well not been to that part but have been to Loch Lomond and over to invarary so must add this to our list! I remember seeing campbeltown on the road signs! I bet you were glad of Konnies bigger engine and auto gearbox on this tour all the best to you both Daniel
The engine and gearbox have been brilliant and getting better all the time.
We took the single track road with caravan…no problem at all ..straightest single track ever lol
But I had been on it before years ago…saves about 20 mins going thru the town
Try the Alps Bob they are unbelievably beautiful
I'm sure they are, but this is nearer!
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Oh that looks a lovely site Bob and Jenny. How far is it to the beach from the site and can you walk direct from site with the dogs over fields or is it along roads? The onsite dog walk looked lovely but awfully short. I'll definitely add this site to our 'to visit' list. Sadly the Lochgilphead site is now a definite no for us, it just looked a last minute mishmash or planning sites/statics etc. Thank yor for the continued wonderful videos, as ever educational and fun. Gavin
You can't walk direct to the beach as far as I'm aware. We took a short drive and I cycled to the beach. The dog walk looked short because I edited it, it's around 200 yards I guess.
Can you explain please: 15:19 -Why is it wrong to drive a heavy motorhome round the back of an airport? 🤔
No one said it was wrong, just that the sat nav choose the wider roads.
Which Sat Nav do you think is better? The one built into van or Mrs Sat Nag?
The built in one has been pretty good, but misses some important features that the Avtex has. I will try and do a video comparing the two when we get back home.
Re sat nav discussion, comparing the two video would be great. I'm a recently widowed campervan owner just getting used to driving it on my own. Mick had fitted an Xtrons unit which I can't get to work, so any advice on a good sat nav would be much appreciated. Great video, thanks and happy travelling to you both and Poppy 😊
Just been announced 10 per cent tourist tax to visit Scotland just the start !!
It would be up to local authorities to decide if they want to impose a tax like that, Hope you enjoy the video!
